I'm not sure with the stars because I'm not sure with the food anymore. I keep giving them chances and every time they lack on something different, with each time building upon the previous downfall. Initially I stopped ordering the wings because they were not marinated and this only had started once they moved locations so I did not see a point in ordering $20 wings that did not taste good. I was actually able to make them myself at home and make them better. Every time I order extra meat I feel like they just give me a bigger to go Tupperware with a massive amount of rice and the same amount of meat that someone would get for a regular order. Their flavor has gone downhill since they have moved and prices have just gone up which shows we are all just paying for their rent because they think they are in a more desirable location. On my way to a friends home I picked up some food as I was visiting them for a get together after a long time of COVID restrictions. Wow, the food was so good that we wanted more food delivered! It was among the best Indian food in a long time. The place is small but very clean and were strictly maintaining all COVID precautions. The food was well spiced, fresh made in an open kitchen. The lady owner was very professional and polite. The Chicken Kati rolls were spot on. Veg. samosa was very good. Both Lamb curry & Chicken curry had the right spicing and served with rice. Pretty good food to go. Always hot when I get it home. A nice selection for any Indian food to go and reasonably priced; it's not often that you can find that combination. Good. To go. Selection. Ordered lunch today, and they messed it up. Asked for chicken over rice with white sauce in side, they put white sauce all over and charged me for an extra white sauce. Asked for Naan and didn't include it in my order. To top it all off, it came out to $11.20 gave $12 and was told I'm all set there's no change. I'm all for supporting small businesses but you shouldn't just assume I'm giving $0.80 as a tip when you screwed up the order. If you asked me to comment on strictly the food then I wouldn't be reviewing this place on yelp, I'd be knocking on everyone's door who lived in Waldwick and asking them why they aren't eating at this place. The food is just sublime, the chicken tikka masala is a beautiful blend of creamy and spicy and the consistency is just perfect. They make great naans and their samosa is second to none. So why am I only leaving a 3 star review? Let's say you call these people up on a Friday evening. You put in a relatively simple order and the guy on the phone tells you it will be ready in 35 to 40 minutes. You know that this guy has a terrible record of giving accurate time indications so you add another 15 minutes to the wait time and arrive 55 minute after you order. When you go pick up your food, you assume it has to be ready, they have had almost an hour to cook your food, which wasn't a very complicated order but nope, they are waiting on the naan. The naan takes an additional 15 minutes to come out, meanwhile your curry has been getting cold. You look around and 4 other people have been waiting the whole time with you because they were also told extremely inaccurate preparation times. Tip for the people who own this place, either make your food more efficiently or be straightforward with how long things actually take. read more

This place is pretty good. I had the butter chicken and my husband got the chicken tikka masala. The butter chicken was tasty and I like that they give you so much chicken. The tikka masala was just ok, very tomato heavy and there was about only 4 small pieces of chicken in it. This is a takeout joint. No real place to sit down and eat. They have a take out menu but don't miss the small "specials" sign by the cashier. This is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area for its reasonable price and super delicious food! One of the cheaper Indian places in the area. They also ask you the level of spiciness which is great - at typical Indian lunch buffets you are stuck with one spicy level (usually "none"). Although this is out of the way for me, I'd gladly take the extra time to order from here versus some of the more overpriced sit-down places in Bergen county. Come here for the malai shrimp! It is amazing! If I could, I would eat it everyday! I ate it so fast each time I didn't get a chance to get a picture. They also have kabobs which are quite flavorful but they do have a nice kick to them so be aware if you can't handle spicy! The chicken tikka salad was just ok but regardless we will be back. This place is great, a real hole in the wall. It is hard to find good food around me in Bergen County, and I think I just found one. This place is take out only, which really isn't a bad thing, but it would be cool if there was a spot to sit. I am not going to lie, when I walked in I though it was going to be just ok, but I was wrong, the lamb Kathi roll was awesome. The lamb was seasoned perfectly, and the roll was huge. The American Chopsuey had just the right level of spice, while the Hakka noodles were cooked to perfection - with the smokey wok flavor. Had high expectations as per the rating but fell a little short. We were thinking of catering from this place for a party a decided to try it before hand - glad we did. First things that were good: 1. Service is fast and food is ready in 20 mins when they said it would be. 2. Paneer Tikka Masala was delicious. Portions are a just right. It is good for one person so I should not be greedy and expect more ;). With other Indian restaurants you have left over - not with this. Maybe it was that good that I ate the entire portion 3. Option to substitute Tofu which is nice. Things that could be better: 1. Kathi Rolls seemed a bit dry. Felt like I was eating a wrap instead of indian roll. Maybe they are trying to make it healthy version. 2. Paneer in the roll was dry and no suaces were added. Would have liked some green chutney (cilantro sauce) to compliment it. 3. I can't say enough great things about this place. When they were down the street, the food was great and they always serviced their customers with a smile. Even during COVID's worse restrictions everyone waited outside in lines around the corner. Now they have a GORGEOUS little place to wait for this delicious food! We sat by the crystal fireplace and we're served Chai tea and our food was ready in no time. I always get the simosa, tiki masala and aloo Gobi but everything is phenomenal. Ordered food for a bunch of the girls at the office for lunch. A majority of one of the entrees spilled out into the delivery bag and they forgot a whole entree. We called to get the issue resolved. We were rudely told that the containers are weak and this happens sometimes. And that the missing entree was never ordered.
