The food always tasted a bit too salty BUT THIS TIME we loved our food. My dad did a takeout of their chicken platter. The chicken platter is like a crossover between chicken tandoori and halal guys. It was delicious, flavorful, and 3 of us could split it (we were not too hungry). I'd probably come back again.

4-Star Review - Delhi Garden, NJ…read more Tried Delhi Garden recently on a friend's recommendation. It's a bit out of the way from the central Edison area, but worth a visit every now and then. I saw some solid reviews online and decided to check it out. Service was good . Atmosphere not that great . Overall, I was leaning toward a 3-star rating, but a few standout dishes pushed it to a 4. The aloo cutlet with chole was the star of the show--super authentic and flavorful. The paneer tikka and paneer masala also hit the mark taste-wise, though I wish they had packed a bit more spice. The paneer tandoor came in a generous portion, but again, it could've used more flavor. The biryani was just average. One common theme--everything was low on spice, and the small container of spicy sauce they give barely lasted a few bites. It's a takeout-only spot, so no dine-in tables, and the parking area is small but manageable. Price-wise, it felt fair for the portion sizes. Not perfect, but worth trying if you're in the mood for North Indian flavors and don't mind customizing the spice at home!

We came on a Sunday morning around 10am and there was only one worker out front. We ordered at the kiosk and he got right to work on our drink order. Our food came out before our drinks. Good service! What we ordered: - CHICKEN TIKKA QUESADILLA (Chicken Tikka, Three Cheese Blend, Chipotle Aioli on Flour Tortilla) - BANANA PUDDING MATCHA LATTE (Ceremonial Grade Matcha, Banana Syrup, Milk, Banana Pudding Cream, Crushed Nilla Wafers) - SPANISH MATCHA LATTE (Ceremonial Grade Matcha, Sweet Condensed Milk, Milk) Everything was made fresh and it was all tasty. The banana pudding matcha latte was very good, the banana aspect didn't taste like artificial banana syrup. We've been to places where it literally tasted like a Banana Runtz Candy. I would recommend this place.

Chai Chenak is separated into a restaurant area that specializes in classic street food items like bun kebab, and a cafe section next door. I've enjoyed the Kathi rolls here, but the main reason to visit is for the Kashmiri chai, which is prepared in large quantities and always ready to go. The chai has a slight buttery saltiness that adds to the richness, especially when you pair it with a healthy dose of sugar.
