two glasses of wine and a plate of food

We visited for the first time this afternoon. We really enjoyed the wine pairings with delicious chicken wings and sides! We'll be back for your upcoming events as well.

I had driven by Bonacquisti a handful of times and had seen the sign out front of the intersection that indicated "wine tasting" down the way. So glad that I finally got to see where the magic happens. This past Saturday there was a cute little holiday market set up inside the tasting room, in addition to the wine. It made for a very warm welcome upon walking inside. My husband and I did a tasting, which is a steal at $10 per person. You get to try 6-7 wines, all of which are made in-house. Though I didn't love their Pinot Grigio or the first few reds sampled, their Rosso Di as well as their Cab Franc wines are very good! Beyond tasting, customers can purchase full glasses of wine or carafes to be enjoying inside. Or take a growler of wine to-go. However you prefer to make it an occasion. This would be a cute spot for a ladies day out/bridal shower, since there's a decent amount of space and seating. Plus you can order food and enjoy it with your vino. It's not fancy, but an honest-to-goodness Colorado winery experience.

    The sangria is fantastic!

Come here for the wine tasting and leave with a bottle of sangria! My friend and I found 'winery row' on a google search one day and decided to check out this winery. I loved the décor of the winery- very big bright and colorful artworks hanging along the walls by a local artist. The artist even created the artwork for the wine labels and there's a good story behind every one, just ask! The owner helped us out and shared jokes, stories, and even taught us a few things during our tasting! Its $10 for a tasting of all their wines which ranges from 5-6 wines, depending on what they have. They have a wonderful area to stand at the bar or sit down and relax. They have their own kitchen so you can stay awhile. My absolute favorite was their sangria. It is made with peach concentrate and you can smell and taste it in every sip. I've had other sangrias before that taste overly sugary or watered down and this is made just right, its incredibly refreshing. Its $21 for the growler but you get to keep the growler and its $16 refills after that. Worth every penny. I was also impressed by their wine club. It's free to enroll, you're only required to buy 3 bottles once a quarter (So easy to do). They will throw a wine tasting 'party' for you to come pick up the wine. With the wine bottles around $15-$19 this is too good of a deal to pass up. Wish there was wineries closer to me that have this kind of deal! TIP: Check groupon before you go, we found out about this winery by buying a groupon and its one heck of a deal!

Amazing vibe! Live music and lots of character! Get yourself a glass of red blend and enjoy the music and dancing. Very intimate and friendly environment. The wine is yummy! Get a bottle to share.

    All the award winning wine!

Every Saturday: $5 tasting fee for 5 wines. You can't really go too wrong there. With Italian ancestry, Paul Bonacquisti grew up learning the wine-making craft, but only came to start his own wine company six years ago. Thank goodness he did! The Carmenere is my personal fave: a red blend similar to a Cab Sav but on the smoother side. But what is bold is the Cabernet and it is downright delightful. I urge anyone looking to sip some wine in a comfortable environment to pay a visit to locally owned and operated, Bonaquisti. If it's not for the award winning wine they have accumulated over the years, then it's for the community support this business exudes. Also - when visiting, check into their membership program. It's a pretty sweet deal with a lot wine education and community engagement through tasting events.

This is a way cool place, if you like wine. They make their own wine and they have a good selection of different wines. If you are lucky, you could go there during a tasting or during some event. I was there for their opening and they had lots of excellent food that was complemented by the different wines. Tasting Room Hours Monday - Saturday 11am - 5pm Sunday Noon - 4pm Yes, you read that right. Sunday!!! I've gotten wine there on Sunday's before and its a great feeling to purchase alcohol on a Sunday. I recommend their White Merlot, however, the last time I was there they were out of it and they weren't going to have any more this year. If you like wine then check this place out, I think you'll be happy you did.

One of my favorite spots in my neighborhood! Everyone is friendly, the wines are tasty, live music on Fridays is on point and the wine club is so worth it!

    Alice G.

Bonacquisti was recommended to me by a friend who is a member, and a gang of us descended on them on a Friday Night during their live music event- UNCORKED! Most of us paid the $10 member fee for a 6-wine tasting (since our member friend was present). Favorites included the Carmenere and the Sangiovese in the reds, the Pinot Grigio in the whites, and the fizzy Muscato in the pinks... Yum! Bonacquisti tasting and tap room is a great spot for tastings and tours of the wine-production area, as well a a great place to enjoy live music and dancing! Friday Nights Uncorked is a weekly live music event that provides the best occasion to enjoy friends, wine, and music all at once! Amazing! Plus, they have tons of amazing art by Daniel Luna, who designs all of their labels. Get in there! Have some wine!

I was so impressed with myself when I found this place- came to find out they have been around for 10 years-- so clearly I have been living in a hole. Very cute place- love all the art on the walls. They do live music on Friday nights and I cant wait to check it out. 10$ to taste 5 wines seemed like a lot when other wineries is $10 for all their wine- which is close to 10 wines. Not a big deal cause all their wine was great. I loved that they had wine on tap- I thought that was genius and so great you can get a growler to take home!

Our server was very attentive and helpful with our meal selection. While the biscuit breakfast comes with scrambled eggs they were kind enough to make mine over medium and also extra crispy bacon. The freshly made to order biscuits were so delicious with the butter and jams. We order the chocolate chip cookie skillet and it comes à la mode. Be warned it's HOT! I burned my tongue and it was so worth it. I would recommend asking for a second scoop of ice cream as it felt a little small in comparison to the size of the cookie. But get this dessert! The first thing that grabs you as you're driving through the back, roads of Weld County among farms and ranches is the warmth of this location with trees, a long drive and a small pond. It truly is a picturesque setting and some families were already walking around the pond and nearby grounds taking family photos. We had a small wait for our table, which was not unexpected since had a large group. The drink options were amazing and the bartenders on duty did not disappoint with their preparations. The menu however, was great for those who were seeking carbs, but left something to be desired if you were seeking any protein options. We started with the Charcuterie and Bruschetta Barrata boards along with the Warm Spinach and Artichoke dip. A couple of flatbread pizzas wrapped up the dinner options for us. We were celebrating a birthday and brought a cake in the staff was kind enough to let us keep it in the cooler until it was time to be served. With almost every table filled outdoors and indoors, the staff did a good job of keeping up with our tables needs and balancing the other tables in their respective stations. We did have to seek out our waiter a couple of times to order additional items but they were quite busy. This place is ideal for a light, relaxing meal with drinks and the company of friends. It is not the place to go for those with a hearty appetite as you may be disappointed with the scarcity of options on the menu, but for events in a beautiful setting, you can't go wrong here!

We did the wine tour so we learned a little more about the concept. Started by the owners of Snooze which makes sense about the location. They get the grapes from Italy. If you have the opportunity. Definitely see if you can get a tour set up. We learned lots of cool little facts about the wine and the building. Super fascinating. We got got some apps and food. Everything we ordered was delicious. We got the burratta, truffle chips and the cheese plate to start off. Then we ordered spaghetti with meatballs then the pasta with mushrooms. I am not a fan of mushrooms but the sauce they use on that pasta was so good. Definitely recommend. Honestly can't complain about any of the food. We got got some flights, mostly reds and whites. We all loved our flights and I think the bubbles was my favorite. My cousin wanted gelato to finish off our meal and she ordered all the flavors. It was a shock when it all came out. We thought she ordered a few flavors but not all of them. Personal favorite was lavender poppy but they were all really good. Overall, great experience for a girls day out. We chatted and it was just so nice to be out with good drinks and food. We will definitely be back for another girls day.

We loved the ambiance, feeling like we'd really discovered a gem off the beaten track, pun intended. By joining the club, it was a monthly excuse to plan a special night out to what became one of our favorite places for date night. It's been a couple of years now, but we had occassion to meet the owners, when we mistook their closing time for an hour later. The lights were still on, so we didn't realize our mistake, until they'd already invited us in to exchange our monthly growler with such warmth. Super nice people, reflecting the vibe we always felt on our other visits. The staff echoes that disposition, always friendly and knowledgeable. Though the winery isn't on-site, I've always been impressed with their tasting experience. I've now been a member for over 5 years, going in at least once a month, and they still suggest trying seasonal options and have broadened my palette... Though my ex and I have parted ways for a long while now and he moved away, he's kept our membership current, calling it my "alimony," and a nod to remembering the good times we had together. I recommend Bigsby's for all the good memories for all the folks, be it a lazy summer afternoon on the patio or a cozy evening in the lounge area with a glass of red when it's cold outside!

Then when he did acknowledge me and I stated I would sit at the bar, it took several minutes for the bartender to acknowledge me. The staff was busy speaking to each other and doing side work. Once I was acknowledged, things started getting a little better. When I arrived during breakfast/brunch, I was informed they were in the middle of a menu change, so my choices were limited. Breakfast items include bacon and burritos. I started off with a charcuterie board (though I had asked for a fromage board). This was not only because I wanted some tasty cheese, but I was trying to kill time until the lunch/dinner menu started. The board was a great board, two different meats, three cheeses, a loaf of bread, some nuts and jellies. But it was 40 dollars! I had a few small plates (which was still a lot of food). I had a melon and cucumber salad, which was a good palate cleanser. I also had the roasted king mushrooms, which were underwhelming with no seasoning, and they were a little chewy. The best thing was the wild boar meatballs, which were seasoned really well and in a savory, delicious marinara sauce. All the cocktails were fruity (but not sweet) and refreshing. I had one that was carrot based (Kiss my Carrot with tequila, cointreau, carrot, orange, and ginger), one that had pineapple flavor (paper boat with rum, falernum, aperol, lemon, pineapple), and the smoky smoke and flower (hibiscus mezcal, cointreau, pama, rose water). This spot is a winery, so they have a large wine list. They have handhelds like burgers and flatbreads. Starters like artichoke dip and bruschetta. Some of the current entrees, which might change, are hanger steak, chilean salmon, cauliflower steak. They had a gnocchi dish I was interested in, but it's already been removed from the menu. The restaurant is classy and just like a winery is expected to be. The food is pretty good. But the service was really subpar.
