4/5 tteokbokki- so spicy but so good 3/5 veggie dumpling soup- decent, wish it had tree ear mushroom tho 3/5 fried rice- decent, very soy saucy

    SO SALTY
    Jess Y.

SO BAD. The wings taste like they poured a whole bottle of soy sauce over them and just tossed them. It's so salty, nobody could eat more than 2 small wings. One of our drumsticks looked like they took another customers eaten chicken leg and refried them. I don't know what happened to the quality of this place, but I would not recommend. The flavors at the nearby chicken spots are definitely better at similar price points. They also make you choose radish or coleslaw if you want it as a side, but other spots just give it for free. The service was fine, which is why I gave 2 stars (food is 0 stars). I ordered online and did pickup, my food was ready when I got there. It was a quick in and out.

3.0 The food was pretty good, just like I remembered. However, the service was a bit disappointing. When you walk in, you're not sure if you should go to the counter or seat yourself. Once we did sit down, it took a while for the server to come over and take our order. As for the food, we ordered the Seoul Sampler and the Bacon Kimchi Stir-Fry Udon. Everything was cooked well and tasted great. Nothing pairs better with Korean fried chicken than beer and some good ol' soju. Would I come back again? Maybe for takeout, that way I wouldn't have to worry about the service.

Came here because my sister raves about this place. We got the garlic soy mixed wings and drums in addition to the chicken sandwich and seasoned fries. The fries were good but very different. They had what looked like a white powder on them that tasted like powdery cheese but it was good. The chicken was ok. The service was a little sub par because we kept going to the counter when we needed to order or get our food wrapped but was told they would come to us. If I come back I would give their bulgogi a try.

We had a large group of 12 and there was enough seating to accommodate us. There were plenty of tables for small groups or 2-4 also. The food speaks for itself! Delicious! You have to have the bulogi fries, japchae and fried chicken pieces. The chicken comes in a variety of counts and you can get different sauces. The menu has samplers and other pick food too. The is a wait staff who comes around to see if you need anything and clears the table. This place opens late so it great for a late night snack or meal! Been coming for a while and still coming back!!!

One of the saltiest soy garlic korean fried chickens that also came out warm and overly fried...great deal on beer however, $12.50 for a pitcher of Asahi!

I wanted to try the northern boulevard location because it's bigger and more spacious. But honestly, I'm going to stick with the bayside location from now on. The food came fast and it was pretty good, especially the sliders. I wasn't a huge fan of the Korean BBQ sauce though, it didn't taste good it tasted a bit like rum to me. We were the only tables there and they didn't pay attention to us, we tried to ask for the check but couldn't get ahold of their attention, and ended up just going to the front and paying. Food- 3/10 Service- 1/10

I actually went back here again and got the Japchae and french fries. It was so yummy and again, the service was on point and top notch. I've decided to change my rating to 5 stars.

We ordered the meal that came with fried chicken and 2 sides so we got french fries and fried rice. Honestly wasn't bad! Didn't expect much but the fried chicken was juicy and crispy. I thought the service was good too. The staff were busy packing to go orders but they didn't make us wait too long. Inside has a fast food feel to it though. This location has parking too!

First time trying Bonchon and I was really happy we ordered from here!! Was craving udon one night and decided to try it from Bonchon since I was craving wings too. The udon was pretty good, the broth was not too heavy and there was a good amount of noodles in it. As for the wings; we ordered half spicy and half soy garlic. The spicy was pretty spicy I have to admit which was yummy. The soy garlic however, can use a little work, I couldn't really taste the soy garlic. We also ordered takoyaki, and it was pretty good as well. They supplied us with a small container of radish so thank you so much for that because I can literally eat all of that in one sitting. Another thing we ordered that was delish was the japchae, I wasn't expecting it to taste so damn good!! Overall, I would like to give this place another chance and try to dine in. They have parking in this location.

Ordered 20 wings in soy garlic delivered by Uber Eats. The chicken was still really crispy even with a 20 min commute to my house, I had to eat it with some sushi rice since it's too salty for me. A piece of pickled radish was quite refreshing after every wing. I don't have any issue with the size of the chicken wings and drums since it's the same size as the ones I get from WFs. Smaller chickens are higher quality, not as tough as the big ones but they are hard to cook so sometimes it can come out dry. So BonChon did a great job cooking them but I'm sure there will be a few occasions where it might be dry since they're so small. This time.. they were cooked perfectly.. L loved the chicken, great flavor, fried really well. They were not dry at all.

We dined in and service was great. Fast-casual setting , clean tables and food arrived quicker than expected. The wings were crisp and tasty. We ordered the soy garlic wings, seasoned fries and street corn. Everything was fresh.

    Seasoned Fries

Came here for a last minute late night meal, and the place was pretty empty. I appreciated that there was a parking lot for this location though. The seasoned fries here were a bit undercooked and flavorless, even though they were supposed to be seasoned with herbs, parmesan cheese, and parsley flakes. The wings did not disappoint as they are the typical bonchon wings, but what threw me off the most was the bibimbap. The sauce was in an individual sauce packet (like for ketchup), and it was not enough for the whole bowl. Also, the ingredients in the bowl did not seem to mesh well together.. It seemed more like a fusion version of bibimbap than the traditional Korean bibimbap, which was what I was expecting. There was a unique herby taste in each bite, and even with more of the sauce, something was just a bit off about it.. Bathroom is pretty clean and service here is pretty speedy, but not sure if the food quality is up there compared to other Bonchon locations.

This spot is a slightly more elevated and nicely decorated with warm and friendly service. I ordered a Sichuan classic, twice cooked pork, and a new dish I've never seen before, snow pea leaves in broth. The twice cooked pork was a fantastic iteration of this dish. The pork was sliced thin with the perfect amount of chew which paired well texturally with the soft, buttery leeks. The flavor was so well balanced while being heavily seasoned and the smoky wok hei flavor really comes through. The snow pea leaves were soft and silky with tender stems, and they came served in a golden broth with some mushrooms, juicy tomato and snappy pieces of black fungus. The dish is topped with a century egg. I found the broth itself to have a bit of a grainy texture when sipped. I've tried century egg in the past and while I'm not disgusted by it, I never quite felt like I understand the ingredient until eating this dish. The creamy, funky flavor of the egg reminds me of blue cheese and it pairs very well with the subtle flavors of the snow pea leaves and amplifies the richness of the broth. I really enjoyed my experience here and would like to return with a group to try more of the Sichuan classics on the menu.

An Unforgettable Omakase Experience!…read more We celebrated the 4th of July with an incredible omakase dinner at Masaki, and it exceeded every expectation. Every course was beautifully presented, impeccably fresh, and perfectly balanced. From the delicate Red Sea Bream and buttery Scallop to the luxurious Toro with Caviar, Sweet Shrimp with Uni, and the unforgettable Eel with Foie Gras, each bite was a masterpiece. What truly elevated the evening was Michael, our sushi chef. He was warm, engaging, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He took the time to explain every course, the origin of the fish, the flavors, and the best way to enjoy each piece. His passion for his craft was evident, and his attention to detail made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. Dining at the sushi bar gave us a front-row seat to watch the artistry behind every piece. The quality of the ingredients, the precision of the preparation, and the genuine hospitality made this one of the finest omakase experiences we've ever had. I honestly wasn't expecting much but the service based solely for the Omakase blew me away. The Omakase bar was in the back of the restaurant hidden away. The space was very open and the ambience was chic. This is a great place for date night, mommy night out, or group hangouts as they have private rooms too. Every piece tasted very fresh and were quite unique. The steam silky egg appetizer with crabmeat and fish roe was simple yet delicious. One of the dishes was an uni toro roll that was placed on top of our hands and was sprayed with edible gold glitter on us. That was a surprise and it was cute. And that uni just melts in your mouth. We had this matcha pudding with I think had an Oreo sprinkle in it was fabulous. They also surprised us with an extra dessert cause it was all 3 of our birthdays. Very enjoyable experience. Our sushi chef was very accommodating and made our birthday dinner memorable. We originally started out with the summer special of $78pp for a 12 course meal and decided to upgrade to the 14 course meal for $98pp. There was an option for a 17 course meal for $138pp but we were very full towards the end. They also had this $30 lunch and $60 dinner 3 course meal set for restaurant week. My friend's mom wasn't a fan of raw stuff so she ordered the Chilean sea bass with risotto and she wasn't a huge fan of it. The fish was a tad overcooked and the overall presentation of the dish looked more of a Chinese fusion dish. The risotto had that cheesy flavor but the presentation with the Bok Choy and the risotto looked more like fried rice and was confusing. I would stick with the omakase, which this place is known for.
