We ordered the Samosa chaat, Chicken masala, Lamb Rogan Josh, Tandoori chicken, and Vegetable jalfrezi. We got a few orders of naan as well. Though we asked for several dishes mild- they missed the mark and they came pretty spicy. Unfortunately the kids couldn't eat them. The only dish the kids could tolerate was the tandoori chicken. The dishes came with a very small container of rice, so we had to supplement and make more rice. The samosa chaat was really flavorful and had good texture. The chicken tikka masala had a thick layer of separated oil on top.. but it was pretty good. The lamb meat was a little tough. Naan was tasty but not fluffy. Overall pretty average but the mild was way too spicy and the quantity of rice was really lacking. read more

So we've been ordering from this place with my work collogues for quite some time. Although the price is high, we enjoyed their Kati rolls. So today I found something absolutely disgusting in my Kati roll - Yup, it was a roach or something. I called the manager, which he did apologize and asked for a second chance. I wouldn't mind but instead of trying to correct it by stating I'll make a fresh one personally deliver it. He went on that it won't happen it again, to cover his own behind. I can forgive even with a hair, but with bugs - really? That tells me that the kitchen might need extra cleaning. Used to be my go-to Indian spot which I'd happily drive half an hour to pick up. The spice was quite elevated which I loved and the flavors were always excellent. When it was on this was a 5-star spot. However over the last year or so the portions seem to have dropped noticeably. We'd find ourselves fishing around for more chicken or mutton in the curry. The taste is still the same but something changed. So those recent orders were more like 3-star experiences. Perhaps that was during a period of elevated food inflation but hope they revert back to their normal portions soon. read more

A good solid spot for Kati Rolls. Definitely a fan of the chicken and egg as they load it up with a lot of chicken! The heat on this is just right - still need a glass of water nearby though. You get two rolls, and I'd say 1 roll is plenty for a lunch - so the value is pretty spit on. Definitely try this dish!! read more

Really well made Indian snacks and bigger dishes. The masala dishes are so rich. The owner and staff are really friendly too.

It was quite empty when we walked in but we came during the midst of Coronavirus. Most were coming in to pick up take out. I love the original Bollywood grill as well but this place is a tad bit more formal ( we were given real silverware as opposed to all plastic utensils at the original). I had the paneer sandwich which was buttery, spicy, and tangy. A flavor combo that is exceptional. We also had the phav baji which is my absolute favorite at this restaurant, I am addicted to it...basically licking the bowl clean. The kati rolls are sooo good too, the paratha is buttery and flaky. It's my favorite Indian restaurant that is near me because the food seems to be made with care and attention to taste. read more

Despite the fact that my service dog is a certified service dog and extremely well behaved in public at all times. A great discovery for lovers of Indian food! Like all the best restaurants nowadays, this one is NOT in NYC, but tucked away in a suburban strip-mall. I ordered four dishes, ranging from the innovative fusion cheese-fries to traditional nan and palak paneer, and everything was freshly prepared, flavorful, authentic! Delicious food, prepared and served promptly, charming staff, wonderful Indian pop music playing, tasteful decor. The only caution is that this is authentic food, so it may seem overly hot for American palates--though not to mine. So if some member of your party can't take the heat, the kitchen will be glad to provide a milder rendition of the dish. Bot once again, marvelous food, not dead cheap but very reasonably priced considering the generous portions and high quality. I will surely come back to try the other dishes. read more

I wasn't familiar with BG's original location, but when I saw that a new Indian place opened so close to my office, I had to check it out for lunch. I expected it would be a basic take out place with maybe a few simple tables. But actually, it's a really nice sit-down restaurant with lots of festively set tables. Of course, they also serve take-out orders. The staff were very nice. The pav bhaji was terrific! A generous portion too; there will be some to take home. BG2 is a winner. I'll be back. read more

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere (though some of it looks like it was from Lemongrass, the Vietnamese restaurant that used to be here), a pretty large menu. The food was great, we tried their bullet naan, garlic naan, and chilli naan. Fluffy, buttery, and with a kick. Started with the mixed pakoda platter and then dinner was chicken kadai, malai kofta, and paneer tikka. Amazing. May be a new go to spot. read more

I've been looking for a good place to order Indian food from in the greater Morristown area for over a year now, and Bollywood Grill 2 finally fulfilled our search tonight. We ordered paneer masala and pav bhaji, both of which were flavorful and had the right amount of spice. My only critique is that both dishes had quite a bit of oil, however other than that the food was delicious. The quantities were decent and the paneer masala came with rice. We ordered food for pickup, and the order was ready right on time. They seemed to be taking full precautions in light of the pandemic, with staff wearing masks and tables shifted outdoors to a covered and cordoned off area to the side of the restaurant. I'm looking forward to ordering from here again soon. read more

Went in and got two chicken katia rolls. The place was empty. They bring the food out on paper plates. I had to ask the guy for napkins and silverware. He brings me a white plastic knife and black plastic fork. The rolls were good except when I went to pay he rings up the rolls 11.99 instead of 9.99. I said to him that the menu said 9.99 and he tells me that the price went up to 11.99 and that he has not updated his menus in a month. Don't waste your money going here. I would give it one star if the rolls were not good. read more

I first stumbled upon this restaurant about 5 years ago when in the area, and when I returned to the Delaware Water Gap this summer, I KNEW I would have to find this restaurant again, as my friends and I have not stopped talking about the food. The "street food" is especially amazing as well as Indo-Chinese dishes, like the paneer chili. I've been to this restaurant twice and the food is delicious. Both times I have been here I've ordered the Chicken Masala and Tandoori Garlic Naan. The presentation of the food and the flavor are spot on! So, why do I only give this restaurant 3 starts? The service is extremely slow. I have only seen 2 servers taking orders and brining out food for the entire establishment. The servers are extremely friendly but, it's difficult to catch them if you need something for the table, need a refill or want the check. I hope the owners of this establishment can hire more servers which would bring them to 5 stars! Can't recommend it to anyone, food is stale and bad quality, ordered a few things and and service was really bad. The owner/staff is kind of unprofessional as well. They took a really long time take order and then brought the food in a half a minute. Seemed like a pre-prepared food. Bathrooms were also not clean. I had been to their original restaurant/takeout place in Parsippany many times which had a great collection/quality of Indian street food. Beautiful little place! Nothing to look at from the street but the minute you walk in you know it's a special place. It's absolutely spotless. The ambiance is casual and elegant at the same time. The decor of the restaurant is good (though the table felt kind of sticky), and the menu looks interesting. But the food just didn't cut it. I ordered a sev puri and it was nowhere close to what sev puri should be. They did not even use flat puris to make the sev puri. It had almost no sev on it, was more like a pani puri filled with chutney in it. The samosa chat was extremely spicy even for someone who is used to eating a lot of spice, our mouth was burning... not sure if they just assumed that we like super hot food. The restaurant also seems confused about whether they want to provide a full dine in experience or a fast food experience. While the tables and decor try to suggest a good dine-in experience, they serve their food in to-go boxes with cheap plastic spoons. read more

Just had the lamb vindaloo and Zi was very pleased. Very tasty with a good cut of lamb, and of course quite spicy (it is vindaloo, of course!). The garlic chili ban was a good accompaniment. I recommend this restaurant. read more

Newly opened, fantastic menu that included many of the curries of standard Indian fare, as well as Indian Chinese and Indian street food options. Staff were very friendly and helpful for us to learn about the different options. The food was fantastic. The naan was fresh and yummy. As an added bonus, they're open all afternoon, so if you want a late lunch / early dinner like we do often, you don't have to wait hours for them to open. We've tried most of the Indian restaurants in west Morris county, and I think this will be our new favorite. My only suggestion is that they put more explanations in their menu. Of important note, they add an 18% tip to the bill, so be careful you don't over-tip. read more
