two glasses of wine and a plate of food

We visited for the first time this afternoon. We really enjoyed the wine pairings with delicious chicken wings and sides! We'll be back for your upcoming events as well.

I had driven by Bonacquisti a handful of times and had seen the sign out front of the intersection that indicated "wine tasting" down the way. So glad that I finally got to see where the magic happens. This past Saturday there was a cute little holiday market set up inside the tasting room, in addition to the wine. It made for a very warm welcome upon walking inside. My husband and I did a tasting, which is a steal at $10 per person. You get to try 6-7 wines, all of which are made in-house. Though I didn't love their Pinot Grigio or the first few reds sampled, their Rosso Di as well as their Cab Franc wines are very good! Beyond tasting, customers can purchase full glasses of wine or carafes to be enjoying inside. Or take a growler of wine to-go. However you prefer to make it an occasion. This would be a cute spot for a ladies day out/bridal shower, since there's a decent amount of space and seating. Plus you can order food and enjoy it with your vino. It's not fancy, but an honest-to-goodness Colorado winery experience.

    The sangria is fantastic!

Come here for the wine tasting and leave with a bottle of sangria! My friend and I found 'winery row' on a google search one day and decided to check out this winery. I loved the décor of the winery- very big bright and colorful artworks hanging along the walls by a local artist. The artist even created the artwork for the wine labels and there's a good story behind every one, just ask! The owner helped us out and shared jokes, stories, and even taught us a few things during our tasting! Its $10 for a tasting of all their wines which ranges from 5-6 wines, depending on what they have. They have a wonderful area to stand at the bar or sit down and relax. They have their own kitchen so you can stay awhile. My absolute favorite was their sangria. It is made with peach concentrate and you can smell and taste it in every sip. I've had other sangrias before that taste overly sugary or watered down and this is made just right, its incredibly refreshing. Its $21 for the growler but you get to keep the growler and its $16 refills after that. Worth every penny. I was also impressed by their wine club. It's free to enroll, you're only required to buy 3 bottles once a quarter (So easy to do). They will throw a wine tasting 'party' for you to come pick up the wine. With the wine bottles around $15-$19 this is too good of a deal to pass up. Wish there was wineries closer to me that have this kind of deal! TIP: Check groupon before you go, we found out about this winery by buying a groupon and its one heck of a deal!

Amazing vibe! Live music and lots of character! Get yourself a glass of red blend and enjoy the music and dancing. Very intimate and friendly environment. The wine is yummy! Get a bottle to share.

    All the award winning wine!

Every Saturday: $5 tasting fee for 5 wines. You can't really go too wrong there. With Italian ancestry, Paul Bonacquisti grew up learning the wine-making craft, but only came to start his own wine company six years ago. Thank goodness he did! The Carmenere is my personal fave: a red blend similar to a Cab Sav but on the smoother side. But what is bold is the Cabernet and it is downright delightful. I urge anyone looking to sip some wine in a comfortable environment to pay a visit to locally owned and operated, Bonaquisti. If it's not for the award winning wine they have accumulated over the years, then it's for the community support this business exudes. Also - when visiting, check into their membership program. It's a pretty sweet deal with a lot wine education and community engagement through tasting events.

This is a way cool place, if you like wine. They make their own wine and they have a good selection of different wines. If you are lucky, you could go there during a tasting or during some event. I was there for their opening and they had lots of excellent food that was complemented by the different wines. Tasting Room Hours Monday - Saturday 11am - 5pm Sunday Noon - 4pm Yes, you read that right. Sunday!!! I've gotten wine there on Sunday's before and its a great feeling to purchase alcohol on a Sunday. I recommend their White Merlot, however, the last time I was there they were out of it and they weren't going to have any more this year. If you like wine then check this place out, I think you'll be happy you did.

Bonacquisti was recommended to me by a friend who is a member, and a gang of us descended on them on a Friday Night during their live music event- UNCORKED! Most of us paid the $10 member fee for a 6-wine tasting (since our member friend was present). Favorites included the Carmenere and the Sangiovese in the reds, the Pinot Grigio in the whites, and the fizzy Muscato in the pinks... Yum! Bonacquisti tasting and tap room is a great spot for tastings and tours of the wine-production area, as well a a great place to enjoy live music and dancing! Friday Nights Uncorked is a weekly live music event that provides the best occasion to enjoy friends, wine, and music all at once! Amazing! Plus, they have tons of amazing art by Daniel Luna, who designs all of their labels. Get in there! Have some wine!

One of my favorite spots in my neighborhood! Everyone is friendly, the wines are tasty, live music on Fridays is on point and the wine club is so worth it!

    Lee S.

I was so impressed with myself when I found this place- came to find out they have been around for 10 years-- so clearly I have been living in a hole. Very cute place- love all the art on the walls. They do live music on Friday nights and I cant wait to check it out. 10$ to taste 5 wines seemed like a lot when other wineries is $10 for all their wine- which is close to 10 wines. Not a big deal cause all their wine was great. I loved that they had wine on tap- I thought that was genius and so great you can get a growler to take home!

We were almost out of luck, but thankfully one reservation did not show, so after a short wait, they seated us right by the stage. All of the staff were friendly and helped us get settled in, even offering a dog water bowl and little dog yoga mats so they would be comfy on the gravel. We ordered a flight - 6 tastes for $15, highly recommend and we treated ourselves to a post-hike baked brie that was perfect. We found out that if you order three bottles of wine to take home your tasting is free, so naturally... :) I will call ahead and make a reservation next time so we can be seated right by the river. Although I had waited this long to write about the place, everything I experienced back then still lingers in my brain. Hence, I am taking the time to write about it. I was going to utilize the "stand up bar tasting of however many wines you can sample" at the price of $20. Unfortunately, the bar was full for that. I was thus kindly asked to get a table and do a flight at the price of $10. What? Only $10? Sure, why not!?!? My waiter (young man in his 20's) was most welcoming and kind-hearted. I forgot his name after the passing of the time. His attentiveness was top-notch. After getting a few suggestions and advice from my wonderful waiter, I went with Roussanne and Orange Muscat as white, Malbec, Carignon and Cabernet Sauvignon as red for my wine flight. Let's not forget to mention. Balistreri's wines are all natural Colorado wines with no sulfites, no additives and are not filtered or fined. What's not to like about all that criteria that they can offer. For food, I got the cheese board ($18 as of May 2026.) I looked at other menu items and the prices for them were quite reasonable despite the fact that this place emits very high-end restaurant feel. After all, this is a family-run business that cares about serving people in the community. I feel that this is their way to say thank you to those who support them. In a neighborhood where three different interstates intertwine, unless someone told you about it, you wouldn't think such a place existed in this North Washington neighborhood. I discovered this place while ago. I am not sure why I had waited this long to visit and see it for myself. Better late than never. Palisade is a gem in the western Colorado but it's at least 4-hour drive from Denver. If you want to save some time and spend some quality time at a winery in a beautiful setting, Balistreri is within your reach.

I hate paying $100 for servers to act condescending and trite over something as easy as basic customer service. Refused to place my hummus order with my wine bottle "to go" order unless I sat down and had it ordered by another staff member. Soooo I took my single glass of wine and had to find a host member to get me a table, go sit and wait 20 minutes just to place an order of hummus. Then another 20 for it to arrive. I just wanted to pop in for a glass of wine and small plate of hummus as snack to go w the wine. Plenty of servers. No big crowds or big rush, the bar was empty and mind you the venue is very small. So not sure what the big deal was. I think owners and management need to educate the newer younger staff on REAL customer service and how to make things work for the customer not the other way around. Like why was this bartender making something so simple so difficult. Also, at the end of my visit I didn't appreciate being startled and rudely interrupted 2x by a very young waitress that is clearly new and obviously has zero customer service skills or experience serving people. Would have been 1 Star today for Creekside if it weren't for Ryker. He should be the example and litmus for servers.

The menu however, was great for those who were seeking carbs, but left something to be desired if you were seeking any protein options. Then when he did acknowledge me and I stated I would sit at the bar, it took several minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. The staff was busy speaking to each other and doing side work. Once I was acknowledged, things started getting a little better. When I arrived during breakfast/brunch, I was informed they were in the middle of a menu change, so my choices were limited. Breakfast items include bacon and burritos. I started off with a charcuterie board (though I had asked for a fromage board). This was not only because I wanted some tasty cheese, but I was trying to kill time until the lunch/dinner menu started. The board was a great board, two different meats, three cheeses, a loaf of bread, some nuts and jellies. But it was 40 dollars! I had a few small plates (which was still a lot of food). I had a melon and cucumber salad, which was a good palate cleanser. I also had the roasted king mushrooms, which were underwhelming with no seasoning, and they were a little chewy. The best thing was the wild boar meatballs, which were seasoned really well and in a savory, delicious marinara sauce. All the cocktails were fruity (but not sweet) and refreshing. I had one that was carrot based (Kiss my Carrot with tequila, cointreau, carrot, orange, and ginger), one that had pineapple flavor (paper boat with rum, falernum, aperol, lemon, pineapple), and the smoky smoke and flower (hibiscus mezcal, cointreau, pama, rose water). This spot is a winery, so they have a large wine list. They have handhelds like burgers and flatbreads. Starters like artichoke dip and bruschetta. Some of the current entrees, which might change, are hanger steak, chilean salmon, cauliflower steak. They had a gnocchi dish I was interested in, but it's already been removed from the menu. The restaurant is classy and just like a winery is expected to be. The food is pretty good. But the service was really subpar.
