Looks pretty fast casual with an ordering kiosk and entire "kitchen" behind the counter. Your eyes will be drawn to the big spits of meat rotating. However, there's a pretty big menu to explore. Kibbeh: Ordered one of these to try it. Apparently it's what made my order take awhile, since it's deep fried fresh to order. It was tasty with the crispy falafel-like shell and tons of seasoned ground meat inside. Döner Kebab (Beef): The real draw here, meat from from a spit, the namesake. It's shaved thin and crispy. Lots of fresh veggies, like more than I recall from the döner in Berlin. And the bread seems quite fresh. A high quality lunch! Fries: Crispy and plentiful. Home Ayran: Kinda like a plain yogurt salty lassi. Not a huge fan, personally. I could see how this might make a good sauce. read more

There was the plan and then serendipity took over. We stumbled to Bolu Doner Kebab after not being able to go inside the Calvin Harris Concert at Lummus Park. I am a big fan of Doner Kebab and I've traveled to Germany and Turkey seeking the perfect platter. I can tell you without hesitation that what Mr. Armando has created and built if some of the best Doner kebab I've eaten --definitely the best in Miami and probably the US! What stood out is the simplicity of the menu, the quality ingredients and the perfected seasoning of the meats, rice, vegetables and dessert. My beef/lamb wrap was light, crunchy and full of flavor. I enjoyed the white sauce and the spicy sauce the most! The surprise delights came as appetizers and dessert. They have an ale Cigale Barack -a crunchy and toasted tequeno like cheese goodness that combines four different cheeses to make it sweet and creamy, salty and sour. Because I had already walked 12534 steps I treated myself to dessert. Usually I'm a purist when it comes to baklava, but I was convinced to try the chocolate baklava. And boy was it absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Light, delicately balanced semisweet on the chocolate and beautifully balanced with honey and pistachios. I am so glad I accidentally found this place. Casual, clean, affordable, with friendly and attentive service in English, Spanish or Turkish. I will definitely be back and tell others! Open every day from 12 noon to 12 midnight. I stopped here one night for some late night eats and ended up getting lamb chops with yellow rice side salad and a side of french fries and a soda. I was so hungry that by the time I even thought to take a picture, the food was already done, but the meal was good and filling seasoned well and reasonably priced the person at the front counter was very helpful and explaining what everything comes with and also gave me some recommendations. Very clean and comfortable space with nice people working who are concerned their customers have a good experience. There's a good, varied menu and reasonable pricing. My doner sandwich was good, we visited this restaurant twice, the first time they put a sweet sauce that tasted like ketchup in my sandwich which was very disappointing, I made sure they only put white sauce when we went back. My kids had mini burgers with fries that they enjoyed. My husband had a durum wrap that he enjoyed. I walk by this place all the time (my gym is next door) and came the other day to support a (relatively) new business! There was a LOT to choose from and everything looked pretty good! I was on a time crunch, so decided to go with the Doner Box (choice of protein and comes with fries) and found it to be a great amount of food for the price. I got beef and it was sliced sooo thin and crispy and the fries were AMAZING. It came with 3 sauces - one garlic, one ketchup/hot sauce combo, and other chunkier one. I did order/ask for it to have sauces on it, but they forgot and brought them over instead. The garlic one was SO good and complimented everything super well. I will definitely be back. read more

This place is a fast food store that makes delicious Turkish street food! The service was quick and the staff was friendly and kind. There are not too many tables inside but still plenty of room to enjoy a quick meal. We tried their mercimek soup and it was one of the best Turkish lentil soups we had outside of Turkey! 10/10! It had the perfect amount of spice and lentils blended with yummy red pepper sauce in butter. We also tried the beef doner sandwich and it was delicious. As someone who grew up eating this type of food in Turkey, I am very picky when it gets to doners and this place was really good! We stopped by Bolu for the first time during our recent visit to Miami Beach. There are a few kebab shops in South Beach, some of which we had visited before, but we chose Bolu because of their location in regard to our hotel and because a lady gave us a flyer for 10% off our visit. The restaurant is very clean and the staff were super friendly. My wife had a doner sandwich and I had the doner and fries box. This menu option was another reason why we chose to visit. I used to live in the UK and my local Turkish kebab shop offered an option for meat only, which was my preferred order after the pub. With yummy Turkish garlic and hot sauces on top, you can't go wrong. My wife's sandwich was great as was my box. I was a bit disappointed in the amount of meat provided. I wanted more, but for $8, it was a fair amount. I didn't ask if I could just get $8 of meat without fries. The only complaint I have is that their doner is beef, not lamb or a lamb/beef mixture. I sent them a message on Facebook asking why they chose to serve beef but they never replied. read more

Tasty, juicy, doner chicken sandwich! Loved it, keep it up, one of the best sandwiches in south beach, reminds me of Turkey. I'd recommend also the Turkish lemon sodas and baklava. My only small recommendation is about the fries, I think they are beer bartered and double fried. Kibbeh is horrible! They should take that off from their menu foe sure. Disgusting. Doesn't taste like a kibbeh, not nearly close. Fries is good as it is prepackaged/precooked. Doner lamb meat seemed old but i ate it because i was hungry. Not great but i guess the pita was good. Don't think i will come back but i will only come back for that prepackaged fries! Overall bad Mediterranean food if you can call it even that. We can take this business out of the beach. Not worthy. read more

Finally a Turkish donar place in Miami. This place is excellent, the service is fast and everything from the beef donar to the French fries are great. The owners are welcoming and provide great and friendly customer service. This type place is very popular in Germany and New York. I'm so happy to see it here in Miami and the prices are very reasonable. One final point, try the pistacho baklava it is phenomenal. This is a must visit for those who appreciate food. read more

The Doner kebab from Bolu doner kebab is so so so delicious!! I had my first doner in Germany and this is by far the closest one I've had since then! And the atmosphere of the restaurant is vibey, chill, amazing, just perfect for me!
