I just had my roof redone and needed the stucco patched around the fireplace and the whole gable removed and re plastered. They did an excellent job on both, the fireplace patch was of big concern to me as it is only 4 ft from my pool and i was concerned that the stucco removal would end up in my pool but alas..there wasn't one piece of material in the pool and the roofers commented on the water proofing that he did was top notch work. The front gable was prepped by dale and crew for the roofers to roof up to it and again they were very impressed with his work. I was concerned that the new roof would get stucco all over it as he was going to do it after the shingle install but Dale assured me that wouldn't happen and it didn't. Hat's off to Friis plastering for being true craftsmen in the art of stuccoing.

(They did beautiful work, especially the concrete and flag stone.). I called today as my primary sump pump did not activate. ( The back up pump they had also installed was working fine.). They had someone out here the same day. Turns out the primary and back up pump each had a different power source, which I didn't know. The primary pump's power had tripped the outlet fuse, and also need cleaning. Everything was working great in a short amount of time. Great support and service!

We hired Robert DoBel for an insurance repair after a delivery truck cause structural damage to our…read morehouse. Contract price under $100,000. Overall work quality seems good, but it took way too long and we are still dealing with the company a year later because of their shady practices. Robert says he did unapproved work he claimed was necessary, but he failed to provide change orders for the insurance to approve when asked up front. He was extremely uncooperative and rude when we tried to submit the expenses after the fact, delaying the insurance settlement for money we had already paid them. Robert tried to have my wife sign backdated COs, and he changed his story to say the work was not necessary after all but that we had approved it, when in reality we asked him repeatedly to only do necessary work and asked for up-front estimates and COs so we could get them approved by the adjuster. Robert failed to complete minor work items as a pressure tactic to make us pay for the unapproved work. Robert threatened to file a lien against our house while sending us ridiculously inflated invoices. (The lien forms he threatened us with were for the original contract price of course, since he knows his COs and invoices are bogus.) Robert emailed us several month later to inform us that permits had expired and there would be a substantial fee to reinstate them, even though he had previously indicated that all inspections as permits were finalized, before we paid him. Essentially, while I believe their work is good, the owner's father Robert DoBel is a shady operator. Steer clear to avoid these shenanigans. I can't believe apparently reputable contractors are trying to pull this kind of thing nowadays. The threats, insults and transparent manipulative tactics are a real pain to deal with. We will probably break even on the insurance payment because we held back a token amount for the incomplete work, but I'm almost hoping we don't so I can take these clowns to court. That frustrating...

While we hope we won't have the need, if so at another property, we would hire Mark again in a second if ever we were faced with a flooding, drainage or related issue. We live on a slight hill and our garage flooded the past 4-5+ years. It was horrible. (See photos) It had been getting worse each year. At first we tried fixing on our own by making some drainage improvements. That did not work. The next year we hired a general contractor but, as we later realized, he did not have the expertise in this specific area. He did install some new drainage and waterproofing, etc., but his "solution" was really no solution at all. Sadly, the flooding in our garage persisted just as before. After that experience we realized that our drainage and flooding issue needed a true pro with this specific experience and expertise. Therefore, the following year we interviewed several contractors who "said" they were experts at drainage and flooding issues. Mark stood-out amongst the group when we met him. His many years of experience, and specifically working on properties with drainage and flooding issues, allowed him to have a more clear vision than any other contractor for a solution to our problem. We scheduled the work for summer 2023. Mark and team were in/out in less than two weeks, just as he said, and his team was very professional, hard working, and courteous. While we never doubted Mark and his team, we felt it was more honest to wait and write this review after the 2023/2024 rainy season. It's now mid-March 2024 and we've had many, many big rainy days and nights that, in the past, would absolutely have flooded our garage and had my wife and would be down there sweeping out the water. This winter: WE HAVE NOT HAD ONE DROP OF WATER flood into our garage! The drainage has worked perfectly. The work Mark did has worked perfectly and we could not be happier. We got the premium shingles, roof ridge venting, a flat area cricket, and good quality aluminum gutters that fit our home's style and color scheme. Esteven was the site lead, and made sure that all aspects of the job went smoothly. He also made sure we knew what work was to be accomplished each day. Since we started with solar panels, the replacement involved coordinating with the solar company to remove and re-install the panels. Esteven and his crew did an excellent job adding extra underlayment where solar panels were to be re-mounted, marking the roof rafters so the solar company could firmly install the mounting brackets, and adding extra waterproofing for each solar bracket stand-off. Esteven removed a powered gable vent fan, ensured there was nothing damaged in our attic when cutting the ridge line to accommodate the new ridge vents, made sure no insulation interfered with airflow for the venting, had the crew clean the site before leaving each day, and fixed any cosmetic issues that had been caused by the construction. I commend the workmanship of Eastman Roofing and their crew, and wholeheartedly recommend them if you are considering a roof replacement.

I am very…read morehappy that I chose Saber Roofing for plenty of reasons. 1) The owner, Ryan, met with me to discuss the work and was very thorough and helpful in answering all my questions. 2) Important details were covered including adding a rain chain in a location where a downspout would have been unsightly (picture attached). Among the details, the rain chain is made of copper while the gutter is made of aluminum. Having these two metals come in contact could compromise the aluminum over time. So, Saber installed the copper rain chain with a protective barrier. 3) Their client service and sales director, Jake, was super helpful and extremely responsive to all my questions. 4) The crew was very efficient, provided high quality workmanship, and left the site spotless. 5) The gutter guards that were installed provide a really fine barrier to prevent even small debris from entering my gutters, but are easy to rinse so that fine particles can be washed through the gutters. 6) The two downspouts that were installed were matched to the color of our trim. Other companies offer limited colors or simply white downspouts, but Saber offers a wide variety. 7) Their pricing is very competitive.
