Tonight 6/10/2026, around 6:30pm our experience was very disappointing; first our server Anthony T forgot my partner special request for his drink, Second He took our Appetizer order and never went through us with their "Welcome Bite" until we already finished our Appetizer, we ordered a rainbow trout (Also we have a little issue with that, but the manager came to us to discuss) which was Really good, at that point we had finished our first round of drinks and we ordered a second round and a Coke Zero, Our Server totally disappeared after that and came back after a long time with our drinks, he doesn't even check in us, at some point we didn't even have water in our glasses because we've been waiting on our second round of drinks, He was very inattentive seems like he just had a few tables, Lastly We ask for our bill, and I told him; he never came with the Coke Zero he doesn't even apologize he just look at me saying Do you want it in a To go cup??? Seriously!? We already done with the meals. We also work for Food Industry/Costumer Service and we're very disappointed with His Service, While we look at the others serves they were more attentive with their tables, Even the restaurant wasn't that busy, The food and Drinks Were excellent and tasty !! but definitely not His Service. read more

Ambiance: they have a bar that sits around 13 people with dining service spread out on the other side. Nice chill music, nothing too loud, able to converse with others. Food: the food here is incredible! Big portions, affordable prices. I'm shocked. The bang bang shrimp is divine. A bit of an overload of sauce, but still amazing. The ahi tuna wontons were amazing. Crispy wontons loaded with slaw and ahi tuna. I was absolutely shocked seeing how big and thick the pieces of ahi tuna were! Highly recommend as an appetizer. The shrimp and scallops, with a side of Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes has divine. Never really had mashed potatoes before, but they were good. The Brussels sprouts were flavorful and crispy. The crunch! The shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked which were topped with a mango pico? Don't know, but so much flavor! Hats off to the chef! Service: Angel and Melissa, two freaking beautiful souls. Their communication between one another was outstanding! Just seeing two hardworking bartenders work together is just beautiful. (I'm in the food industry) Both are so sweet, professional, and golly, their personality is just so positive, it's infectious. Mollie/molly, the general manager! My husband and I decided to have date night and picked Bonefish because we haven't been in a while and it was great decision. Our server was William who was extremely helpful and very kind. He gave us recommendations for new food items and drinks on the menu, he even made my husband their speciality old fashion which was delicious. I had the dragonfruit margarita which was delicious. We started with the crab cakes, bang bang shrimp and calamari, everything came out fresh and tasty. I tried the new steak frites and I will be back! The steak was well cooked and the chimichurri was bomb! My husband got the lobster tails and he said they were cooked well. We took desert to go but the caramel strawberry cheesecake and brownie were delicious. We are excited to go back and hope William will be our server again. read more

No one can make me hate bonefish grill!!! Although they are a chain restaurant, I feel like the food that they provide is quality. I also like the fact that they change their menu often to provide new experiences. But my 100% favorite thing about bonefish is the fact that they offer 4 to 5 course dinner and drink pairings. If you're able to RSVP for one of those events you won't be disappointed! I believe I've attended over five of them and each of them have been exciting and innovative with the food and drink pairing selection. Pleasantly surprised. I know this chain has been around for a while, but this was our first time here. The food and service and ambiance were all decent. We will be back. I tried the bang bang shrimp, which I had heard about. It was definitely good, not sure I would get it again, but that's not to say it was bad. Just not my thing. The ocean fish meal for two was very good though. We enjoyed the wood grilled fish very much. I would avoid the corn chowder when going back too (nothing special), but the tomato bisque was excellent. Also, my wife really liked the king pao brussels sprouts. I sent back the truffle fries unfortunately because the ones we got were wayyy too salty, but they had no problem replacing them with the bacon Mac and cheese (which was very good). Also, our server, Jason, was on the ball. Very nice and attentive and understood everything we asked for. I'd like to see the portion to price ratio be a little better, but we were mostly pleased with how the prepared everything and the service and we will be back to try that imperial dip appetizer. read more

Despite the crowd, on a busy Valentine's Day, I easily found seating in the bar area. We are were festively entertained by the Winter Olympics on the cc TV's. The atmosphere was lovely--I especially love the fresh flowers they had set out at the bar! The bartenders were attentive, knowledgeable, super curtitousyand made wonderful drinks. If you're looking for a recommendation, the Blueberry Lemon Drop is a must-try! For food, I had the crab cake appetizer, which was incredibly fresh and delicious. Bonefish Grill holds a lot of nostalgic memories for both of us. It was the last restaurant we took my mother out to for her birthday, where she had one of her happiest birthday experiences. The last one we went to celebrate her birthday was in Tallahassee, Florida. She had a blast ordering a pina colada and talking with the manager, who wished her happy birthday & gave her a complimentary birthday appetizer & cake. She felt like a queen and the center of attention. The Bonefish Grill in Alexandria was just as memorable. The ambiance was peaceful and quiet. We came before 3 pm and got a booth in the bar area. Angel was our server and exceptionally professional & amicable. She gave us excellent recommendations for entrees to try in the future and provided us bread with a dipping sauce. We ordered a pina colada in memory of my mother. We ordered off the lunch special menu and selected fish & chips, a cheeseburger, and crab soup. It was $14.99 for an entree & soup. As an appetizer, we ordered bang bang shrimp. The bang bang shrimp has always been our favorite all time appetizer there. It was delicious as always. I loved my fish & chips and soup. The portions were small yet enough. The coleslaw with my fish and chips were in a condiment size cup. My daughter and I stopped in for happy hour. It wasn't very crowded so we did not have to wait to have a seat at the bar. It initially started out a little rocky as we were not greeted by anyone for about 10 minutes. However, when the bartender arrived, he apologized and his service was outstanding. Love a dark & moody restaurant, but it's a bit too dark & the tables are situated so close together. Service was also extremely slow when it wasn't too busy. Food overview: -Bang bang shrimp: my favorite item! Delicious & crispy shrimp. Definitely a must try. -Tempura crunch sashimi tuna: tuna was not fresh & had a strange texture & smell. -Imperial dip: super greasy, oversalted cheese dip. -Mahi Mahi with mango salsa & sides of broccoli & coleslaw: nothing special. But the broccoli was perfectly cooked & the coleslaw was nice & fresh. The martinis & margaritas we ordered were 98% sugar & 2% alcohol. Overall, we weren't impressed. Bonefish is a solid spot for a seafood night. The inside was a cozy dim setting, and service was very good. The edamame had a good chili sauce but I wish there would've been more. They could've been steamed just a little longer as well. The rainbow trout was fantastic though. Such a good crust and flavor. The fish was very fresh tasting as well. The bang bang sauce on the shrimp tacos was very good but the shrimp had definitely sat in it for too long. The crust got very soggy and there was no crunch. Did you know that they offer courses as though it's restaurant week on their special daily? I course the grilled barbecue chicken with sweet spicy barbecue sauce( it has a kick) and 3 panko grilled shrimp which blew my socks off. Then I had to choose two sides from their sides menu mine was broccoli and steamed spinach ( trying to get my veggies) and a garden salad. To top it off this selection comes with a brownie/ I had to take it to go. Surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. The decor is very nice, contemporary and sleek. Our server, Julianna, was lovely. Very attentive and personable. We started off with the free, optional warm bread--perfection. Nothing better than tasty warm bread dipped in oil and cheese with herbs . My friend had the grilled shrimp salad with blue cheese dressing and said it was very good. I had the pasta with chicken. Very good just a tad too peppery to be perfection for me, but enjoyed it nonetheless. It was a healthy portion as I ordered this for lunch. The chocolate crème brûlée topped with a huge dollop of whipped cream with chocolate shaving (a nice touch) was quite good. I actually ordered on DoorDash, but I called the location to ask a question about the menu. The hostess who answered the phone was very polite and helpful. Now on to the food. I placed the order through DD and it arrived within the timeframe and all items were there. To be honest, the entree looked quite pitiful in the plastic to go container, but once I put everything on a plate and started eating, I was pleasantly surprised! The food was really tasty, even when it wasn't piping hot from the kitchen and I had to warm it up myself. The filet mignon was tender (an up charge from the standard sirloin) and cooked to my request, the crab cake was soft and flavorful, and the sauce was delicious on both. The Brussels sprouts had a nice crunch and the Kung Pao sauce wasn't overwhelming or spicy like I thought it would be. The bread was delicious. The only thing I didn't finish were the fries; they were the most boring of the whole meal though nothing was wrong with them. It had been a long time since we'd been to Bonefish but the food is always stellar. We had the bang bang shrimp appetizer, which is always a must when you go to Bonefish. We also tried a shrimp toast appetizer that's new to their menu. It was really good. Neither are pictured because my family and I crushed it! LOL We also got there early enough to have a couple of drinks from their Social Hour menu. The mango bourbon sour and the blueberry lemon drop were both a win! The customer service was EXCELLENT, but this was possibly the worst lobster I have ever had. It tasted as if it was overcooked two days ago and then reheated. It was terrible and I wanted to send it back, but opted to just pay and leave because I didn't have high hopes for anything else to be better since the lobster was so bad. The parking is plentiful and free. This is a great location for all events. One of my good friends loves the bang bang shrimp here. I don't care for the food here. read more

I had the creamy tomato linguine and my dinner date had the bang bang shrimp tacos, that are served with French Fries (?) It's like they have something against spices, because there's NO MUSTARD. My double dutch group came here almost every Wednesday this spring/summer. We've never had a complaint about the service or the food. The bread and oil they serve to the table is always warm and really tasty. The cocktails are good and so is dessert. I highly recommend the boom boom shrimp or the crab fries.
