Place is perfect for ambience and service. Everyone was attentive and fast with everything. Food had lots of flavors and the portion size was actually perfect. This place rocks for the prices! Definitely surprised me with how competitive it was.

Caesar salad, full portion before a bite was taken

What do we say. It was the most disappointing food experience we've ever had. Our server was polite, but the food and drinks were absolutely horrendous. To start, their caprese salad is a SINGLE slice of tomato, basil and mozzarella for $15, their Caesar salad is so far from a Caesar, I'm not even sure what I actually ate, let alone a kid size potion with a single piece of romaine (picture to follow). Both drinks we ordered were terrible, but we felt bad sending back two drinks (because our server was actually nice) so we simply sent back the one that was so bad we couldn't get it down. Then, to top it off, the main course was so bad (we ordered Filet), that we didn't even finish either meals, my boyfriend had to slather it in A1 to get the few bites he actually ate down. We should've walked out the second we got the appetizers and saved $180 on garbage. I NEVER write negative reviews, but I was so unhappy, I felt robbed and don't want anyone else to waste their money here when you can walk 50ft across the street to the absolutely incredible Brick House and get your moneys worth.

Apple cake was very good. My husband enjoyed a glass of Bowman Brothers bourbon and I opted for the Key Lime Martini. Delicious

We were staying at the St Elmo Hotel next door so stopped in for drinks/dessert and we were not disappointed. Adam the bartender took great care of us. He made fantastic recommendations and very knowledgeable. We will come back.

Service was great. Unfortunately my Chicken Piccata was served raw and not according to the description. Was very disappointed

The ordering process is simple: grab a menu when you enter, find a seat, and place your order at the counter when you're ready. The staff was professional, polite, and welcoming throughout our visit. The breakfast burrito was outstanding, easily the best one I had during my time in Colorado. It was perfectly prepared, complete with beautiful panini-style grill marks that added both texture and flavor. I was also impressed by the extensive selection of hot sauces, with options to suit just about every taste. In addition to the food, they offer a great selection of local craft beers. Unfortunately, it was only 9:30 in the morning, so I wasn't able to take advantage of that part of the menu! One of the highlights is the large window overlooking the mountains surrounding the town, providing a beautiful backdrop while you dine. This is the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer, and I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

We walked in the door and was warmly greeted by the only guy we saw working there. He was grinding up coffee, which smelled really good! We read the sign that said to take a menu, pick a table, then go to the counter and order your meal. We went to the counter and the friendly guy. Let us smell the copy that he was grinding. We then placed our order for one brisket entrée, and one salmon entrée. Then we asked him about splitting a Caesar, and he said sure. After paying for the meal upfront, he pointed us to the table where we could pick up our napkins, utensils, and get some water. This is a very self service place. That's fine. There was only one other couple in the restaurant that had gotten there before us so they were not busy. About 15 minutes, went by and we wondered if we were ever going to get our Caesar salad. A few minutes later, our food was served to us, including a small Caesar salad that was not split. We quickly mentioned with surprised that oh the salad comes out with the food? Our server smiled and said: enjoy. We eat out quite often and we can rarely think of any time that a salad came out with the meal. It's designed to keep you happy and give you something refreshing to eat while they're back in the kitchen cooking your meal. We figured when they came out to check with us, we would mention that it was too late and could they remove it from our bill. However, the entire time we ate our meal, no one ever came to check on us. The gentleman we ordered from along with a lady chatted the entire time at the counter as we were eating. They only passed by our table after a patron came in looking for something he thought he might've left there earlier. When she came and asked to clear our plates, I asked if that's typical that the salad comes out with the entrées because we no longer want the salad. She said she was sorry that our server didn't ask if we wanted it early or with the meal. Then she took our plates away and left the Caesar salad sitting there. It's really too bad we had such a poor experience as we were planning to come back for breakfast in the morning, based on the reviews. It's funny because on our bill, it's listed as an $11 "starter" Caesar salad. My husband said his brisket was average, a little dry, except when he got a good fatty part. The potatoes and the vegetables were good. My salmon was just slightly overcooked, but very delicious and I really enjoyed the taste of my meal. For us, customer service is as much a part of the experience as the food. Judging by the reviews, this hopefully is a one off.

We also did some shopping in the boutique area where they had a great selection of gifts, candles and hats. Nice spot for a casual lunch, but if you're looking for table service or something fancier, this is not the place. Very much like a cafe with an adjoining boutique and candle factory.
