Here for the Steelers Game (we heard it's a Steelers Bar on the weekend-yup, sure is!) Feels like home. ------- Yes, my Yelpy Fam, I'm a Steelers Girl. I married into it, but, really? I *do* look good in the Black and Gold. Anyways.... ------- It's LOUD during the game. Whoever's manning the DJ booth is rocking it out during the commercials of our game. Doing a good job- but LOUD. There are about 10,000 TVs in this place. Every table has their own, all the wall space is covered with them. Plenty of seating on a rainy Sunday. Couldn't have asked for a better spot to watch a game. Ordered a. App (since we had lunch not too long ago) and a few drinks. We went for the pickle spears- they won't disappoint. The serving size is totally shareable (like, for four, the two of us made a meal out of them). Breading was just the right amount and had a great spice to them. Served HOT. Has the WMDs a little later (jalapeño boats with cream cheese, pulled pork, bbq sauce, cheese and bacon). There's good flavor here, but they could use a bit heavier portion of the pork to really bring out the 'umph' in them. My Bloody Mary left much to be desired. (I asked for no shrimp and needed up with no garnish at all. Womp womp). The red white and blue colada was a saving grace: it tases like a snow cone at the ballgame when you were a little kid. Yum! We went on a Saturday night. You'd think it was overly packed worth the fight on but no. The service was quick and pleasant. Our signature drinks were quite good, one was overly weak but management promptly corrected it saying they agreed didn't look proper. The atmosphere was electric, clean and well lit. Management was very attentive to everything throughout the night. I would definitely go back and take others to enjoy this place. If you're with friends or on a first date and like the Sports bar feel then I highly recommend this Bombshells. read more

Place is actually really nice inside. Lots of TVs and overall you can tell they put a lot of money into the place. But its basically another version of Hooters / Twin Peaks / Chula's. They have some expensive specialty drinks using cheap ingredients. Beer selection sucks. The menu looks like you could be at Chili's. Place had a bathroom attendant on a Sunday night. Not sure if they are really there to make sure no one steals the faucets or tag the walls. I find this annoying in such casual places. Can't wash your hands without feeling obligated to give someone a dollar. I would stick with one of the other places I mentioned. Shame because it really is nice inside. read more

The food wasn't bad. We both had hamburgers that were fresh but not too impressed by the selection (may be just me though, but, eh). When we walked in, I immediately noticed how completely empty the place was. There was only one other set of customers and the seven hostesses were all hanging out at one table. When the food came, my hamburger was missing items and I waited for our waitress to come back and check on us. Finally, after about five minutes and my fiancé finishing half his meal, I got up to find our server. I've been to multiple bombshells around the Houston area and service is always subpar but honestly this isn't fine dining so what do you expect , BUT this location hands down has some genuine great service. Our bartender Niza was on point even with it being busy and all , and even management was walking around making sure things were good. They deserve no stars. We (4 people) came in and sat down for almost 30 minutes and no server came so we told the hostess at the host stand and a host walked back to the table with me and took our drink order and took our card to open a tab. She came back with a water and said your server will bring your drinks. We then sat for another 15 mins at this point we decided to leave because we were hungry. When we went to the host stand to get our card they had to go hunt it down for another 5 minutes. Needless to say we waisted 45 minutes of our evening and left hungry. Horrible Service read more

OK you guys so I didn't realize that this place was catered towards gentleman. It's like Hooters but military outfit. I felt sorry for the girls because they were all super freaking skinny and look like they needed a cheeseburger poor Things.. being the only women in the restaurant besides the waitresses with their bottoms hanging out, was a little bit uncomfortable. All that aside. We ordered the spicy Southwest eggrolls and they were really delicious. Also ordered a Caesar salad which had a little bit too much dressing on it. If you order one you might want to ask for light dressing. The shrimp tacos were spicy and sweet enjoyed them but got a bit of heartburn afterwards LOL also had a pinup salad which had blue cheese crumbles pecans cranberries artichoke hearts very delicious enjoyed it immensely. Our waitress was nice but as we were leaving here and the manager we're standing at the front while she was doing her check out and no one said bye thank you have a nice day just left a bad taste in my mouth.. a little courtesy goes a long way if you ask me... read more

The better: tons of tvs, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, individual tvs for booths in back area, decent variety of slightly above average bar fare, good spinach artichoke dip, fried okra, captain crunch chicken strips The lesser: Quesadilla just meh. So. far. Away. Seems like a lot of parking in a big shared lot, but it gets taken pretty fast. Watch for signs from the neighboring businesses designating parking spots. Observations: if you live nearby, it's a great game/fight watching option. Some reviewers mentioned service, but we didn't have any issues. Even though I was the lone woman in 2 tables of men, our server may have even attended to me the most. I have been a long term customer there but after these last TWO horrible experiences, I'll never return again. I had a really low expectation going in based on all the reviews I read, but it was actually a pretty good experience. I think a big part of it was that we went pretty late (9pm) on a Tuesday and the fact that we got a good waitress. They were not very busy (maybe 5 other tables). We ordered loaded fries, a burger and some wings. The buffalo sauce was disgusting to me. It tasted like Tabasco sauce and lemons or something strange. I was really annoyed at being charged for the extra sauce... The butter and garlic wings were good. It wasn't saucy, but a dry rub I think, I could taste the butter and it wasn't super greasy like garlic parmesan wings often are. The loaded fries were decent, but a bit overpriced in my opinion. Now I read some pretty bad reviews about wait time and service, but we did not experience this at all. The appetizer was there within 10 minutes, brought by what looked to be the manager. He asked us if we wanted extra plates as well and within a minute, our waitress brought it. The waitress was super nice as well. I regret not getting her name. Our food was brought in a timely manner and she checked in on us twice afterwards. The place itself was clean, had security guards, and had screens everywhere. It was a little loud and we had a hard time having a conversation. Overall, we had no complaints, although I know it might be entirely different if we came during a busier time. After tax and tip, 10wings and a drink came out to $21, which is a bit pricey, but seems typical of sports bars. read more

Not impressed with the service. I came in around 4:20 pm on a Friday because I had a couple hours to kill. The place wasn't really that busy and there were plenty of waitresses walking around. Took more than 10 minutes for a waitress to even show up at my table. Ordered a draft beer and a burger with onion rings. She even repeated 'so you want onion rings instead of fries?' Burger came with fries and she said she thought I wanted onions on my burger and offered to replace it but I passed. Funny because 'The Recruit' burger comes with lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. There was no Mayo on the burger either. I had to order it. All the while the waitress is constantly hanging out at the table across from me chatting with two guys.
