Good tacos! We came for dinner one night and had a good time, we wouldn't make it a priority to come back but would come for a quick meal again. When I walked in, I immediately loved the bright colors and fun decor. It was overshadowed by a weird smell though, like trash or fish or something. They had a ton of table space open, and TVs to watch games or whatever new show is on. I ordered the Thursday special, 2.99 quesabirria tacos, and a modelo bottle from the fridge. It looked like they had margaritas and tequila but mostly a fridge of beers and canned cocktails. They have soda or water bottles if you want NA. The tacos were fabulous!! My husband and I both ordered them and thought so. We got chips and salsa too, the salsa was chunky and mild. The chips were mixed corn and flour and had a dusting of seasoning which made them taste so good. I'd love to come back and try their famous queso! read more

Taco Tuesday is not possible without tacos, bomb ones at that. We sampled several proteins, including shrimp, barbacoa, asada and ground beef, and found them all tasty. But let me back up to the ultra-friendly guy at the register, who explained the special, the options, and the Wing Wednesday we need to come back for. There are 3 locations- we chose the Maple street one for the best parking on a rainy night. The customer traffic stayed steady. Given our experience, we would risk the walk to get back to the tacos. Had diner here with my family. We all liked the food. The chips and queso were good, they let you get flower or corn chips and even mix them which is nice. I'd say this was on par with Rusty Taco. The person working was very nice and helpful. The restaurant isn't very big but they had a lot of TVs and it was clean. read more

It's Taco Tuesday! Grabbed four Tejano tacos (two chicken, two ground beef) for some dollars and change with all the toppings, some pretty damn good salsa off their salsa bar! I've had their ground beef before but I can't seem to place it but their flour tortillas were that nice chewy (trust me) too. Their chicken was HELLA dry and damn near a 3-swallow-er to get the bite down! Thennnn we also snagged four of their Street Tacos, also for some dollars and change. Two carnita and two al pastor () and that al pastor with the pineapple chunks, was fire! Definitely top contender to come back for another taco Tuesday. Always love a good carnitas, and theirs didn't disappoint! A little more "juice" would've also assisted, but over all, no complaints. Bomb Taco is just that - it's the BOMB and they have amazing TACOS! That's an A+ in my book. The staff is always nice and helpful when we ask for recommendations. The ambiance and interior is fun with bright colors and a cute little donkey logo that is on a huge mural inside. For starters, one of our favorites is the chips and cheese! The chips are nice and crispy (but not too crispy) and the cheese dip is very flavorful and plentiful. We've also had the nachos, which have the same queso cheese on top as the chips and cheese, but with lots of other toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, and a bunch of sour cream drizzled on top. If you're a fan of nachos, these are definitely one to check out! For entrees, we've had a few that are our favorites. I've had the Quesadilla with chicken as the protein, which was super high quality and tasty as chicken goes. Our other favorite is the El Nebraska Burro (burrito), which is deliciously cooked ground beef in a high quality tortilla, and topped with that same great queso that is on the nachos and chips and cheese! Now the place is called Bomb TACO, so we obviously also grab tacos too and they're always fantastic. The ones we've loved are the Asada and Carnitas, which are both great and pretty similar in flavor with small differences that make each awesome in different ways. The Baja Fish Taco is my other fave, because it comes as grilled fish vs the fried fish you usually find in fish tacos - a welcome surprise! And lastly, the dessert we always get is the Churros. They come warm and toasty with a little cup of chocolate sauce that is heavenly with the churros. Best of all, Bomb Taco is very inexpensive when compared to other taquerias around town - so you can try a few tacos and apps for the same price as one taco at those places. Best tacos and margaritas I have had in the Omaha area and it's right around the corner from my house

I went to Bomb Taco on Maple Street with a few friends, and it was a great experience. We all enjoyed the food and drinks, and the staff was amazing. As soon as we walked in, I loved the cozy atmosphere. The vibe was friendly, and the playlist was on point! It is small, so if you have a big group, you might want to call ahead to make sure they have the space. This was my first time, and I would 100% recommend it. I had the birria with some fries, and the table shared a variety of tacos and the asada/chicken papitas (loaded fries). They were, dare I say it... bomb. The drinks were also amazing. Between the eight of us, we had Palomas and margaritas, and they were really good! I like that there is a decent variety of everything, which worked well for our group. They also offer carryout, and I noticed that people picking up their orders didn't have to wait long. That shows the kitchen staff has it together, just like the front-of-house team. I'm looking forward to going to this place on a regular basis. Good food and affordable! I watched as families walked in after me, ordered, sat, ate and left while the staff reassured me food was next. Bomb Taco, no not really!! I'd say Ok Taco. I had the street taco Tuesday combo. Asada was mid, brisket was ok, chicken dry I mean bone dry. The El Pastor was good. The dip trio was fine. They also have really good salsa. The rice was under done and the beans were just ok. The service was phenomenal. Nice beer selection. The dining room looks very much like a fast food restaurant. Overall, I was really pleased with the quality of the food here. They had several options for kids meals, which makes this a great place for families. Friday they have a happy hour that goes until 6 PM, which gives you $2 street tacos, and deals on margaritas and beer. I tried most of the street tacos...some of them were good and a couple of them were great. I was pleasantly surprised by the chorizo taco. I have had several disappointing ones in the past, but this had a nice spice level, it wasn't too dried out because the meat is ground up, it wasn't greasy...it was fantastic. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Carnitas. This is another one of the street tacos that typically gets dried out or bland. But not the case at bomb taco! Succulent meat and nicely flavored. The tacos were served with plenty of fresh limes, and they didn't scrimp on the fillings. The small corn tortillas were filled up, nearly completely. The main drawback was that they were understaffed. I felt bad for the gal who was working behind the register. She was the only one to handle taking orders, bringing food out from the window, and cleaning the entire dining room. She was a busy gal with a smile on her face so props to her. If you like to eat cold Mexican food out of a recycled paper formed container...this is your place. It was the worst chicken enchiladas I have ever tried to eat! The bean were the Luke warmest..the rice was cold and dry... our daughter wanted us to bring her some wings.. takeout...we got home and I was alittle jealous because I had to choke down the dried chicken enchiladas and wings didn't look to bad?This place is on my X-list! One of my favorite places to eat now. Affordable and delicious. Sizable portions. The steak is very well-marinated and pops from the rest of the dishes. My only complaint is the distance- kinda far from my neck of the woods. But I hear they're adding a location in Dundee soon. read more

2nd location of Bomb Taco. We came on a Tuesday so of course had to take advantage of $2 tacos deal. I was also in the mood for nachos so we ordered those with steak. The tacos were all great. My friend really enjoyed the brisket one. They have two salsas (more like taco sauces as they are smooth) available. One is green with good flavor. The red/orange one is smokier with a bit more heat. Both were good and very fresh. The nachos were perfectly layered with fresh ingredients and queso. I will be back to try their wings at some point as they have an option to have them charred and most places don't offer that. Service was friendly and our food came out timely. They were out of bottles of Coke when I was there so I had to have water. That was my only gripe. read more

This place is awesome - food is great! Also, they have the best birria tacos - they're just so good. Best thing too, they're only 3 dollars on fridays. I took my granddaughter on a Friday and now she asks to go every week lol. When we aren't in that area we've tried other places, including a very highly rated Mexican restaurant in Omaha, and they didn't come close. They have a daily special which I want to try soon.
