I won't ever be back due to awful food. We started with bang bang shrimp. I see mention of this in lots of reviews and I just don't understand the appeal. It was shrimp coated in mayo - not even crispy as the coating was soggy. It's definitely missing the bang! Was very bland. The maho was good, at least they do fish right but the fries were the only side that was edible. Do not get the bacon Mac and cheese - it is the worst Mac and cheese that I have ever had. So bland and flavorless. The. Russel sprouts were not good either. The waitress was wonderful and any stars are just for her. She saw that we didn't eat the food and didn't charge for the premium sides. She knew instantly and asked if it was bland. At least I know and won't ever be tempted again. read more

One of the things I like about Bonefish Grill is the fact that when I bring the senior citizen part of our family over Someone always opens the outside door and hold it open so we can get in easily. Even though this seems like a little thing when you're managing a senior citizen and trying to park your car at the same time, it can be a challenge. Service here is great our server Victoria did a wonderful job taking care of us. And Twin tails and fish and chips were wonderful but our chimichurri steak wasn't quite up to par. I spoke with management and they made it right. This restaurant is nice and clean and Service is consistently good. The atmosphere here is pleasant with background music just enough. For my bday a great friend Kim took me to Tequila Tasting for Pantelones at Bonefish. It was perfect for me as I am a Tequila drinker. There were 5 wonderfully paired courses. The drinks were delicious to include one that had Aperol in it and I do not like Aperol. I tried ceviche for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. My favorite course was the shrimp stack. The sea bass was my least favorite but thats probably a me problem. I did love the jasmine rice and cilantro crema that came with it. The service was excellent. The manager visited every table multiple times, explaining each course and it's accompanying cocktail. We were seated with two kind and friendly diners. The salmon was over cooked! It was well done and a bit dry, but I didn't ask for a redo. Most times, I'm asked how would I like my salmon cooked. Bonefish is always a great time. They are currently having the $5 martinis and margaritas on Mondays. The drink pairing dinner they have every month is well worth it and enjoyable. The social hour is also a good value with drinks and light bites reasonably priced. There is plenty of parking in the lot. Matt is my favorite bartender, he always gives great service. Let me begin by saying that this would have been a five star rating if the manager had made the rounds of the dining room as I would have shared out these concerns to them directly and would have felt confident that they would have been easily resolved to my satisfaction. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and the hostess indicated that she would try to find a place for us to sit (party of 2, later dining, multiple open tables). She checked with another hostess to confirm that the table she had selected would be acceptable (perhaps in training?) and then indicated that they could seet us and that hopefully one of the servers would want to serve us. This choice of words seemed odd, but we went with it. The server who "decided" to take care of us was pleasant and eager to please. We had no complaints with her other than some lack of forethought with regard to refilling glasses (she asked permission each time, even when glasses were less than half full) and clearing empty, dirty plates from the table. She seemed genuinely interested in making sure that we had a good experience (and we largely did). We elected to get the mixed grill for two which was promising. The variety was nice and it allowed us to try some things we might not have gotten otherwise. We chose salads and brussels sprouts and cauliflower for our included add ons. The salad was delightful! It came with black olives which thankfully were whole because I don't like them and gave them to my husband. They left beind a briney taste which I normally would not enjoy, but it elevated an already supurb offering. The salad included pine nuts and hearts of palm and it came standard with a citrus vinegarette. It was a promising start to the meal, despite bread being delayed due to a backup in the kitchen. Our sides, main, and bread arrived at the same time. The sides were delicious! The main came with four offerings: shrimp, tuna, salmon, and a whitefish that was forgettable. The flavor of all was good, however the salmon and the questionable whitefish were overcooked and our server didn't check on us until we were so far into the meal that we would not have been comfortable asking that they be returned for a more propper cook. There was a table tent offering a coconut pie that was right up my alley and left me desiring it throughout my meal, so despite my being quite satisfied from the main dishes, I went ahead and got it (good job, marketing team!). My husband went with the flourless brownie with hazelnuts and ice cream. The pie was superb! It was served warm and there was no doubt that it was coconut. I forced myself to eat all of it (which wasn't difficult due to how good it tasted). My husband offered me a taste of his brownie and under other circumstances, I would have accepted, but I was too full to even have one more bite. Towards the end of the meal, I noticed that my glass had a chip in it. This was not problematic for me since I was drinking from a straw. We did point this out to the server and she immediately offered to get me a new glass. I declined as I was not in fear of there being glass in my drink, but just wanted them to know to take it out of the circulation. Overall, the meal was fine although the pace was uneven. There was a slow start and then a gap between when we ordered dessert and were served it. It seemed that most of our challenges were related to kitchen timing and then other staff who were newer in their positions. I see room for growth and imagine that if we return and see these employees still there that the challenges that were noted will no longer be issues. Again, a conversation with a manager would have given us the opportunity to share these observations (and maybe enjoy our fish more). The entire meal cost $75 which felt like a value considering how much food we had and the overall quality of the offerings (save the fish which I have talked about enough). We are AARP members so we received an additional 10% discount which was effortless to receive. I always enjoy dining here and hope to be able to retun again soon! read more

We had reservations on a Friday night to celebrate a birthday. We were seated right away, our server was cheerful and attentive, and the wait between items was perfect. We never felt rushed. This place is like a decent bar and grill that's attached to a golf course or hotel. Apps tasted great, particularly the bang bang shrimp, but several mussels had shards of broken mussel shell embedded inside, even though the ones on the plate all had unbroken mussel shells. Ordered the steak and shrimp special - a "7oz barrel cut filet medium rare" - and was served a different cut of steak that was nearly well done. We got their bang bang shrimp, cod imperial, and signature pasta. Was too hungry and kind of devour that bang bang shrimp before I remembered to take a picture of it. I personally like their bang bang shrimp best. It's lightly battered, which allows you to taste the shrimp, and that special suace really compliments it. The service was good too. Our waitress constantly checks on us to make sure we are good. Even though we can't decide what we want to order. Best bonefish location in the city - hands down!!! I've been here a couple of times and have never been disappointed! The service, food and ambiance is top tier. I dined in with friends for a late lunch. We are absolutely obsessed with the bang bang shrimp, so we opted for the "big bang shrimp" appetizer to share. It was perfect - per usual, definitely a must try ! The sauce has a subtle spice that blends well with the other flavors. I got the chicken and shrimp entree which was fresh and flavorful. One of my friends got the lily chicken and she liked it a lot - but wasn't a fan of the cold slaw side she chose, it was a bit chunky. My other friend got the swordfish and ravioli entree and she loved it! The pairing was surprisingly amazing - the swordfish was cooked to perfection. Hats off to the chef! We shared the margarita pitcher and were not disappointed. The pitcher is smaller than expected so if it's more than two people I would suggest getting two pitchers or a bottle of wine. It was busy yet our server Michelle was very attentive and down to earth. They still offer the fresh roll with olive oil pesto which I love. There was a slight change to their menu. They added a wood fire grill selection. Which I highly recommend. You pick a protein, blackened is optional, then you choose a sauce (optional too). We started off with our fave appetizer- Bang bang shrimp. Paired with a bottle of Pinot Noir. Then for our entrees, I ordered the grilled rainbow trout with the lemon caper butter on top, with a side of garlic mashed potatoes and their seasonal veggie which was broccoli. My Mr ordered the grilled mahi mahi topped with Mango Salsa. He chose sautéed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. All meals came out pretty quick and all tasted really delicious! From now on, I am getting my meals grilled here! The shrimp was definitely banging and the garlic mashed potatoes tasted home made. We didn't have room for dessert but I know we will be back. The crispy shrimps are tossed in a spicy mayo sauce. They have vegetables underneath the shrimps so the dish is not too heavy and creamy imo. 2. Bonefish Signature Pasta (3.5/5) - We chose the Altantic Salmon. The pasta is cooked with some red peppers and artichokes with Creole Sauce. It's pretty good combo! And the portion is huge!! 3. Scallops Scampi & Baja Shrimps (4/5) - It's served with two sides. We chose garlic whipped potatoes and seasonal vegetables. - They cooked the scallops and shrimp with a buttery spicy sauce/soup. Also, your friend's $7 fancy drink was likely on the Social Hour menu and didn't require additions/modifications. Regardless, $9.95 for a martini is very reasonable these days! Quality seafood and semi formal interior at a very good price. Pros: Affordable, intimate, decent portions. Cons: Parking was full. Girlfriend took me here for our anniversary and it was a good balance of cost to quality. We were seated in a nice large booth and the staff we nice and offered recommendations for dishes. We got drinks, apps, and entrees that all came out in order. Their Sangrias were a nice surprise especially the white Sangria with a little citrus and cherry and at 7$ each they were worth it. The bang bang shrimp was good but not my style but the special of Scallop Scampi & Baja shrimp with two sides won the day. Most plates were 20-30$ and one plate was enough to satisfy. Our appetizer was out in mere minutes after our wine and it as even better than we'd remembered. I could just do a big plate of it and be absolutely satisfied. As for our main courses, my lady opted for the grilled rainbow trout in lemon caper butter sauce, and I decided on blackened mahi-mahi with mango salsa. Every bite was perfection! The sweetness of the salsa went very well with the spiciness of the blackened mahi-mahi. My lady couldn't stop raving about her trout and how well the sauce went with it too. Plus the pinot noir paired surprisingly well with it all. (Yes, you can actually pair red wine with fish.) However, when it came time for dessert, there was definitely no room at the inn that was our collective stomachs. Maybe next time, and there WILL be a next time. After avoiding Bonefish for nine months due to a previous bad experience, I thought I would give it another try using a $10 off $30 coupon I just received. It was not to be. After at least 6 unsuccessful attempts to place my order on line, I called the restaurant. Apparently the manager wouldn't accept the 10OFF30 coupon but would give me $10 off if I spent $40. A shame losing a customer over $10. A key rule of customer service is it is cheaper to keep an existing customer than acquire a new one. read more

This place is extremely clean, and our server tended to us promptly. We were immediately started with water and bread, and we ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp to start with. There was a miscommunication leading us to get two sets of bread, which we happily accepted. I don't have to describe how good Bang Bang Shrimp is- every bite is AMAZING! Climate control: I had to ask for an extra cloth napkin to drape around my neck because it was so freakin' cold. My coffee was barely warm when it was served because the place was so frigid.
