    Big burrito

First off, service was 6/5 amazing! The owner is very friendly and shared his upcoming projects for the menu and restaurant. The son? Was great at taking my order and everything went smoothly. It's maybe a 15 min wait so just dont expect drive thru times! Carne asada burrito- huge burrito! Feeds 2 and could maybe feed 3 so the price makes sense. Ingredients feel fresh and are cooked to order, at least the protein. I added guac and sour cream and sadly I couldn't really taste them. Saw traces of them in the burrito but not worth adding for me. This and lack of salsa were the major reasons for a 4 vs 5. Also felt like the components weren't ratio'd well? A lot of beans in each bite vs meat or rice. The side of chips and salsa is a nice bonus, though the chips were really salty. All that said, the food was good, portions matches price and the experience was very nice. I'll be coming back to try some other versions of their burritos! Check them out if you want a big A** burrito

Bomburrito is the perfect place for that burrito craving in Pismo Beach. The shop is very clean, spacious, and there is an outside patio with umbrellas and heat lamps. The owner Eric was very friendly, and makes all of the burritos and chips fresh to order. He even grilled both sides of our burrito to make sure that it stayed together on our road trip. He also gave us some free stickers. When you think of a large burrito, think even bigger. Then think bigger than that. It was just that big, it could definitely feed at least 2 people. I honestly have never seen a burrito that big. It was juicy, crispy, and the meat very tender and flavorful. Next time I'm road trippin through the area, I will stop for another giant homemade burrito.

Located on Price Street in the heart of Pismo beach. I just know this burrito spot is going to do well! I tried the grilled chicken burrito. The portion was very big for a small sized burrito. The chicken tender and juicy the tortilla grilled to perfection. All the ingredients fresh and delicious. I look forward to trying other menu items.

Was walking by on a Saturday night and saw they were sold out so we decided to check it out on Sunday afternoon because the food had to be good if they were sold out. So glad we did because the food is incredible! The owner was such a cool guy and explained his flavors and how he made the food, service was 10000/10. The carne asada and carnitas were so flavorful. The salsas were equally as delicious and so full of flavor with the perfect amount of heat. The burrito is huge and my boyfriend and I ate half together so definitely share! The patio area has seating and is nice on a sunny day. Please make this your next stop!

Humongous burrito!! Epic Cheese sauce, salsa and chicken quesadilla!

Wow. This place is special. This was our first visit to Pismo and we hit the jackpot with Bomburrito. The owner is passionate about his craft and really makes everything with love. The menu is small - kind of like In n Out but for burritos. Don't come here looking for a taco or a salad. We had to get the Bomburrito per his recommendation and it did not disappoint. The quality came through in every bite. The pork was next level along with the beans, chips and salsa. And the portions are massive - my wife and I split a burrito and still took home almost half. So damn good.

    Small Chile Verde Bomburrito.

I finally tried this new burrito joint. I'm glad I did. I ordered the small Chile Verde burrito. It was huge! I can't imagine what the large looks like. I also had a small chips and salsa. The chips appeared to be freshly made. The red and green salsas were very good. The Chile Verde sauce was slightly spicey and delicious. While I was there, the the staff member (I believe on of the owners) brought out a sample of their Spanish rice. It was also delicious. Next time I'm trying the chicken.

Small/little chili Verde burrito with chips, queso, and salsa.

The space has a cool, modern vibe while still feeling welcoming, and everything was spotless--it honestly looks brand new and very well maintained. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable lingering a bit longer and enjoying your meal. The only small downside for me was that the chips and salsa were served at the same time as the main dishes. I would have preferred to have them brought out earlier as a starter, just to enjoy them before the meal arrived. Overall, it's more than just a quick bite--it's a place we'd gladly come back to for both the food and the inviting environment.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Eric at the door -- and it's always nice when the first person you see makes you feel welcome. He walked us to our table, chatted with us, and even remembered us from 7 months ago, including where we sat! It seems like remembering guests is a theme in this town, and we love that hometown feeling. This visit, I made sure to take photos of the food, and we also left with a bag full of their homemade salsa and hot sauce. I only wish they sold these at grocery stores back home in Los Angeles because we would definitely buy them! Thankfully they ship!!! I asked Melissa for a recommendation between the shredded chicken burrito and the carne asada burrito, and she suggested the carne asada. Note that the parking lot, depending on which day you go, can fill up very quickly. The location is right off of the 101 and easy to find. We checked in and was seated within 10 minutes at a booth that overlooked the beautiful views of the Pismo Beach coast line. Our server, a younger black woman, who told us her nickname was 'TiTi', if I'm not mistaken, was wonderful. Her personality and hospitality was infectious and exceeded 5 stars. She brought us fresh hot corn and flour tortillas with a small cup of brown sugar butter and three different salsas to try. Everything was delicious. We ordered the surf and turf special which was a jumbo shrimp on top of a filet mignon that rested on mash potatoes and a creamy/savory white sauce. We also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. Everything was exceptionally good. My only takeaway would be that I found the food, especially the lobster Mac and cheese to be pretty salty. Definitely excited for my next visit.

We had a reservation for a birthday dinner and arrived about 30 minutes early. We were told we'd be seated closer to our reservation time, which was completely understandable. However, as we waited, we watched several groups (including walk-ins without reservations) get seated before us. Even after our reservation time had passed, we had to check in with the host again before we were finally seated, despite there being plenty of empty tables. The service at the front definitely could have been handled better. The food, on the other hand, was very good with a great variety of options. I loved that they start you off with freshly made tortillas, cinnamon butter, and salsa to share. I ordered the Campechana de Mariscos, which was fresh, generously portioned, and perfect for sharing. We also had the Molcajete, and it was delicious! It came with a great mix of steak, chicken, chorizo, jumbo shrimp, nopal, and cheese. The portion was generous and easily enough for two people. Other dishes we ordered also included the pozole, chicken nachos, and lobster mac and cheese. Everything was delicious as well! The mac and cheese especially. For drinks, I tried the Golden Hour nonalcoholic cocktail, and unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. It tasted like watered-down ginger beer with no carbonation and only the faintest hint of pineapple. It was more on the bitter taste. Overall, this is a great restaurant for the ocean views and flavorful food. The portions are generous, and there's something for everyone on the menu. The only downside was the host service and the unnecessary wait despite having a reservation. I'd still come back for the food and the scenery.

I waited 45 minutes and paid $6 dollars for this piece of crap (will attach a pic) i got the vegetarian taco, which you would think they could at least add some cheese to it for flavor but nope. Also, for a place called "The gril", you would think that the vegetables WOULD actually be grilled, but no, they were not. The rice was dry, and the beans had no flavor. I literally could not eat it and left half of it there. My server felt so bad she insisted on not taking a tip. So because of this crappy company, my server did not get a tip. I would have insisted, but I didn't have cash, and she would not allow me to add a tip to my card charge because she knew I waited 45 minutes for a fu*king vegetable taco ‍ Honestly, I think they screwed up and forgot, because there's no way it should have taken that long, and she knew that....she kind of flinched and grimaced, and she said "I'm sorry, I think they got backed up" and kind of rolled her eyes as if to say, I think they fu*ked up, she even said quietly to me "I think maybe they forgot". This was for the live music event on Friday, 6/19 at Claiborne & Churchill. The music was great, The servers/ wine stewards were amazing, but the food was horrible. At least my taco was. if I ever see La Parilla serving food again anywhere I am, I will not order anything! BLECH. Oh, also I asked for no onions, and they couldn't even get that right. In one of my pictures, you will see onions that I pulled aside on the plate. I could have pulled aside more, but I was wolfing down what I could after waiting 45 miinutes for a frigging shit*y vegetarian taco that was crap when I got finally got it. NOT worth the wait. No cheese, no sour cream, no guacamole....just dry rice, flavorless beans, and a few pieces of bell pepper, plus onions - which I asked to NOT HAVE. What a pathetic, underflavored, overpriced taco. Ironically, I drove by Hannah's tacos food truck earlier, and I should have just bought some tacos from them. They are, I think $3 per taco, and 10 times better than this crap was
