Always great burgers and shakes... Especially great on a sunny day under the trees in the shade!!! Yum yum!!!!

Family member thought there was a Big Al's in Fife. None of us did ANY research to see if this was true. Turns out it was a casino called BJ's. Lol! Yeah, we didn't even unbuckle our seatbelts to get out of the car. As we were leaving, we see this LINE of people at what looked like a tiny house. We were hungry so we found parking. We found out the name of this joint while we're waiting for our food at the picnic table on the grass behind and beside the restaurant. Beware of the birds. They already KNOW this place is good! They are bold and will try to get your fries. Yoooooooo! When I tell you this place is like IN-N-OUT, you better believe it. Menu, burgers, fries and shakes with a little more flavor and menu varieties. The burgers and fries are even wrapped like INO! The employees have black hats, t-shirts and black aprons (full covered) similar to the other restaurant. The food quality of the burger however is not there. If you get a triple patty burger, you will have a regular patty anywhere else. Those fries....outstanding perfect In-N-Out cut medium well done lightly salted excellence. See why the birds like 'em? The shakes...that butterscotch milkshake was the best I've ever had apart from Chick-Fil-A and Jack in the Box. The strawberry shake had whole bits of real strawberry in it! So glad we took a wrong turn and ended up having this adventure. If we ever come back this way again, you know where we will be eating. Maybe I'll get the hot dog next time. I'm sure to be happier than a bird with a french fry.

    Dog friendly.

My granddaughter and grandson had never been here but have heard me talk about it do visited. They wanted to try the strawberry, which is in season right now, and a Hot Fudge Peanut butter milk shakes along with burgers and fries. They were both impressed. Now, they plan to makd this a tradition since they loved it do much. Well done Pick-Quick with your consistency and never failing me with the best hot fudge peanut butter milkshake I've had anywher.

This place hits absolutely, every. time. What a hidden gem in the Fife area, and who would've known that I'd find a place where I'd fall in love with burgers again! I love In-N-Out burgers in California, and this place comes close to reminding me of them. The flavor is just right and is probably one of the best fast-food and affordable burgers in Washington, in my personal opinion. You have to get the burger-and-milkshake combo, and the service is very quick. I cannot wait to get my next meal when I visit. This is a new comfort spot for me. :)

    Yep still the original address

If you took me away from SoCal and blind folded me and told me we're back in so cal and fed me pick-quicks burgers and fries I would have said I didn't leave LA .... The food is sooooo familiar to the point that I'd say it's one and the same of a privately owned LA institution but this this is whole diffeeent level because there's no lines and they do it just as good if not better! It was quaint to eat at tables outside behind the shack.. I loved every moment. The fries were extra crispy as I requested and the double cheese burger was sooo good and fresh. I'd move here and never miss my old home.

Very solid old school burger spot. Pick Quick is a pretty affordable simple burger spot, for my first visit I tried a Deluxe Double Cheeseburger and a side of fries. Even though they were kind of busy the service was quick and efficient, and I received my order in about 10 minutes. My favorite part of my order was the fresh cut French fries. They had that right combination of crispiness and pillowy potato softness that I prefer in a fry and were well salted, all for under $4 for a large serving. The burger was on the smaller side but still tasty and satisfying, with my favorite part being the "Pick Quick" burger sauce.

A local burger gem. Kind of want to gate keep but I will let you in on this secret. Fresh hot burgers, fries and THE BEST fresh banana shake. Bought a double patty with Tillamook Cheese and grilled onions... messy deliciousness. Fries were well seasoned. Get the special sauce for dipping! The shake was kept cold in the fridge since I ordered online. Super cute retro vibe... If you have not tried it... go

Tiny classic burger stand in Fife. Run by a bunch of friendly young people serving up made-to-order burgers, shoe string fries, chili and milkshakes. Because the burgers are made to order, they can be customized. You can get chili on your fries too! The milkshakes are made with real ingredients, none of the packaged stuff. What I really like you can get grilled onions with your burger. There are also hot fudge sundae and banana split you can enjoy outside on the picnic tables. On cold days, lots of takeout orders or just eat in your car!

    This is what you see.

We like to find those hidden gems when we wandered and this may be one...so far so good. We stopped by to get the 13yo a burger...and me a coney dog. The kid ordered a double cheese burger with bacon. He said it was okay, saying the patty was small and bland...keep in mind he salts everything...even salty fries...I know... My coney was decent, the dog was a bit salty and so was the chili...I still ate it all using the chili as dipping sauce. There's a good chance we may stop back...

The burgers weren't terrible and the staff was nice! Unfortunately my Diet Coke was flat and they gave me no ice, but were nice enough to give me a new soda (also with no ice). I don't know if this is common practice as I've never seen anything stored on the floor in any food service I have ever worked, but I saw that they keep their onions on the ground. I also watched the main cook walk out of the kitchen, touch multiple door handles and other things, not change his gloves or wash his hands, and then proceeded to touch our buns and our burgers. It was a little off-putting and i think we just won't return.

We use to eat here very often. 10 years ago we moved out of state. Today we flew in to visit family, said to hubby "need some lunch first" he remembered this place....BINGO that was some really good grub. Love you guys.

I was invited by a friend so decided to take my chances. Ordered the Jack Deluxe with cheese on a lettuce wrap. Small fry. Dining area is a tent with good tables.. much appreciated. Might help to put in more trees for a wind barrier. Hard to hold all that paper down. When my buzzer went off, indicating my order was ready... my slip said "no lettuce"... odd for a "lettuce wrap"... I opened it. Sure enough- no lettuce and it was ON bun. no condiment were offered or provided either. I did go back to the window and staff agreed to remake my burger. Had to throw away a perfectly good one. There was a family ahead of me... same happened to them. It may be good to 1. Train your staff on accommodations 2. Have a gluten free bread option. (Lettuce wraps are terribly messy) Decent burger but I've definitely had better.

Awesome! Couldn't have enjoyed our visit to Crockett's any more…read more We stopped in on a Saturday for lunch. It was relatively busy, but our server was great! The fried zucchini were prepared in a manner that we haven't seen before - long, flat pieces. Excellent! My wife had the Sloppy Joe - and she couldn't have been more pleased. Seasoned to perfection. I opted for a Wedge Salad, which was another item prepared in a way I hadn't seen before either - it wasn't a big rock-like salad, it was sliced and laid sideways. Perfect. and with lots of bacon! We'll definitely be back to Crockett's! (We'll just have to find a reason to go to Puyallup.)

Came here per their suggestion, because I'm a food snob, and I'm glad we did. Cool little place, super clean, nice decorum, yada yada yada. Our server was Jessica T. I am very neurotic, and she was very patient, and even engaged in back and forth banter. She came to take our drink order, and if you know me, I always have a lot of complex requests. I started off ordering a boring vodka and soda, but then switched it up to cucumber vodka with muddled lime and mint with soda. Visibly and vocally unperturbed, she took my order along with my counterparts. The bartender whipped me up a couple of those bad boys and let me tell you, it was refreshment level: EXPERT. And props to the bartender, whom I thanked on the way out. After I drink order, I started ordering all sorts of ish. We had, an order of grilled sourdough, which was phenomenal and I'm actually going to start making that at home, if I ever get there, me and my (non-romantically involved, strictly platonic cuz I don't swing that way) partner both had the Cavatappi Ragu, and his wife had something with meatballs, that's all I can really remember. Man, even a my standards the food was so good. I'm very grateful that my folks picked up the check, and I feel bad because I ordered so much stuff, which I wasn't expecting because I went Ham on the menu, but damn man.... I think you can actually eat cheaper at a comparable restaurant in LA... Prices were pretty high. Even for me hahaha BUT all that being said, the next time I come see these clowns, I want to go back! Very good experience, very good food, very good service. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. Recently stopped in here for a date night with the wife…read more We've been looking for a decent replacement ever since Tacoma lost the Rhein Haus. Since my wife is of German heritage, brats and kraut are a thing in our life. The menu here looked really good, so we stopped in our 29th anniversary. I will say, there is a parking lot across the street. For those who've been in the area for a while and remember past times, it used to be a used car lot Luckily I found an empty spot on the street right out front, so I grabbed it. But yeah, parking in this area can be tricky. Just be aware that there is the lot across the street on Puyallup Avenue, the entrance is from "Court A", which looks like an alley but is technically a road. Tacoma is fun like that. So let's talk food. We ordered the Brätzel, because my wife loves a good soft pretzel with some beer cheese. This one states that it's a beer cheese soup, and it was a bit thinner than a typical beer cheese. But it had a really good flavor. It was not gritty at all like some beer cheese can be (I'm looking at you Hops&Drops). I'm not a huge pretzel fan, but I will say that I tried a portion of it and enjoyed this one. The pretzel had a good flavor and the beer cheese soup was great. We also split the Landjäger / Käse Platte. Let's get one thing clear, this thing is bigger than it looks on the menu. There's a lot here. I'm really not sure exactly which of the four cheese were which. If you go by the description on the Käse Platte then it should be Bavaria Bleu Crème, Raclette, Emmentaler and Butterkäse. The Bleu Crème is easy to spot. The rest look similar really. But each had a unique flavor and all tasted absolutely wonderful. The cured beef and pork sausages were good, but the cheese stole the show here. We also shared the Berliner Platte for a main. Again, I can not stress this enough, there is A LOT of food here. the two of us had no chance of eating all this. This plate comes with the following sausages; Berliner Bratwurst, Smoked Cheese, Spicy Cheese, Chicken Andouille & Bockwurst as well as being served with sauerkraut and you get to pick two sides. We chose the Spätzle and Pommes (fries). All of this was amazing. The spicy sausage and the andouille were too spicy for my wife, but we knew that going in. If you have a group and are wanting to sample the many wursts here, I would highly recommend this plate. Now, let's talk service. I don't remember our server's name, but she was so great. Very friendly, very tentative, very good at her job. This was exactly the kind of service I look for when I go out to a restaurant. I don't want some tablet where I'm interacting with a faceless machine, I don't want a kiosk, I want a real person who engages with us and helps make our experience the best it can be, and this place gets it. The staff here is on point, they are good, they take good care of you and the experience made s want to come back. This place is for sure at the top of our list for German food here in Tacoma. If you have not been, you need to stop by. It's not big, it's not fancy, you'll drive right by it if you aren't paying attention. But this place is by far the perfect replacement for our missing sausage haus. We are so glad we stopped in.
