I moved from my chair at the end of the table to the end of the "booth" which helped some. Our party of 5 ordered appetizers, sides, mains, drinks & desserts and everyone liked their food EXCEPT the truffled risotto. It was too salty for me (though not everyone) but it was unanimously agreed that the rice was not done. Hard rice in a risotto is unacceptable. Very decent spot. For dinner , you may need a reservation. We actually had to wait a pretty long time even with a reservation. There's a dessert trolly that is fun to see. Desserts come in cups. Sea bass is great. But I would recommend getting it with sauce on the side since it tends to be too sweet or overpowering for the fish. Ambiance is trendy / romantic. Seasons 52 had quite the unexpected and disappointing surprise for us this Thanksgiving. It was one of the few, if not only place in town serving a Thanksgiving dinner and hence we came with high expectations. Roasted turkey and all of the traditional sides sounded wonderful enough. But then, there was only dark meat. "It's all that's left" we were told. Let me tell you, for anyone with refined palate not liking dark meat and looking forward to white, this, with all due respect for tradition, ruined one of the most important evenings of the year. And dare I ask, was there ever prime meat available that evening or did we all fall victim to profit- hungry exploitation of Thanksgiving with a ton of chopped up dark meat that was nothing to write home about? If one table was disappointed, there likely were many others. Our waitress was dismissive and barley took time to wait for alternative orders; darted off once she realized the conundrum. Seasons 52 is part of a chain and it's neither fine dining nor a Denny's, atmosphere is somewhere in the middle; not a place we would have chosen naturally to celebrate the occasion had it not been for the advertised turkey feast, which should have come with a disclaimer. read more

We went to Seasons 52 for our anniversary and they were so kind to make it special! They put flowers, candles, a sign and a note from the staff on our table ready for our arrival. We had a reservation and were seating promptly. The food was excellent, I was surprised by how large the menu was! The steaks were well cooked, Mac and cheese was decadent and had a nice crunch from the breadcrumbs. Lobster was cool, I think I just prefer lobster from home it's hard to justify the price point but that's a me issue! Chicken was soooo moist and flavorful! They also gave us a dessert on the house for our anniversary and allowed us to choose from an array of minis- such a cute display and the perfect little treat after a huge meal. Every time I've driven through the Coronado mall I've seen this place. I was always curious but never bold enough to walk in. It felt more like gambling at the casino except it was with food. Not sure what I was looking at price wise but I have a funny feeling this was one of those fancy food places. Today with a group of colleges I found myself here out of a unanimous vote. My longhorn suggestion sadly lost in a landslide. My fate was sealed. As I approached the entrance I found myself looking around at the sky wondering if that was rain I felt on my arms or someone saliva. Turns out it was the misters in the patio. I thought how lovely then I quickly veered for the entrance. We were seated almost immediately. I figured we're off to a great start. As soon as I looked at the menu I admit I panicked. As I started reading the descriptions I found myself questioning the ingredients. For lack of better words it was too rich for my taste. They ordered a flatbread to start off and I settled for the tacos. I figured what could probably go wrong? I mean this is New Mexico. The flatbread was rather tasty. I never thought about corn in what felt like I was cheating on a pizza would be that good! I really enjoyed it. The tacos though felt like when you make a bet on a horse at the racetrack and you watch them have that first leap then painfully watch them cross dead last on that finish line. Then you find out your car got towed in the parking lot like a swift kick in the gut. It was a train wreck of tough meat, lack of flavor and guacamole that was so bland it looked better than it tasted. I knew then I should've with the tenderloin salad one of my colleagues had ordered. The most we saw our waiter was when they took our order and brought the food. None of our drinks were replenished the entire time we were at the table. To top it off we waited a really long time for the staff to bring the check at the end. I know we got in during the lunch rush but the service was really disappointing. I'd give this place more than 5 stars if I could. 4 of us had dinner here and everything was prepared perfectly and it was all delicious! I had the Norway salmon & green beans with a crab cake. The salmon was fresh and it and the green beans were cooked perfectly. And the crab cake was one of, if not the, best I've ever had. My SO tried it too and her reaction was the same! She had the tenderloin salad. Perfectly prepared delicious beef on crisp fresh greens. Our friends both had the plank salmon and expressed the same thing. Exceptionally good! We arrived & the lovely modern place was packed. (Apparently we're not the only ones seeking escape from chillies.) There were two comfortable seats available at the inviting bar so we gave up our reservation to sit there as is often our preference. Nate, the smiling bartender quickly arrived with a friendly greeting & made us awesome, fabulous martinis. We ordered the delightful artichoke appetizer as we settled in. We shared the meatballs as an appetizer and then I had the Philly cheesesteak flatbread for dinner. Both were delicious! Service was quick and friendly, the wine was great, and the atmosphere was cozy and felt upscale. There were so many things on the menu that sounded good I wished I could have come back again. First time at Seasons 52. The restaurant is beautiful with an open kitchen. Plenty of staff to seat you and take your order. The menu is not too big and has something for everyone as it changes based on the season. Our party enjoyed sharing a Caesar salad and tortilla soup to start. One guest also had a watermelon margarita which came with enough in the shaker for two drinks. Our entrees included the cedar plank salmon, flatbread pizza, and shrimp and grits. We also got a grilled lamb entree to go for a friend. The salmon was a very large portion with green beans and potatoes. The flatbread was cut into eight smaller pieces and crispy. What I liked about the shrimp and grits was the char from the wood burning grill and eight medium/large shrimp. What I did not care for were the large diced tomatoes mixed with chorizo sausage over the grits. The grits were kind of lost and covered in this odd "sauce". The taste was good but not the kind of traditional shrimp and grits that I've had in the south. Overall, a really good experience and we will come back. Also, they offer approximately eight mini desserts served in small glass cups. The three we tried were delicious and only $4 each. One of the better restaurants in Albuquerque as far as I'm concerned. This was my first time in New Mexico so, full disclosure, my family and I did not turn out to be huge fans of New Mexico cuisine. We really like ols-school Mexican food. Seasons 52 has a menu that is fresh and tasty wiht good selection. Also, coming from LA, it was refreshing to see smal desserts on the menu for $5, as all we really ever want for dessert is a small bite. We shared one dessert between the 3 of us. Most restaurants of this caliber offer a bread basket after you order the meal. Not here. We had to sit about 15 minutes before our order was taken, and another 20 before the food arrived. Bread would have been nice. My rotisserie half chicken was meaty and tasty, though the wild rice didn't have much flavor. My wife's geocchi was cold in the center. I managed to take a photo this visit l, but only of a small piece left on my plate. I came at 845pm and suspect that the cooks were busy cleaning instead of paying attention to the food on the grill. But the other incident where the steak came out nearly burned wasn't a "jonny come lately scenario." I arrived at 6pm for that one. We thought we would change it up and sit at the bar since none of our favorite servers (Samantha, Faith and Joan) were working the floor. At the bar, we sat next to a nice lady who graciously allowed us to engage in delightful conversation with her while she sipped a beverage and waited for her colleagues from out of town to arrive. My husband and I ordered a few cocktails and a wine before ordering dinner. At some point I realized there was a check for our recent tab sitting in front of us...what? Where did this check come from? No one informed us of this or said anything about it, and we were not finished eating our meal. No desserts? No after dinner coffee? We felt totally rushed and quite frankly very disrespected. I asked the woman who was serving us at the bar what was up with the early check when we clearly weren't finishing dining. She said "Oh, this is a standard practice that just got implemented..." To confirm, I asked my newly acquainted fellow diner, sitting next to me at the bar for at least an hour, if she received a bill during her time sitting. She said "Nooooooo, not at all..."and she gave a look of "Wow, that's funny, why did they do that to you guys??" At that point, we were done. My husband paid the check. As we walked out towards the host area, my husband and I asked the host about this new "protocol" at the bar. The host said she was not aware of this protocol but that she would flag down the GM on the floor. The GM said that it was a standard practice that they typically do at the bar: run the check to show the ongoing tab as you go thru your dining evening. But the check didn't include one of the drinks we ordered, so the ongoing tab hadn't been updated. This felt more like being rushed out the door. But wait, I thought we were *dining* at Seasons 52, not just drinking at some bar like the Bourbon House or the Tatted Bee???? If you are going to do that just suck it up and ask for a credit card and run a tab and call it a day? This put a horrible dent in the start of our work week. We came to Seasons 52 for 2 birthdays on a Saturday night with a reservation. We were seated right away. We had a party of 8 (6 adults 2 kids). We were seated at a half booth, which helped to keep the kids coming contained. Iykyk. The ambiance was romantic, dimly lit, and had average to loud noise. We can still hear each other talk. Our server was attentive and gave us our drinks promptly, but we did have to remind her the next time she came back about straws. I ordered our food with the kids. I happened to only order starters and sides bc we were pretty hungry. Our food came pretty much all at once. The kids loved their Mac n Cheese (without panko) and subbed for broccolini, that they wanted another serving. (I thought they'd share the one lol). As per the receipt, you can see what we all ordered. I'll mention what I had actually eaten. I ordered the starter Philly Cheese Steak Flatbread and Sides: Mac n Cheese (with panko), Caramelized Brussel Sprouts, Yukon Mashed Potatoes and Truffle Risotto. I think we enjoyed the flatbread, although, the steak was a bit tough bc there were big pieces, and the crust was a bit hard and crunchy. Our sides were yummy, but I felt like the risotto was a tad underdone. I've had it when it's perfectly al dente and tender. But I didn't think it was bad enough to exchange it for another one. The mac n cheese was good, with gooey cheese sauce and a little crunch from the panko. I love broccolini, so I took a few bites from the kids. I know it's for the kids, but it would be great if they charred it on the pan or grill a little. The Brussel sprouts weren't as crispy as I'd liked compared to other times I've had it. The flavor was good though, love balsamic glaze. The mash potatoes presentation isn't like the online pictures, but you get 2 scoops lol I also tried a bite of the Lump crab cake, always so flaky and tender wih real crab meat. It's a must-try with the charred lemon and aoli. I had a bite of the pork chop and it was tender and flavorful, cooked medium perfectly. I will say, Seasons 52 is great for simple ingredients cooked perfectly, with simple seasonings. Nothing really wows you. Just they're somewhat consistent with their food, and they make sure it comes out hot. (Personal preference, it could use more spices. I added black pepper to almost everything.) Everything is priced accordingly, but in hindsight, it's crazy we paid $7 for mashed potatoes. I should have planned better, like sub a side for a Lobster tail (which I've had in the past, it's small but the charred tail tasted so good.) I just totally forgot. But nevertheless, we were full and took home leftovers at least. My SO had 2 glasses of 9oz house Pinot Noir (which I surprisingly liked even though it was really dry) and a shot of espresso. I had pineapple juice, which I finished, but still wonder if it included refills. I forgot to ask. Our favorite part was the near the end! The desserts! I love that Seasons 52 gives a complimentary dessert for your bday! I asked about ice cream, but the server said they don't normally carry it, but she'd check. She came through with ice cream, and even accompanied them with the minis we ordered! The ice cream was more like a soft serve and as added bonus, added cookie crunch with it too! It was so yummy. We devoured our mini desserts. I always get the Raspberry Cheesecake Cannoli, I love the sweet and tartness of the fruit. Overall, we were there exactly 2 hrs! It was a lovely stress free experience. We have eaten at Seasons 52 multiple times. We have done both sit down and takeout. The food is always cooked properly and delicious. Even when they were very busy the service has been good. Servers are attentive during our sit down meals. We really like their takeout, too, because they separate items. Their method keeps cold items cold and hot items hot, as well as ensuring wet items are separate from dry items. A little pricey, but worth the money. read more

Came here for new years! We made a reservation and were seated promptly. The restaurant is large. Has a good ambiance at night, family friendly but also great for a date night. They have the option to sit at the bar which is also large and really cool and modern. Our server was very friendly and attentive. They have options for wines, beers and mixed drinks. We ordered a Mojito and it was very good. For appetizer we ordered the mac and cheese as appetizer (not pictured) but honestly was underwhelming. It was quite dry and not as cheesy as we hoped. For main course we got the filet mignon and the pork chop, both phenomenal. Also both cooked to perfection. Seasonings, flavor and portions were great. The evening started off on a bit of a sour note. I'd made the reservation online and requested an extra nice table because we were treating my in-laws while they were in town. I figured the restaurant would have no trouble accommodating this request, since we were coming in early (5:00 on a Saturday). Unfortunately, we were sat all the way in the back, in the table closest to the kitchen and the servers' computer... Servers were cutting the very corner where we sat to get to/from their plates and tickets, so we were subject to not only the kitchen clamor but also the back-and-forth between servers. Not what I had in mind when I asked for a nice table...especially considering the restaurant was still mostly empty when we were sat. Seasons 52, what's the point of inviting reservations to include special requests if those comments aren't read and considered? Luckily, the food made up for our table. I got the lamb, and it was cooked perfectly. Read several reviews where this dish was hit/miss, but I was delighted by the quantity and quality. Would go back just for this dish! Husband got the oven-baked gnocchi with a side of grilled chicken, and he was very happy. Mother and father-in-law had a few special requests for their entrees, and our server was able to accommodate most of them save for two snafus (left mushrooms on her filet, but removed cabbage from his pork - should've been reverse). We loved all the desserts (don't sleep on the seasonal pumpkin!), and I hope to return for a HH at the bar, taste some of the flatbreads we saw walking by that looked so delicious. read more
