Oh my. What a nifty place. Great decor, great plane watching with a wonderful background vista while you eat. Clean as a whistle. Great prices. And - wow - what great food. Handmade 5-ounce burger patties?! Homemade potato salad?! _And_ a side?! For a smashing price, too. Every bit of it was perfectly cooked and garnished. And everything was done by one person working - and done well. I note that some reviews mention service issues - my experience was that the woman (Chris? - I think that's what I overheard some regulars calling her) working there was an absolute peach. She couldn't have been nicer or more friendly to me when I ordered and paid, when she delivered the food or when she came by to check on me and later to bus my table. And I was a hot mess, having just rolled in from hours at the nearby city shooting range park. She just couldn't have done anything to make it a better experience - wonderful lady. The best airport cafe in the US. Great prices and great views. We stop here every time we are at double Eagle

Wow! The food was amazing! From the fries and onion rings to a side of sesame "Mac" salad to both of our sandwiches. I got the Mikey sandwich. Perfectly cooked bacon on the grilled cheese sourdough. The place was clean with a fun aviation decor. I highly suggest eating here while watching planes taking off and landing. What a view! Chris ( the chef) custom made me a chicken teriyaki chicken sandwich that was probably the best I have ever had! Edamame side with noodles was something I have never had before and will probably crave until I can get it again. Onion rings were amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough. read more

I've eaten here a few times after flying in. The food was middle of the road, prices are decent, however the service and friendliness was an all time low. We asked her opinion on a menu item and she responded that it was a stupid question. Probably won't be coming back here in the future since all three times we've been here, the owner/chef has been unpleasant to deal with. read more

We were excited to try this place but arrived with 2 well behaved kids that were too loud for the cook and lady at the counter as they harassed us about keeping the kids quiet for people taking a test next door. I'm a professional and have taken plenty of exams and it's not that hard to ignore minor noise a few doors down and its idiotic to have people who need quiet right next to a restaurant. Further, they didn't even have the doors closed! I've never been treated so terribly in a restaurant. The cook was a total jerk to us and after explaining they are just kids that I cannot shut off he would not quit harassing us so we walked out. Never have we been treated like this especially in an FBO where folks are pretty friendly. We won't be back. read more

This is a hidden treasure. Food is always good and you can't beat the value you get for your money. The chef (Curtis) always has daily specials in addition to his tried and true menu. Come hungry because you will leave full and satisfied. The café overlooks the airport and you can see many different aircraft coming and going including military aircraft.
