I'm a fan of this Mexican Steak house. In America we would call this a Fajita style food, in Mexico it's just a style of cooking. A hot iron pan filled with excellent quality meat is brought to the table. Salad, guacamole, giant fresh tortillas, sizzling hot pasilla chilli's are brought to the table to accompany the beef. We had beer and wine as well. The total of the meal was $40. for two people. There was so much food left over, I'm sure it would feed one or two more people.
The chilled red wine was very good. It was from the Baja coast of Mexico. Once the chill was gone, I thoroughly enjoyed the dry, earthy tones.
The inside of the restaurant is old western looking. It displayed images from the show, "Bonanza" with the characters smiling comically. I found signs from the "Good, Bad, and the Ugly," as well as neon "Cowboy" signs. Many larger groups were at the restaurant when we were there.
The spot is clean and the staff friendly. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant if you're in the area. Bring your appetite. read more
