Located on a little plaza at the junction of a busy intersection, this Bonchon shares ample parking with the other little shops in the area. We came in on a Wednesday evening as a party of two without having to wait in an otherwise relatively quiet night We ordered the 10pc mix wings, half soy garlic, half spicy, and a bibimbap for balance also with garlic soy chicken For $17 the bibimbap was underwhelming. It was good, don't get me wrong, but doesn't justify the price The wings were also disappointing. While they have the signature Bonchon double fried taste, there's actually very little meat - I'm not sure what kind of chicken they're getting but don't be fooled by the 'size' in the photos - you take one bite, and its a lot of crunch and a lot of air. It's funny - I'm looking at their menu online and they offer 6pc mixed or 12pc mixed, but not a 10pc option... you can count in the photos yourself. Not sure what's going on there. I also ordered a pint of Sapporo All of this, for the two us, including tip, was about $60. The food is fine, but this meal absolutely does not warrant the price tag. We left feeling a bit remorseful and didn't really satisfy our fried chicken craving that night tldr; this isn't like Bonchon from 10 years ago. Prices aren't really worth for a fried chicken chain, the wings themselves are really small but 'look' big - little meat, lots of crispy, lots of air. The chain has really devolved these years

Bonchon Korean Fried Chicken delivers exactly what it promises. Soy Garlic Wings - Absolutely flawless. Crispy exterior, juicy interior, and the soy garlic glaze strikes the perfect balance between sweet and savory. These are the wings you'll crave again and again. Bulgogi Fried Rice - Tender, flavorful bulgogi paired with perfectly seasoned fried rice. It's simple, elevated comfort food done right. Service - Impeccable. Staff are attentive, professional, and make you feel genuinely welcomed. Experience - The restaurant has a relaxed, polished vibe--ideal for a casual meal or a small gathering. Recommendation - Whether you're dining solo or with a group of 2-3 (even up to 4), this spot is a must-try. Bonchon consistently delivers on both flavor and service, making it a standout in Korean fried chicken.

It's been awhile since I visited BonChon, so this might be old news, but they changed the batter for boneless wings. The batter was the only reason why I liked going to BonChon because no other place did it like them. Now their boneless wings are frozen wings I can buy from a grocery store. So disappointed and it wasn't even properly sauced. The only good thing I got were the gold dust fries.

Been to this location about 3 times since it opened, my family and I really enjoy the menu. This time for 2 of us we got the 16 piece half soy garlic and half yangnyeom flavor. We also got an order of the spicy potstickers to start. The chicken is perfectly crunchy and they make sure to cover them with a ton of sauce, and the spicy potstickers have a nice quick. I also enjoy their other menu items such as the tteokibokki and cheese corn. If you're coming here with family this is a great place to visit. The staff is fast and the kitchen makes the food pretty quickly as well.

Super friendly service & plenty of seatings indoors! I was quickly seated on a Saturday night and food came out fairly quickly, Food: ordered the medium mixed with wings and drumsticks with half soy garlic and their new sauce yangnyeom. First thought when the food came out was these are some large pieces of drumsticks & wings!! The yangnyeom was my favorite. It was spicy and sweet and just overall balanced out perfectly. I usually love soy garlic flavor however the wings coated in this sauce was my least favorite. I thought it was way too salty. I also ordered the new item on the menu: mapo Korean corn dog coated in sugar and cinnamon, this was my absolutely least favorite out of everything. It was way too breading & the mapo seasons just tasted weird to me. I would not get this ever again. I love how the chicken was doubled fried & had the perf crispiness!

I came in and was greeted by a friendly order-taker and placed a takeout order of Japchae. It was flavorful, but the veggies were undercooked. I've had them cooked perfectly at other Bonchons, so I do have perspective on this dish. I would never dine inside because I disliked the takeout experience (a first for me). I sat at one of their tables and was about to TASTE my food when a young woman (presumably a manager) advised me of their "no outside food or drink" policy. I immediately closed the lid on my food and rose to leave. I told her I didn't see a sign. She told me it's posted on the entry door and she showed it to me on my way out. It was a small sign and I missed it. I wish she'd taken a moment to notice that mine was a takeout order and that I wasn't dining in. Meaning the milkshake that I had with me wasn't going to be consumed on the property. Does this mean that if I came in with a can of soda get my takeout order, she'd have come and spoken to me? Petty.

FOOD We ordered a mix of wings and drumsticks of the KBBQ and spicy types. The KBBQ option was a little on the sweeter side but still delicious. The spicy one wasn't too spicy, but if you have sauces at home, they can augment the flavor multi-fold. At over a two dollars per wing/drumstick, the place is on the expensive side, but it's a definitely nice treat ever so often. SERVICE We didn't dine in, and the takeout service is also streamlined and easy to get in and out. They provide chopsticks, utensils, and napkins with the bag, and the side dishes are packaged neatly to avoid spillage. I would recommend opening the chicken containers on the drive fro to keep them crispy. The staff are friendly and efficient. AMBIANCE The inside is very clean and modern with many seating arrangements available. It's a great place for a nice get-together with friends/colleagues or to dine-in solo. PARKING The restaurant shares a large parking lot with neighboring stores, making it easy to find a spot.

Walked in on a Tuesday evening for a late evening snack! Ordered a medium half-half combo(Drums & flats): Soy-garlic chicken 8/10: Juicy, crispy, but a little too salty Spicy chicken 7.5 /10: not very spicy and a little too salty The server was nice and refilled my partner's water 9/10 There were not many people as it was a Tuesday night, but it was clean, music playing, and a good place to sit and grab a snack or drink! Overall decent place to hangout, but not the best Korean fried chicken in the area.

The restaurant has a distinctive, elevated atmosphere; beautiful wood latticework, spacious seating, and a refined feel that makes it great for a celebration or a memorable night out. Everything was fresh, the banchan was delicious, and the tableside grilling was a huge plus. The servers handled it expertly so we could simply relax and enjoy the meal. Food was a mixed bag. We started with the yuk hae and mandu, which were solid but not particularly memorable. A note for the mandu was that it came out soggy and sat in water which was a bit disappointing for the price point. The meat quality was excellent though, with great marbling throughout the meal. The banchan leaned lighter in seasoning than I'm used to, but the broccoli and marinated quail eggs were standouts. I also appreciated the variety of salts served alongside the meats. My favorite was the volcanic salt! Service was where things fell short. We felt rushed or almost transaction for most of the meal, and it seemed like closing duties took priority over the guest experience. Tea refills took a while, banchan refills had to be requested multiple times, and there wasn't much guidance throughout the grilling experience. We had to ask what cuts we were eating and what each salt was. At this price point, I expect a little more storytelling and attention to detail. The grill also ran extremely hot, making it easy for some cuts to cook past our preferred temperature and constant smoke blew into the middle seat's face. A few tips: don't wear your nicest clothes because the ventilation isn't on the same level as Seoul Prime or Ingle. Make a reservation if you want a grill table, and don't be afraid to ask for banchan refills!! Would I come back for Korean BBQ? Probably not. I'd personally choose Seoul Prime or Ingle. That said, I saw several main dishes that looked promising, and I'd be open to giving the restaurant another shot. The foundation is there, but for the price and the hype, I think the overall experience needs a bit more refinement.

You see, sometimes the quality does matter and quantity is something that is overrated. Meokja Meokja demonstrates that at times quality trumps quantity in Kbbq. The cuts of the meat were all very fresh. I especially enjoyed the beef brisket. It was very tender. A lot of the times at AYCE Kbbq, the beef brisket can be quite dry. Not the case here. The waitress cooked all of our food, which is something I haven't truly appreciated in a while. It does make the food a bit more enjoyable when I don't have to do all the work. This restaurant is not super big. It was already borderline packed despite that we went there right when it opened. My friend told me there is one time they waited almost an hour at 9PM. So I would definitely get here early to avoid a long wait. While I had always been a loyal fan of AYCE Kbbq, I have found myself over the recent years slowly being tipped over towards the a la carte territory. Meokja Meokja has been the tipping point that finally swayed me over. The price here is about the same as AYCE, but with better quality, and I don't feel like trash after finishing the meal. Overall, AYCE Kbbq can be a messy affair, but I felt very clean and satisfied after eating here. A very solid Kbbq meal that I haven't had in a while.

What feels like a hidden gem serves some of the best Korean cooking I've tasted. The bossam was incredibly aromatic and came with a massive portion of fresh kimchi that was cut tableside, making for a fun dining experience. Together, it was more than enough to satisfy two hungry diners. The banchan selection was equally impressive and paired beautifully with the meal. The restaurant itself is cozy, clean, and welcoming, while the service felt warm, genuine, and comforting, almost like dining in someone's home. My only suggestion would be to offer a more fermented kimchi option as a side dish. All of the kimchi we tried was very fresh, and I personally would have loved a tangier, more developed flavor. Overall, this is an easy 10 out of 10. I would absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back.

The menu was extensive, filled with lots of homey options that I don't usually see in other restaurants. After ordering, we were served six different banchans, all of which were incredibly homey -- light and not too savory. My favorites were the acorn jelly (which was mixed with salted seaweed and sesame seeds) and the white kimchi. Honestly, all six were really solid. AL TANG - 19.99 Super savory with lots of "sea sweetness" and umami, this stew was rich and piping hot upon arrival. I've never had al tang before, but have heard great things about it. Unfortunately, I didn't love the texture of fish roe (kind of reminded me of the texture of cooked chicken lungs). By the end of the stew, I thought it was too salty, so I didn't end up finishing it. Overall, I'm glad I tried it, but I probably won't get it again. My friend got the mackerel which he loved. I'll look forward to other items on the menu next time.

We checked out Unlimeat on a Saturday late afternoon, and it was still buzzing--always a good sign…read more They do take reservations (which I recommend), and when we arrived our table for six was ready to go. Fair warning: the table setup is a little tight--especially when the guys take up 80% of the real estate. At one point I think the grill had more elbow room than we did That said, the experience really shines where it matters. The service was fantastic--fully attentive without being overbearing. Our server (a woman whose name I unfortunately forgot) was incredibly on point. We didn't have to ask once for refills on the complimentary banchan--they just kept appearing right when we needed them. She somehow kept perfect pace with our very serious meat consumption. We went with the premium package ($58 per person), which also includes the essentials. Our mission was clear: try as many cuts of beef as possible--especially ribeye--and we stayed committed. No time (or stomach space) left for chicken or pork. Priorities! We did try the butter lemon bay scallops... honestly, that's probably a skip next time. Not bad, just not worth the grill space when the beef is that good. All the sides were fresh, especially the greens, which balanced out the meat-heavy feast nicely. Location-wise, it's super easy to find--right across from Captain Pells--and there's shared parking in the strip mall, which wasn't an issue. Bottom line: we'll definitely be back--for the outstanding service and the quality of the meats. Come hungry and ready to commit.

Came here not expecting much…read more A lot of the new KBBQ that have been opening up have been huge let-downs. Went with their premium AYCE and ordered majority of their different styles of meat. I was actually impressed the selections didn't taste cheap; brisket was my favorite. They offer rib-eye and marinated short rib which were decent. Not the best Rib eye and Galbi in the area (Meokja takes that crown), but definitely not cheap tasting. I enjoyed it. They also offer unlimited chapaghetti and Buldak; my friends enjoyed that but I wasn't a fan of filling up with instant noodles haha I rather eat more meat. This place is on the pricier side, but I'd say it's a solid 4 star establishment imo.
