My hubby enjoying his delicious shrimp cocktail.

This is our 4th time coming to this hidden gem walking distance from the pier! We've had the shrimp cocktail, the shrimp tacos, fish tacos, and this time we tried the homemade guacamole and tacos gobernador which were amazing! Of course you can't forget the delicious horchata and cold beer. Has not disappointed we will be back for sure.

Made a pit stop in Pismo Beach for breakfast as we were heading up north and found this cute little gem. The service was excellent and the place was very clean. We ordered breakfast burritos and an order of shrimp ceviche. It didn't disappoint and was delicious. The burritos were big enough to share if you're not that hungry because the portions were a bit large. I wanted a smaller portion so I got the ceviche which hit the spot and was still very filling as well. My only regret is not taking pictures of the food.

Would definitely come back here to try more of their food. My husband and I got several tacos: 1 asada (8/10), 1 lengua (6/10; needed salt and was a little dry), 1 gobernador (8/10), 2 shrimp (8/10), and 2 pulpo (10/10; better than the shrimp gobernador imo; was not as chewy as I thought which was great). We also got a tostada de ceviche de pescado and that was a solid 8/10. For me, it does feel a little cramped to eat in the restaurant since it's really small. Also, It does feel kind of warm in there too during the summer months (I guess there's no AC which I know can be common in these areas). Customer service was great; both ladies that were there (one at the cashier and one serving) were kind and helpful.

Our new go to spot for fish tacos. We really enjoyed the shrimp and the fish ceviche. Fresh, authentic everything we had was so good. Gobernator was cheesy and piping hot, Can't wait to be back to try more!

What can I say? I didn't expect too much from this place but was in the area and I travel weekly for work. These are the best seafood tacos I have had north or south of the border. The Siete mares was amazing too. The service is great too.

We have gone to the Santa Maria location and it is delicious, never disappoints. We can say the same for the pismo location. Located walking distance to pier. Food is soo good! Good portions. They sell menudo on weekends.Friendly service. Limited seating. Will definitely be back.

Shrimp tacos x2; surf and turf x 1, and the one by itself is the gobernador.

Great menudo with hand made tortillas and fish tacos. Love the large variety of bottled salsas on the table. The coffee was so good and rich. It's in the middle of a tourist area, but the prices are reasonably. It is steps from the beach so you can walk off the great meal. Definitely worth stopping in this small family run restaurant.

This is the new Sheriff in town! Totally authentic food and the prices are great! The burritos aren't humongous but the flavor makes up for it. The menudo is flavorful and not greasy or overpowering and it comes with 3 huge homemade corn tortillas. We tried the Pastor, Carnitas, and Asada tacos and the bean burritos are amazing...go figure! Great Service and Ambiance!

It's a very small place but I think it's just perfect. As it got busy after we came in during dinner hours. They had birria on their menu but had a note that they ran out. Their food is quite fresh and authentic although it lighter on the seasoning for our taste. The shrimp and squid ceviche was the best. My ceviche didn't come out fast like the others as I think they forgot about my order, but it was loaded. All I can say was it was fresh. Service was good. The price was reasonable but my ceviche was well worth it. You'll need a key for the restroom. The location is next to the yogurt place and 1/2 a block to the view of the water.

Cute and casual restaurant displaying many lovely beach murals and specializing in seafood. DJ was our fantastic server today. He was Friendly & attentive. We ordered 2 buckets with crab & shrimp. Our order came out steamy & tasty very quickly. The buckets include a choice of crab, shrimp, mussels & clams. It includes corn, potatoes, sausage & your seafood choices. They have many seafood options besides the buckets. DJ was so accommodating throughout our meal. We dined early around 5pm, but if you go during peak hours, lunch or dinner you may have a wait. They do not take reservations. They are moderately priced and portions are good. For a fun beach y experience definitely drop in for a meal.

Note that the parking lot, depending on which day you go, can fill up very quickly. The location is right off of the 101 and easy to find. We checked in and was seated within 10 minutes at a booth that overlooked the beautiful views of the Pismo Beach coast line. Our server, a younger black woman, who told us her nickname was 'TiTi', if I'm not mistaken, was wonderful. Her personality and hospitality was infectious and exceeded 5 stars. She brought us fresh hot corn and flour tortillas with a small cup of brown sugar butter and three different salsas to try. Everything was delicious. We ordered the surf and turf special which was a jumbo shrimp on top of a filet mignon that rested on mash potatoes and a creamy/savory white sauce. We also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. Everything was exceptionally good. My only takeaway would be that I found the food, especially the lobster Mac and cheese to be pretty salty. Definitely excited for my next visit.

Catch of the day was sea bass with a few veggies and rice. Definitely not special. The flourless chocolate cake was dry. Overall a very underwhelming dinner. So sad. Probably not going back.

I go to steakhouses almost every time I travel, it's kind of my thing, so I know what a solid experience should look like. We started with the coconut shrimp special, and unfortunately it was undercooked. The shrimp were large and butterflied, but some pieces weren't fully pink inside and still had raw batter, which was a big miss. I also ordered a virgin piña colada with strawberry purée, expecting a blended drink, but it came out over ice and tasted more like a watered-down juice. I don't drink alcohol, so I was really looking forward to something refreshing, and it would've been nice if the server mentioned they don't offer blended drinks. The steak itself was actually not bad--tender, nicely seared, and the sauce on it was really good. That was definitely the highlight. But the sides didn't hold up. The potatoes tasted like they came straight out of a box, and the vegetables were under-seasoned and overcooked. For a place that markets itself as a steakhouse, it just didn't deliver.
