Great service especially at the bar. Nice restaurant that serves pasta and steak and other dishes. The seafood pasta is good with a variety of seafood. Fired asparagus was great also not pictured is the Gorgonzola fries appetizer which is so good. The steak is amazing with compound butter.

Food: Yes again and again to the Brick House Restaurant and Lounge!! The hubby and I are always in search of our next culinary conquest. Ok, its really just me but I found this little hidden gem tucked away in Lodi. I ordered the cheeseburger with fries and a coke. The hubby ordered the chicken sandwich and fries. Hands down one of the best burgers I ever had. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I asked for some jalepenos and added to my burger for a little spice. The patty was thick and juicy. Cant go wrong here. It was so good that a week later I was back and ordered the same thing. As a foodie, of course I tried my husbands chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. It was not dry and it was well seasoned. I'm a southern girl so proper seasoning is key. Ambiance: Loved the ambiance at the Brick House. A cross between Cheers and old school Italian. It was clean, well decorated and nicely located in the charm of downtown Lodi. Service: The service was really good. Both times I went my server was Nathan. He was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. We chatted for quite a while as we arrived shortly after they opened and before the crowd started to arrive. The food arrived quickly and Nathan checked on us often to make sure we were well taken care of. Parking: Parking is not horrible but like in any downtown you may have to walk a block or two. Overall: Excellent menu options for dinner and lunch. The menu is not so varied that they are a jack of all trades and master of none but its just enough for you to find something delicious to hit the spot. The portion sizes are excellent. I mean you saw how big my burger was. Good food, good service means I will be back. Get over here!!!!

First time trying Brick House, & I don't think it'll be the last. I met with some friends here the day after Christmas... Friendly & helpful staff. The food was really good. Ample seating. It was surprisingly quieter than expected considering it's a lounge & it was dinner time. We ordered a Bread Board, which oddly looked significantly different from what other neighboring tables received, but it was still good... especially with the butter. We also got the Gorgonzola Fries & Burrata Bowl... both were really good, def recommend. I wish I got pictures of everyone's food which all looked delicious, but they all loved their orders. I got to try the Gnocci with meat sauce (YUM!). I got the Pesto Seafood Pasta & it was so good! Def recommend if you like seafood. I'll def be back to try the Farmer's Special since they sold out.

I've only eaten here twice, like in the same week because I was happy the first time I tried it, and wanted my boyfriend to try the steak skewers with flat bread. It's so good!!! They serve it as an appetizer but they should make it an entree because I would go there just for that. The sides are all separate but shareable sizes. My first time here, I had the ribeye steak which is my favorite. My family came here to celebrate a birthday party and we were not disappointed! The service was excellent and we even met the owner who came out and introduced himself and checked on us. We all liked what we ordered and will definitely be back for special occasions.

The waitress was so nice and friendly when I asked her what she recommends she recommended almost everything on the menu which is great that means she likes the place as well I also couldn't decide what I wanted off the menu which is why I asked because there was so many great options! She told me I could get small portions of two of the things so I can have more options which is what I went for and I was not disappointed both things were really good! I love the seasonal decor and the layout of the place they had an area for a huge party. Bar seating table seating booth seating and outdoor seating.

Tried the Girl Dinner Special and honestly -- such a vibe! For $29 you get a Caesar salad, truffle fries, pasta of your choice, and your pick of an espresso martini or an Aperol spritz. The portions were super generous and everything hit the spot. The truffle fries were chef's kiss -- crispy, golden, and loaded with flavor. Total standout. We originally went with the espresso martini, but when it came out, it looked a little sad (no foamy top -- my friend's a bartender and clocked it right away). Our server was a total gem and happily swapped it for an Aperol spritz, which ended up being so refreshing and the perfect pairing for the meal. All in all, delicious food, awesome service, and seriously great value. Highly recommend the Girl Dinner if you're looking for something fun, filling, and a little fancy without breaking the bank!

This was my first time eating here but I can tell you it's not gonna be the last! Everything tasted amazing & the service was excellent. We started in the bar for appetizers & drinks & then moved to the dining room for dinner. My husband was very happy to see Pliny the elder on tap! We ordered calamari, meat ravioli w/ meat sauce, linguini & clams, farmer special, & the rack of lamb. All delicious! The farmers special is enough for 2 people! Such a big dish! The ravioli portion size is a little small but they're house made & really tasty. We will definitely be coming back to try that ciopinno they have on Thursdays!

I made reservations online and I'm glad I did because it was pretty busy for a Friday night. i've passed by's place several times and never realized it was a working restaurant. They have one area with bar seating along with their bar and to the right they have restaurant seating. Once we checked in, we were seated right away. Our server came up and gave us some time to review the drink menu as well as the food menu. I had the "I'll have what she's having" as recommended and it was pretty good. It was mild and sweet. we all went in for the prime rib special, which they offer on Fridays and Saturdays. It was a good size portion along with vegetables and your choice of a pasta. I went with the creamy pesto and it was really good. I can't forget to mention the complementary bread, it was soft and delicious with the garlic butter.

Girls Dinner Special - get salad and fries. Choice of pasta ,fresh bread, cocktail of choice

To be honest, I didn't get to spend as much time here as I would've liked as I came here for a quick dinner with friends before going to the movies across the street. Our server was very sweet and understanding/accommodating though and brought out the drinks and food as quickly as possible, so I truly appreciate the good service and recommendations. First of all they have quite a robust menu with plenty of options. I had overheard one of the staff explained to some guests that they had the menu updated to have more à la cart style options as it seems many people like to do that or family style. Plus, they had changed up their specials and the one my friend and I picked was the girls dinner special as it seemed to have the right portion that we needed for our quick dinner. It definitely satisfied as it had a nice balance of a little of everything, including salad and delicious shoestring fries. There's a good number of pasta choices and I definitely wanted to try the fresh pasta that I hear this restaurant is known for. I got the gnocchi with pesto primi sauce which was light and perfectly flavored. Some sauces I've tried can be quite salty. Lastly, the aperol spritz was refreshing, with a light tinge of sweetness. We came on a Tuesday evening, which was not too busy and by 6:30 PM. Had a good number of people in the restaurant. It never got too loud and the restaurant is pretty spacious with lots of seating arrangements. Even though it was a weekday evening, parking can still be a little tricky as there is a small lot next to the building and street parking. However, Lodi does have its free parking garage just a three minute walk from the restaurant. The vibe is pretty casual , modern country style. Would like to give a shout out to the bathroom (lol) as it seems upgraded. I would definitely like to come back to Brick House and try the other menu items on a day that I'm not rushing. Thanks!

The ambiance isn't anything beyond a basic deli without any of the frills or specialty touches. It's just plain and a bit worn. Primarily known for Italian food this is where it apparently shines. We ordered a meatball sandwich to share along with a bag of chips and two drinks. We had ordered a #6 which we were charged for, but didn't really get the supposed complimentary sides. No big deal. The meatball sandwich really didn't figure into that equation anyway. The sandwich made from scratch and warmed nicely with oozing mozzarella cheese was simply delicious. What impressed me most was it was not made with a red tomato sauce but rather a brown sauce. That's something one sees a lot in the Italian influenced communities in and around New Orleans. What's nice is the brown sauce doesn't overwhelm the tastiness of the meatballs which were plump and quite delicious. Have a lot of napkins as it gets messy. Overall it was a good experience. The food was incredibly bland and didn't taste like authentic Italian cuisine at all. The trio plate was especially disappointing. The Alfredo had almost no sauce and absolutely no flavor, and the pesto tasted like it came straight from a jar. Overall, everything was just mediocre and lacked the rich, fresh flavors you'd expect from an Italian restaurant. The service was painfully slow throughout the meal, and to make matters worse, there wasn't any wine, beer, or other alcohol available, which was surprising for an Italian restaurant. The dining room was also uncomfortably hot. It appears they only use wall-mounted air conditioning units, and they weren't keeping up, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. The only reason I'm giving this an extra star is because the green beans served with the chicken Marsala were actually pretty good. Unfortunately, one good side dish wasn't enough to make up for the long wait, bland food, slow service, and uncomfortable atmosphere. I won't be returning.

I was recommended to try the pork schnitzel by my friend and it did not disappoint. I got my sandwich with a side salad. We also ordered the deviled eggs to share. My friend has never had the deviled eggs before and pleasantly surprised and delighted that the eggs were absolutely delicious. They're very smooth, eggs were cooked perfectly and the touch of bacon was just right. It does come with a small helping of mixed greens topped with pickled onions. The pork schnitzel was crispy & crunchy due to the breaded pork loin, came with pickled onions, slaw and the chipotle aioli sauce. The sauce does have a bit of a kick to it but it wasn't too spicy, well, at least for me. My salad was very good too. It was colorful and had an interestingly tangy dressing on it. It paired well with the sandwich. One was spicy and the salad was tangy but refreshing. My friend also ordered the pork schnitzel with beef tallow fries. I tried some of her fries and they were thin but still crispy. Overall the food at West Oak Nosh was so good and delicious! Service was good, prompt and our server was attentive despite being by herself. I think this place is great for the summer to have a drink and eat. Will have to come back for the drinks!

It was our first time visiting from the Bay Area, and it was truly a memorable experience. We ordered the chicken wings and calamari, plus two drinks. Our bartender recommended the Freak Show Cabernet, and it was delicious. I appreciated how attentive the team was: when I accidentally knocked over my drink, the staff quickly and graciously helped clean up, along with a few flowers I bumped in the process. I apologize for the clumsiness on my part. The chef also came out to greet us, which was a wonderful personal touch. Overall, we had an incredible time. If you're looking for great food and warm hospitality, I highly recommend The Exchange. I'll definitely be telling everyone on social media to stop by for a wonderful experience.

We sat inside, where the space features exposed brick, artwork throughout, and very comfortable seating... my partner specifically pointed that out. The layout includes a mix of seating areas, which gives it a more relaxed, layered feel. The bar area, known as the Ghost Lounge, adds a darker, more lounge-like element to the overall atmosphere. Service was excellent. Our server, Lacy, was friendly, attentive, and witty - easily one of the best servers we've had in a while. For drinks, I had a local Oak Farm red wine that was excellent. Others in our group had mimosas, which were well received... especially the grapefruit mimosa, which my partner really enjoyed. For food, there were several highlights. My partner had the chicken and waffles and loved it; I tried some and would agree it was very good. Another person in our group ordered the steak breakfast tacos, which came as a set of three. They only ate two, and I had the third and it was delicious and something I would recommend. Another in our group had the eggs Benedict and thought it was excellent. I had the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs. It was okay, but not something I would go out of my way to order again. In terms of value, prices felt consistent with the quality of the food, service, and overall setting. It's not a budget brunch spot, but it feels appropriate for the experience. Overall, it was a really enjoyable Easter brunch with great service, a comfortable and well-designed interior, and several strong menu items. I'd rate it a 4 out of 5, though if half-points were an option, this would land closer to a 4.5. We'd definitely come back.

Wow what a hidden gem! You will not be disappointed!…read moreMy wife and I were thinking about dinner and place was filled on a Saturday night at 5:30. We took a chance and call. With how expensive dining out is these days, it seemed like a great deal. The restaurant itself is very small, with just a few tables and booths, and it's located in a small strip of businesses with street parking nearby. We were served bread and butter while waiting, and the food came out quickly. The $20 special included a salad, chicken scallopini, and molten lava cake for dessert. The salad was actually the highlight--simple mixed greens with blue cheese crumbles and balsamic vinaigrette, but fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, the entrée was a big disappointment. The chicken scallopini was very bland. The lemon white wine sauce helped a little, but not enough to save it. The mashed potatoes tasted like runny boxed potatoes, and the peas and carrots seemed like they came straight from a can. Dessert didn't redeem the meal either. The "molten" lava cake was underwhelming and nothing special. There was also a moment during dinner when a waiter accidentally bumped into my back while walking by. Accidents happen--I completely understand that. What bothered me was that he didn't acknowledge it right away or apologize until I turned around to see who had just smacked my back, and only then did he give a quick "oops, sorry." Maybe their regular menu dishes are fantastic and they cut corners for the $20 special--I don't know. But based on this overall experience, I don't really understand the high reviews, and I won't be back to find out.
