Very cute store with the most delicious Turkish desserts. Amazing place on Lincoln rd. Very friendly employees. You can try some desserts before purchasing. I was told that the desserts come straight from Turkey. We tried baklava and some of those delicious lukum (I think that's what it called) and they were all fresh and tasty. I would recommend if you are ok with sugar Parking in the garage.

Wow what a selection. The bright lights and colors drew me in instantly. The couple behind the counter were very friendly and efficient. The treats themselves weren't laden with sugar, in a good way. It was mentioned these treats come straight from Turkey if I understood right. In the back they also sell some artwork, tea sets, coffee and other traditional finds known from Turkey. I'd say it felt pretty authentic! It's a small place. More for grab and go.

Owners were super nice and greeted us when we walked in. There is a variety of Turkish desserts in here, not only baklava. And they had different flavor combinations that I've never seen before. They even let us sample a few of the candies. They have a seating area where you can enjoy some Turkish tea. They charge the desserts by the pound. I'm not sure what the price point per pound was, but we are a family of 6 and we each chose about 3 pieces. The bill was over $70! That is really expensive.

A Turkish patisserie place in the heart of Lincoln Blvd in Miami Beach. A besurtfully designed Turkish/middle eastern patisseries. Staff is very nice. And for health conscious, their products do not include sugar, only honey. Which is amazing.

The display is simply gorgeous but I can't recommend actually going inside. The prices are truly insanely high, and the default tip options (for counter service??) are quite high as well. On top of that, the sweets were so bad we literally couldn't bring ourselves to eat more than a bite of each. Just stay away.

An absolute treat. For all your sweet tooth needs. We walked by the window display and had to go in. Yum!

There are no prices displayed. I felt ripped off. Basically got a bar of chocolate and 5 small pieces for almost $50. It was a shock.

Very very pricey and the quality does not follow the price. Feels like a scam. 5 pastries cost ~$22

As we walked by Safron, the smells and aroma with the lit up menu was what drove us right in. It's a very small hole in the wall, more for takeout, but they have a few tables and chairs outside that make the perfect people watching while you eat, that's free entertainment! We ordered the falafel plate to share and it was plenty. There's rice was absolutely delicious and the falafel were made on the spot served perfectly warm and crispy. Pro tip: ask for their house made hot sauce, it will rewire your brain. That was the perfect touch to our platter. Next time would LOVE to order the falafel wrap which comes with fries. Great little spot for authentic Mediterranean cuisine with bold, delicious and fresh flavors.

The sandwiches use pita bread and the wraps use tortillas. I got mine with pita, which was nice and soft. Tithe sandwich had bite-sized lamb chunks, which were very good and seasoned well. The fries are a "pass" for me. I don't like bartered fries. The Greek salad was a Greek salad, which is what I expected and wanted, so no complaints! Walking distance from my hotel, friendly staff. It's small inside with o my one table, so you'll sit outside if you stay. I waited inside for my food.

So I walked in expecting at least one moment that justified the noise. It never came. The mixed mezze platter landed first, and that was the first bad sign. It felt store-bought, flat, forgettable, missing that rough, honest, made-in-house character that gives these kinds of places life. The pita was fine. Nothing offensive. Nothing worth thinking about again. Then came the lamb gyro platter. The meat was too greasy, and the rest was just there, filling space on the plate. Not a disaster. Not a crime. Just the kind of meal that reminds you of those late-night kebab spots people hit after too many drinks and low standards. I like those places for what they are. But when the bill climbs past 20 dollars, the rules change. Service was good. The atmosphere had that familiar Miami Beach decorative polish, enough to make the place look better than it eats. And to be fair, the menu is big enough that I would try something else before writing it off completely. But based on this meal, 4.8 stars feels wildly generous.

The inside is cozy and cute, waiters friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and food was timely. We had the Greek salad with gyro meat which definitely exceeded my expectations. We also had the chicken wrap with fries. 10/10. The sangria was not too sweet and had tons of fresh berries in it! Can't wait to return. Our new favorite Mediterranean spot in the neighborhood!

Its location makes it ideal for a relaxed dinner after a sunset walk, and the ambiance leans into that cozy, family-style hospitality the region is known for. We kicked things off with a generous mezze spread, a highlight here and consistently praised in reviews. It included creamy hummus, eggplant-based dips like baba ghanoush, beetroot, yogurt spreads, and a pepper-eggplant mix, all paired with warm, fresh pita that kept coming out just right. Sipping Turkish tea in the Miami heat somehow worked perfectly, it was refreshing in its own way. For the main, I ordered the Iskender kebab, a comforting, flavorful dish of gyro-style meat over pita, finished with a light tomato sauce. We also tried Efes beer, a crisp Turkish pilsner that balanced the meal nicely. Despite us being a group of 10, Barış, our waiter, handled everything with impressive attention to detail, something many diners mention about the service here: attentive, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. To top it off, dessert was on the house--a creamy almond and pistachio pudding that paired beautifully with a strong Turkish coffee. A thoughtful gesture that really sealed the experience. Between the vibrant flavors, the inviting atmosphere, and the consistently praised service, Kalamata delivers a family-friendly, authentic Mediterranean night out that feels both elevated and relaxed. Definitely a place worth returning to. Afiyet olsun, bir daha görüşmek üzere!
