On a Monday evening, we dined at the Daytona Beach Bonefish Grill to partake in their popular happy hour offerings. Typically a lunch destination for us, we arrived to find a bustling dining room filled with large groups of parties and families. Seated promptly, our intended server was delayed by a sizable group placing an order. Server Damir promptly stepped up to the challenge, taking our drink orders and providing exceptional service throughout the meal. Twice, the kitchen manager visited to ensure our experience met our expectations. We ordered a Key Lime Martini (special), an order of Salmon Tomato Linguini, and the Bourbon Salmon with Broccoli and Jasmine Rice. Naturally, a couple of the signature Bonefish bread loaves, along with pesto and oil, were brought to our table. Entrees and sides were served hot on a heated plate, all seasoned well and flavorful. It was an absolutely enjoyable meal out, characterized by impeccable service and well-prepared dishes. Always a delicious meal at bonefish. First time having the shaved Brussels sprouts salad with the salmon on it. I have to say it is a very large salad and could practically be shared amongst four people as a side. A nice mix is to put the kung pow sauce from the Brussels sprouts appetizer on the salmon - delicious . They could sell a kung pow salmon just like they sell the glazed bourbon salmon as a meal. Sunday dinner at Bonefish.. there was 7 of us that walked into the restaurant about 3 hours before closing. The hostess wasn't baaad, but it wasn't good either. The hostess left our party standing up front while we watched her talk to several different parties, then came back saying she's sorry for the wait, they are very busy. As if we couldn't see the lie. As for the food, the blueberry refresher was good. The bang bang shrimp was ok (probably would have been better if it were hot. I ordered the mahi mahi and shrimp with smashed potatoes and broccoli, for my entre. The food took about 40 minutes to come, and when it arrived, I WAS BROUGHT THE WRONG MEAL (they brought shrimp and scallops). The waiter never apologized, just took it back and about 15 minutes after everyone else was eating, I had a plate of burnt shrimp (not chargrilled) and quickly cooked (you can tell by the texture), half-portioned mahi mahi. Bread was fantastic...soup had a wonderful flavor but wasn't hot...fish..couldn't eat it...looked really good but grease was too much...our server was amazing though...very sweet and accommodating. read more

Somehow, I feel as if the service is personalized and a bit scaled up, especially when compared to a Red Lobster or similar restaurant. They consider the atmosphere to be "Polished Casual". Did you know that the servers are called "Anglers' and help you decide on the best fish to suit your taste and they wear white chef coat for that professional look. I wasn't too hungry and simply ordered fried shrimp. It was tasty and definitely crispy. Other times, I go all out and order an amazing entree selection of fresh seafood. My server was also great and friendly. The host was super accommodating with my request for a booth since I brought my service dog with me. In the nearly 5 years we have lived back in this area, we have driven by Bonefish Grill many times and just skipped it as I am not typically keen on chain restaurants. That said, we stopped there tonight for dinner and I had the poke bowl on my wife had the Atlantic salmon and we were both thoroughly impressed with our meals. The food was very fresh and flavorful, and the bread with the pesto dipping sauce that they serve complimentary was absolutely fantastic. Had dinner this evening at 5:30 pm to celebrate a couples anniversary. The food was great but the service was poor. While I was still eating, the waiter asks if we needed to go boxes. He was very quick to bring them to table and at that time, I stopped eating because we felt rushed to get out of the dining area. He never ask if we saved enough room for dessert so we went next door to get dessert. 2 of us were never asked for refill on our beverage. When you spend almost $150.00 for dinner you would expect more. On top of that, he was given a $40 cash tip. My husband and I have eaten there on special occasions and have never experienced this. This is a great place for a date or a business meeting or just a casual night out. Miles the manager and Steven the bartender are fantastic. The manager Miles is probably one of the most helpful and competent managers I have ever met. He addresses problems and resolves them within minutes. I was here for a holiday party. I got the steak, mashed potato and broccoli meal. All were cooked and seasoned well and I was definitely satisfied. I also had a brownie with ice cream and some kind of berry compote on the plate, which was well put together and decorated. We got there at 1:30 for the meal and ordered some beers. We had a big party so I know the wait time is a little longer than usual. They ended up running out of the keg for one of the beers! It was such a sad sad moment! I had high hopes, we love bonefish this was our first time at this location it was beautiful. we ordered about 7:15 my husbands tuna came out brown, should have been pink, they tried to hide it with extra garnish. We sent it back, a manager came over said sorry, few moments later our sever came said she was having our food recooked because it died in the window from being there to long. Not sure how that happened being as I could see the kitchen and the manger and our server have been in there the entire time. The restaurant is dead at this point there's a few tables that are having dessert or already eating, maybe a few tables have just walked in, definitely not busy at all. We think ok well that's nice of her, come 8 o clock we still have no food. We got a medium burger, a kids Mac and cheese and 3 bang bang chickens non of which take long. I Originally entertained the idea of coming to this establishment after being mesmerized by the lights hanging by the entrance and dragged my girlfriend through the front door. Unexpectedly had a rather great experience. As listed in my images below we tried new and seasonal items that they had available, and I was not disappointed. The Toasted Pumpkin Starter was fantastic in all regards, neither me or my partner are pumpkin people, but this with their side sauce was fantastic. As for our entrees, the chimichurri really caught my mouth off-guard, had the "From Scratch" flavoring that I absolutely love and would definitely order again. Kung pao brussels sprouts and Chilean sea bass w/lemon and capers were both absolutely delicious. Brussels sprouts were a tiny bit spicy but not burn your mouth hot. Sea bass was cooked perfectly, and had a beautiful buttery taste and texture. My husband had a pasta dish and said it was kind of "meh." The noodles were a bit over cooked (mushy), and the sauce was very watery. Overall a great dinner though, and drinks were stiff and flavorful. The blueberry lemon drop martini was delightful. They were just as good as they were 3 years ago, also had beef potstickers & sashimi tuna, tuna was great potstickers not so much. Our table was ready and we were seated upon arrival to this very modern looking location. There's plenty of parking in front and around the restaurant. Most of us had fish: fish and chips, the trout, bang bang shrimp... my husband had the pork chop which he loved (and he's pocky with his pork chops) and our 10 yr old had the chicken tenders which she loved (equally picky as her dad, so that's a good sign!). I usually order BG via DoorDash. Have only had a few minor challenges. Well, today, things went South. I have a fairly regular order. I don't know if there is new management, or if they have an issue with POC, or if they have drastically changed serving sizes, but I will not pay $30.00 for what used to be a regular size Martini both in the restaurant and for delivery when the cost used to be $15.00 for the same sized Martini. That is absurd. Plus, the Bourbon Salmon I ordered was DRENCHED in sauce. When I called to find out why I only received one martini and discuss my order, the Manager Miles was a complete jerk. He didn't like the description I was provided of him by my delivery person. Oh well. That's on him. To pay $30.00 for something that used to be $15.00 is absurd. And the Salmon was terrible. When I was trying to speak, Miles kept interrupting me. So yes, it got heated. my recommendation, is to not eat here. Or order from here. They don't know from one week to the next their sizes, the food is unreliable and Miles is kind of a jerk in my opinion. There are much better options now in Daytona Beach. read more

YUK my fish was so undercooked and slimy and just greasy and just nasty nothing tasted seasoned. The muscles felt like they were floating in coconut milk very sweet. The crabcakes were definitely not seasoned and just overcooked to me. The rice was bland. The broccoli was bland. nothing was good at all. We left half of the food on my plate as well as the to go box we ate nothing but the jasmine rice we tried to eat the fish, but we just couldn't. My stomach is killing me because we all know if you eat fish that is undercooked what will happen I'm just grateful I didn't eat it all so we came home and had to end up ordering out anyway the only thing I can say that I enjoyed was the bread and the pesto and the corn crab chowder but yeah, we won't be back read more

First time at Bonefish Grill and the experience was amazing. When my sister and I first got there a host greeted us quickly and showed us to our table. The inside was beautiful. Super clean, modern with a luxury feel. Our waiter, Richard, too greeted us warmly and quickly as he brought out some water and fresh bread while we decide what we want. We ordered the calamari appetizer which was delicious. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. It came out shortly after our drinks. After a short while, the entrees came out in which I ordered the Steak with lobster tail and my sister ordered the fresh catch Sockeye Salmon. Both dishes were delicious and would definitely recommend to ANYONE with tastebuds to give it a try. read more

Seriously, there is no better place for food, service, ambience and price. Our Valentine's Day dinner there was perfection! Mark ordered a Martini while I had their famous Smoked Old Fashion (WOW!). Decided to try the Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts and were not at all disappointed. We both decided to order the Scallops and Shrimp over Filet Mignon. The sauce was fantastic and the filet melted in one's mouth. We chose different desserts, I, the Chocolate Lava Cake and Mark, an unbelievable moist brownie with ice cream. Wow one of the worst meals we have had in along time. It was Father's Day so really didn't want to complain. My husband and son had Chilean Seabass Dave's was disgusting & my son was simi edible and so they switched plates neither was very good. I had Salmon and was very good, but Caesar salad was old & too much dressing which I asked for none or light dressing so threw that out. Oh also had coconut shrimp which is now frozen not fresh.
