Was pretty a pretty busy Sunday night when we walked in, so we ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes after ordering for our food to finally arrive (which got stressful because we had a movie to catch). Other than that, the service was fine. The food itself was solid-- I wanted to try the Bulgogi Tacos this time and they were pretty good. The portions were reasonable with 3 pretty good sized flour tacos (lengthwise from the bottom of my palm to the tip of my middle finger). The bulgogi was flavorful and not too salty. There was a generous amount of lettuce/purple cabbage topping with spicy mayo on top. I tend to not like my tacos with too much sauce, but even though these tacos had a generous amount, it didn't overpower the taste of the bulgogi and it didn't feel too heavy either. The integrity of the dish provided by the flour tacos was great-- they didn't become soggy or fall apart so I was able to finish the tacos pretty cleanly (or as cleanly as one can eat a taco!) My friend also ordered the seasoned fries and the boneless wings, which I tried. The seasoned fries were delicious! Crisp, and the seasoning was just the right amount-- they almost tasted like the Fries version of Lays Sour Cream and Onion potato chips. The boneless wings were a bit dry for both of our tastes, although I've had their bone-in wings before and they were definitely juicier, so perhaps it's just a boneless wing thing. Make sure to order an hour to hour and a half in advance. Why they are soooo slow is beyond me. The restaurant is never full when I go in. A friend recommended this place to me some weeks ago, finally decide to give it a try. Got some takeout and was impressed by the quality of the food and the service. They wings were really good. My experience with this Bonchon location has been hit or miss. Back then the service was timely, and we got our food quickly and the staff was fairly attentive. Now, the last couple times I went, the waiters were extremely negligent. My friend and I ordered seasoned fries and a small combo apiece. Our son goes to UMBC & took him out to lunch last Saturday & we picked this Bonchon location. Was afraid the chicken would be meh but it was actually very good. We got an order or 8 mixed - half soy & half spicy. Got another 8 of spicy & some bulgogi fried rice. The wings were fried perfectly. I thought the spicy would be mild given this is a chain restaurant catering to 'Muricans but it was very spicy. Great flavor, but the spiciness builds. We really enjoyed both. Pretty good service and the environment is very comfortable. While waiting, the bar personnel asked me if I want water or not. Very polite and nice gentleman. They told me it'll take about 25 minutes, but it only take about 15 minutes. Satisfied. When I'm on my way out, that bar personnel also greeted me and say goodbye. Great location, easy access. My partner went on a Bonchon binge at some point over the summer and was ordering from here almost once a week for a month or so, and we live in Glen Burnie. Perfectly cooked and garlicky for all my garlic lovers with just the perfect amount of sweet. Not your average sized wings either! They are almost the size of they're drumsticks!!!
