Very good food and service. Had the salmon, and it was really good. And if you haven't had their brussel sprouts, you need to try them!

I have never been to bonefish grill but my partner and I decided to try something new. Upon walking into the restaurant there were nice lights and decorations. There wasn't a lot of people at the restaurant. There was a happy hour sign right in front of the door. unfortunately, we stood at the front waiting for someone to greet us for about 8 to 10 minutes. We almost left because The host sat down another table and never came back to the front. after finally sitting down they told us happy hour ended 10 minutes ago. If we were greeted and sat down when we walked in we would've made it, but who knows. On the bright side, our waitress was Bree. She was great! She was very knowledgeable and attentive. She gave a great rundown of the menu to make sure we had a full understanding of all of their seasonal items, specials, and favorites before ordering. My partner got the seasonal cedar salmon and he really liked it. The salmon was full of flavor and the only downside was the small serving of mashed potatoes. I ordered the steak and crab cake. I wish they had some sort of seasoned butter to serve with the steak. Bree told me that she could add a side of marsala sauce to go along with the steak and it was the best decision! I also liked how the green beans were not over cooked, they had a perfect crunch. We would definitely come back for happy hour and the food. read more

We ordered curbside. The person who brought out our food was wearing a mask, which was great! We ordered a two family meals, one was a family salmon and the other was the family mahi. Both of the family portions were supposed to serve 4-5 people. The fish portions were great, which is the most important portion. They only gave us one bread, for a meal that serves up to 10 people? They were also very light on sauce. I don't even eat much sauce or bread, but the meagerness of what they gave us was ridiculous. So we thought, maybe they are looking out for our health. Maybe everyone in the family doesn't need a piece of bread, I admit, I should skip the carbs and the sauce. But even the salad was very light. So we guessed that the kitchen is very generous. And maybe the server that put together the rest was the opposite? I often tip 30 when dining in, but for takeout I tip less, either way, I felt swindled today. Kudos to the kitchen in doing a great job with the fish and the sides. And to the server that wouldn't let us eat bread, sauce, or salad, may both sides of your pillow be warm for all your days. Unfortunately I won't return, because I need an appropriate amount of salad, sauce, and bread with my order. I recommend doing multiple separate orders, you might get more, because they definitely didn't adjust up for me. 5 stars to the kitchen, 1 star for the person that packed the rest. read more

Went while on spring break vacation. The food and service were great! However, the manager went around and greeted everyone at their tables except for us. He looked right us, then passed us after checking on the table in front of us, but checked on the table behind us. I'm pretty sure it was because we were the only black family in the restaurant. I would recommend for the food and service, but not while that manager is around. read more

We've been back here twice since the bad steak experience. The dinner for 2 special priced at $45 is a great deal in these times of high prices. Two salads, 2 entree choices and a dessert to share. Ordered the grilled Mahi with mango salsa, seasonal veg and jasmine rice, it was was perfect except for the raw green beans. Every restaurant these days seems to be serving raw vegetables under the guise of tender crisp or as our server called it 'al dente'. A couple of more minutes on the sauté would make a big difference. Great staff here as always. Will def be back next trip. read more

I've been to this location a few times. Every time I come it's usually for a nicer occasion to have dinner with the family. Kyle has been my waiter a few times and he is very nice and easy going. I always have a great dinner and today I had the lobster tail with potatoes and broccoli. The lobster was definitely fresh and tasted delicious and the warm butter that came out was perfect. Broccoli is always a good side choice along with their mashed potatoes. Everything was seasoned well. The place is also very clean too. I'll be back again! read more

My first time to this Bone Fish since the one in Ormond was closed. It was kind of disappointed the lobster bisque that I had was not even hot, my sirloins steak was so dry when I asked for medium. So does my friend's steak also over cooked. My son's fish taco was dry as well he told me. The crab fries was over rated, mussels Josephine was not so fresh.. The only thing was good was the bang bang shrimp. I missed the one in Ormond and the freshness of food there. Service was not that great either. Overall, I don't think I will not go back for a while. My partner in prayer and I were looking for a new brunch spot for Sunday afternoons. We were pleasantly surprised to find the "new" Bonefish Grill on ISB near the track. (I think they've been open about two months now.) Even more exciting was there are breakfast/brunch offerings on the menu...with an option for bottomless Mimosas or Bloody Marys. I should probably pause for a second to let you, the reader, know that I have based my rating on not one, but two visits, one week apart. Both times on Sunday afternoon, both times we sat at the bar. If I were rating solely on the bar service I would contact Yelp and ask how one can up their review to six stars. Both visits the servers were quick to acknowledge us, learn our names and preferences and kept our glasses full. Unfortunately, the kitchen staff let me down, not once, but on both occasions...for the same issue. Both times I ordered the BFG Tuna Steak & Eggs. For those of you that aren't familiar with grilling a tuna steak, you should put the fish down on a searing hot grill for a SHORT amount of time on each side. The center should be raw, like sushi, or the tuna will be tough and dry. That is why one should always order this fish RARE. Both times I ordered this meal it came from the kitchen WELL DONE. It should come out red in the center, not grey or brown. Anyone familiar with cooking this item would be well aware of this. On a positive note, both times that my meal came out severely overcooked the bar staff immediately acknowledged the error and returned to the kitchen so another steak could be properly prepared. This does however, tend throw off dining with companions. And the rest of your plate gets cold. The second week the manager came over to see the steak as well, probably because I was sending back the same item two weeks in a row. Again, the bar staff was phenomenal, but this place is only going to flourish if the kitchen help improves. read more

I'm going to give this location 3 stars based on this visit only because I think our server really did care and had to be the intermediary between her patrons and a painfully slow kitchen. It took far too long to get our entrees, especially since it was not a full restaurant. Two of three entrees were tasty but my son's steak was undercooked. It seemed as if they hurried his steak in order to get everything out because it was taking too long. Our server apologized two or three times for the slow kitchen, I didn't envy her. I give the kitchen 2 stars, our server 4 1/2. We have been spoiled by the efficiency and service at the location near OIA. Not as much by Daytona. read more

I WAS not a fish lover. I would only eat Shrimp, Crab and sometimes Lobster. We would go into Bonefish and I would order something from the appetizer side WELL, my husband had something that smelled unresistably delicious. I said I will try it. I did and it was incredible. We were eagerly anticipating the weekend brunch event. We arrived a few minutes before the noon start time, only to be told that we would be seated in a sequestered area that was extremely crowded and noisy, while the rest of the restaurant remained empty. Why should we pay good money for two hours of discomfort? It felt as though we were considered a burden--we were herded together like cattle. Ordered the fish and chips tonight. Calamari for an appetizer. Substituted coleslaw for the fries. Coleslaw had an odd taste. I couldn't finish it. Not very pleasant tasting. The fish (cod) was very fresh and tasty, but the tarter sauce was bland. Seems like the portion size was smaller than the last time I was there a few months ago. Most reasturants seem to be doing the same thing. Cutting back on amount of food and charging the same prices. The Calamari was spot on, but was served with some kind of spicy sauce that wasn't very good at all. If it would have been served with a marinara sauce and it would have been perfect. My wife had the chicken Marsala which was very good for a mainly seafood restaurant. One disappointment is that there are no baked potatoes on the menu. Ordered Chilean sea bass from the Daytona branch with Uber delivery. The fish was overcooked but broccoli was SO absolutely cooked to mush that I rendered it completely inedible. The accompanying bowl of chowder was a scant cup, not a bowl, and the $5+change bottle of water that I was charged for wasn't even in the bag. talk about awkward from the moment we walked in, my husband , son and I decided to have a nice dinner after walking the volusia mall. we were dressed in shorts , tshirts and sneakers , as soon as we were acknowledged by the three hosts at the door they immediately made us feel uncomfortable by staring us down. My son is 2 years old and like any child very vocal and active. I asked for a table for two & a high chair . the gentlemen that was at the door felt the need to reiterate my statement & say so table for 3. he then just stared at us for a full minute before he decided to ask if we have reservations, we did not so we answered with No. he then stated to say that it will be a 20 minute wait. my husband and I looked around and saw the restaurant was clearly empty and had available seating. I felt so uncomfortable I just walked out, my husband walked out behind me after saying we will think about it. I felt so uncomfortable and discouraged to sit down and eat, the hosts made us feel as if we werent good enough to eat at this restaurant . now given we were in shorts & t shirt's but no reason to pass judgement and discourage customers away from ur business. i will never visit this place again ! read more

I have been eating at this location for about a year now. I almost get the same thing every single time. Small grilled salmon with the lemon butter sauce (YUM) along with a vegetable and a potato..this my FAVORITE dish from here and my husband loves their smoked bourbon ..(it's super fancy lol and apparently really delicious according to him) I give 5 stars because my food is wonderful every single time. The service can be slow but honestly I don't know if they are just short staffed, or the restaurant is set up weird for servers and they don't like to bother the guests. But either way food is amazing and I have patience so still gets a 5. I drive 25 minutes each way to bring my dinner home. Totally worth it! We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here yesterday!~ What an awesome outing! We were sad about the Ormond Beach location closing but found this to be quite comfortable. Anna, our waitress was very friendly, personable and funny and knew the cocktails and menu items quite well. Our Bang-Bang shrimp was awesome with their $5 Duval and Bombay Breeze. We really couldn't decide on entree's...there were so many amazing choices on the special menu and we contemplated just ordering several appetizers. We decided on the Soy Glazed Butterfish and Chilean Sea Bass Pan Asian style (outstanding)! We chose wisely! We'll be back soon for an evening of cocktails and a variety of the appetizers. I am so excited about this addition to Daytona Beach! My girlfriends and I recently had a weekend brunch here and it was absolutely delicious. We sampled several different items on the menu and there wasn't a single thing we didn't like. The Green Eggs & Ham dish was my favorite, but you can't go wrong with the Creme Brulee French Toast or Filet & Lobster Eggs Benedict. Our cocktails were on point and I highly suggest the Blackberry Sangria, Espresso Martini, and Hawaiian Martini. They were pretty and yummy. A win-win! Was very Impressed with the food for sure had salmon portions were very good and seasoned perfect. Restaurant is very inviting and well decorated. My experience last night went far beyond the sad and real issues surrounding Covid. My server was the most unprofessional that I have ever encountered and the manager put me on the defensive for what started as a constructive criticism. A horrible experience at a restaurant chain that I watched take shape in Tampa and knew many of the people involved in its beginnings ; including the founders. First time at this location, my only other time was in Myrtle Beach. The restaurant was extremely clean and looked brand new or remodeled. The staff was very friendly and the decor was nice too. When I went, due to covid, they had a limited menu, but there was still a lot to choose from. The bread and oil they bring for the table is great. I got the house salad with grilled salmon and it was amazing. My meal was grilled fish tacos and fries. The tacos were really good and the fries were, well fries. Overall, everything was amazing and will definitely come back and would recommend to anyone. read more
