My friend and I love coming to Sigri whenever we want a quick lunch. Had been here multiple times and so far it has been consistent. Our personal favorite is their salmon which they make to order so we appreciate that. I believe there was a time when the salmon skin was extra crispy and it had us coming back, haha. One of the workers recommended the Carribean sauce to us with the salmon and ever since then that has been our go to order. We are happy with their naan and chicken samosas as well to order as side dishes. I also tried their butter chicken which I love as well. Every time we come, the workers here are so nice and they will know what to recommend. I like that I can enjoy dishes here without getting them super spicy. Vegans AVOID. The website does a so-so job of indicating what is vegan, but those labels are nowhere to be found inside the actual restaurant. I told the counter staff person that I was vegan and he offered me tofu, which I gladly accepted although I hadn't recalled seeing it on the website. He then kept offering me lamb and chicken until I said, "I told you I was vegan, why do you keep offering me that?" Brought the food home and heated it, only to find that the "tofu" cubes were paneer, not tofu, which ISN'T offered here at all. I'm so tired of businesses not taking allergies seriously. First time visiting and got a bowl and platter and two paneer samosas on the side. The naan is made in a special oven. That was really nice to see it cooked and taken out fresh. Our server was very nice and helped walk us through the different options and even gave us advice on how not to get charged for the extra sauces we were going back and forth on. This place opened up a few months ago, so we decided to try it. The restaurant is clean and has tables both indoors and out. We ordered the chicken Tikka masala Kathi roll and the chicken masala Kathi roll. Both had great flavors. We ordered a side of masala fries, too. Sauce on the side is a bit spicy. So it was my first time ordering from this place via DoorDash. Had the platter with garlic naan, rice etc. and also had the chicken tikka Kathi roll. Man oh man. Who gives tikka sauce on the side ?! Like wtf. Had pieces of bland chicken on top of the rice and tikka sauce in the side. Like for real. On top of that the samosa was rock hard with no chutney. Quality and quantity at its worst. Do not I repeat do not order from this place at all. Waste of money. 18-20$ platter plus 12$ plus or kathi roll also garbage. I don't blame the others for giving this place a 1 star review. We were in the neighborhood and decided to try this relatively new spot for lunch. Enterprising staff and ambience but food was average . It was kept for a weekend . They have attempted a Chipotle kind of concept with Indian barbecue m, but it didn't really work for me . The Kati roll ( mini Indian burrito) with chicken tikka was good . Chicken was soft and the cilantro sauce was tangy and added a pop of flavor to the roll . The salmon bowl with onion salad Sigri rice and Caribbean sauce was good to eat. But the aftermath for us was bad . I wouldn't try this again . If you like Kari rolls you can try this place. It's inside a strip mall so there is ample parking. read more

Went to Sigri based on too many social media reels advertising, and unfortunately were not impressed. It's a small setup, with a chipotle assembly line setup. Good Indian drink selections, lassi, etc. but food is average or below. The chicken seemed uncooked, no where close to what's shown in advertising. The lamb and other curry seemed sloppy, and the overall ordering experience was sloppy. The Kathi roll was nothing great too and paratha seemed unevenly cooked. The servers were polite, kind and giving options to taste prior to ordering but quality of food negated the other positives. Has potential but need to step up on quality. read more

My husband has been following this place on instagram and we decided to pop in for lunch. I'm glad we did. The kathi rolls were bomb. They were fresh and they did not skimp on filling them up! Lots of flavor for both the spicy and non spicy. The decor and atmosphere is trendy and cultural. --Very cool art pieces oh the walls. The staff was extremely friendly. I went to sigri for the first time recently. I got a bowl with yellow rice, veggies, salad, vindaloo sauce and hot sauce. I honestly really enjoyed the flavors and appreciated that the sauces were actually really spicy. The veggies were a little undercooked but my friend tried the paneer which was well done. I would get a bowl with the same sauces with paneer instead of veggies next time. The line moved quick and service was kind. I went during lunchtime on a weekday and was surprised to find people dining in. The seating area is casual and I would compare it to chipotle type vibes. I dined in and got a bowl to go as well. Located in the North Brunswick Shoppes, which has so many options.. this one stands out. Place is open and clean, very little seating, so you may want to take your food to go. Very friendly service. This is important because there are many options to choose from and you may have questions.. I see that they have options of kebabs, platters, bowls, and rolls... I, of course, got the kathi.. with paneer. It was so good! I love the consistency of the bread... it was filled with tasty goodness such as pickled onions, different sauces to choose from...let's just say I picked the not so spicy one, my husband's was a little bit to hot for him.. You can also have a fried egg added, and I definitely did. Added a veggie samosa on the side, which was very good.. nice amount of crunch with very flavorful fillings. This is the second time that I've gone here. Pretty good tastes. It is an Indian version of chipotle! Had a bowl, chicken, tikka, butter sauce, chutney. It was absolutely acceptable. Good portions. Oddly, it the rice was cold. No issue, needed to microwave. I work a couple of blocks away so was a little surprised - it should have been a lot hotter. No, it wasn't the cold weather. Ever since WFH full-time, I've been longing for a place with some good kati rolls. Working in NYC spoiled me to the infamous Kati Roll Company, perhaps some of the best kati rolls you can find. Therefore, my baseline is just way too high for many to match. I discovered Sigri as I was attempting to go shopping at other stores in the plaza. I didn't really care for the chipotle-style bowls (not saying it's good or bad - just simply my personal interest!) as I was focused on the kati rolls. My anticipation was high. So I ordered the Achari Paneer kati rolls. First, I asked about serving size and was recommended to get 2. Pro tip: 1 is all you need. I could barely get through 2. So.... the achari paneer kati roll is effectively made up of small paneer cubes which is the same base you'd receive in a bowl. It's fine - I can live with it. Kati Roll Company cuts the paneer into thicker rectangles and is marinated a slight bit more, though it does take longer to make. For perspective, it took me a couple mins to get my kati roll here. The main problem I had was that it was just too oily and tangy. The wrapping and paratha was full of oil that it was just annoying to eat. I ideally would prefer if it wasn't so oily. One of the benefits to eating a kati roll is to eat it out of the wrap without having to make much of a mess. That isn't really the case here. Also, the chutneys were a bit too tangy for my liking. The onions were fine, but there's something special to having the onions grilled a bit more - kebab style. You don't get it here because it's part of the chipotle-style bowls. I can live with it though. Peppers would be a nice addition to the achari paneer roll, but it doesn't really go well with the bowls I guess. However, the biggest flaw is that the roll itself came apart way too quickly. I think it's because it was stuffed with all the paneer and fixins. That was my biggest turnoff of other kati roll competitors and definitely a big turnoff to eating burritos from certain food trucks, establishments, etc. I just need it to be wrapped up tightly so it'll last until my last bite. That's what actually made Kati Roll Company one of the best even with its price hikes. Either stuff it less or tighten up the paratha itself - idk the best solution, but might require some special training. At $6.99/roll, the price is no joke now. Although, with the serving size you'll survive lunch eating only 1 of these. Was more than looking forward to giving this place a 4, but it'll have to be a 3 until these things are fixed. I do look forward to that as I want to come back here in the future. I'm sure the bowls satisfy most of the patrons here though. read more

Wow, amazing fast Indian food! Absolutely delicious. I got the Classic chicken tiki & talked the server into throwing in the cheese :D. Because technically it's either or. Oh, and I got a fried egg white in mine for extra protein. The cucumber lemonade has chunky bits of cucumber in it, which sounds weird but it tastes so good. And truly nicest employees ever! I wish I had one of these places near me in Brooklyn. For two kathi rolls, one lemonade and a water I paid about $20+. Can't beat that. read more

Stopped by Sigri Indian BBQ which is a similar concept to Chipotle but with Indian flavors. All proteins are cooked in a tandoor own for a nice taste. We ordered 3 types of bowls and overall flavors were quite good with good level of spice. The salmon however was dry and was quite sour maybe to much lemon juice or something. Chicken and paneer bowls were good. If you are looking for quick hit of Indian flavors, this is a good option! read more

I went here the other day because I was in the area and was super hungry. To my surprise it was actually pretty good. Being indian and seeing a restaurant with this concept I didn't have much hope but it really hit the sport. I had gotten the platter which comes with a somosa and naan. The paneer was flavorful the somosa was nice and crispy. If you are looking for an alternative to a chipotle I definitely recommend checking Sigri out. It is quick and easy and not to mention really affordable. One thing that stood out to me was while eating the owner had came out and asked how the food which I liked. I had ordered online in advance but I think it would be super quick to also just order on the spot as they make it for you real-time. The ambiance is very casual and the food is fresh and delicious. We came from out of town and it was really good. The concept was different and the flavor was definitely there i loved it!! I got the build your own bowl and the only problem i had was the lamb was super tough and dry but everything else was delicious! Aside from NY's Kathi Roll Company, this is the only spot I found that's close and sells delicious kathi rolls like there!! It's set up like Chipotle - tou choose your protein and toppings. As per the employees favorite, I chose the vegan delight roll. He pulled out a tava and started hearing the naan - I was so surprised and excited to see that right in front of me! The staff also mentioned how they had just opened and had a couple locations, and introduced me to the rest of their menu which was so kind to do. Sigri also sells samosas and gulaab jamuns - the staff helping us gave us 3 gulaab jamuns for free!! When I got to our table (plenty of space to sit and eat), the kathi roll portion was pretty big but not too overwhelming. A good portion for your buck. I had such a wonderful time here interacting with the staff, eating the delicious food and hanging out with a friend here - highly recommend!!! read more
