First time at this location in Maryland. We dined in Sunday lunchtime and was given the option of ordering from brunch menu or the dinner menu. I was more familiar with the dinner menu so I ordered my usual Spicy Tuna Bowl. It is marked as one of their specialty and it was decent. Couldn't tell with absolute certainty how fresh the tuna pieces were, but overall presentation and flavors were spot on. We also ordered Imperial Dip as appetizer and it was rich & creamy. It had bits of shrimp, crab & scallops and filled you up quite quickly both with the tortilla chips it came with and the loaves of bread they brought out. Our server was attentive and checked on us periodically. Overall, it was a good dining experience, although unless it's a special occasion, this is not within our budget. I was very disappointed in our evening at Bonefish. I am not sure if our waiter was new or if the training they receive at Bonefish does not include allergies or other food issues but this was horrible. I was very specific with my order asking for no rice on the plate, no sauce on the fish and to please have the fish as rare as possible. I explained that I was diabetic and was not able to eat the carbs and sauces and I did not want to be tempted to have them on my plate. I felt this was pretty straightforward. My husband ordered the same but did not ask about the fish being rare only because he forgot. When my meal came it had the rice on the plate, was overcooked and quite crispy and there was something on it although it was not the sauce. My husband's salmon was rare and the piece was about twice, if not three times the size of mine. When I asked about the fish and what it had on it he was not sure. He said he forgot about the rice so I should just eat around it. He did not care that the fish was overcooked. I own a local ice cream shop and during training, we are very specific that when it comes to allergies or other food restrictions my staff needs to listen and make sure to give the customer what they can have and what they ask for. I also make sure they know if a customer comes with someone else and they order the same thing, the ice cream should be as close to the same size as possible. I was so shocked at the difference in the size of the fish we both received. After the meal, the waiter came to the table and said he was sorry that he messed up my meal so he brought me cheesecake to take home. Not really what you should offer a diabetic as I am sorry for messing up your meal. I did contact the restaurant but heard nothing back so decided to write this review. (unfortunately Roy's Kwik Korner closes early) At Bonefish, the atmosphere is romantic with dim lighting, waiters dressed in the best chef's coats, and a nice bar area with a few TVs. We were seated immediately, which I thought was odd for the day before mothers day (and a Friday) The drinks were an OK size. As for the food, it was REAL seafood-nothing short. It took a while to be made, which gave the impression that the chef's were high quality and taking their time to make it perfect, which it was. (Except it made my date sick!) In fact I would've forgot that I was drinking a margaritaif it wasn't for the bitterness of the salt every time I took a sip. A Mamosa had more bite. I was seated immediately by the window as the sun set. My waitress was extremely professional and authentically kind. Everyone here looks so professional. I always appreciate restaurants with free bread! The bread is a soft warm crisp on the outside, doughy on the Inside loaf. It's served with a tasty flavorful oil for dipping. It was so amazing it felt like I was on a succulent date with myself. I smiled with each dip of the bread. You can't come here without ordering the bang bang shrimp for an appetizer! Beautifully coated baked shrimp piled mountainously high with lettuce. Their sauce they use is so tasty, I was licking my fingers and not minding my manners! It's a healthy portion too! Between the bread and the shrimp I was nearly full! I ordered the chicken Marsala for the entree. The chicken itself is unremarkable and smaller than I imagined. Not much flavor either. Standard fries that could use more salt but pretty tasty broccolini. It is the ambiance of the place with its lively music in the background and the lovely table setting that transport you to a wonderful place away from the hustle and bustle of busy living. Some places won't serve Chardonnay as a happy Hour wine (hello Rosa Mexicana...) but not an issue at Bonefish. The food menu was limited but after eating the codfish sliders, I had NO complaints. Good Morning, I'd like to tell you about the experience my boyfriend and I had at the Glen Burnie Bonefish grill on the evening of 10/29/2021 First I'll give you some background . We frequent the restaurant approximately once a month. We also like Carrabba's and Outback both of which we dine at as often because the food is good and atmosphere is very pleasant. We are an older couple in our 50 & 60's and like our Friday night out to one of our favorite places. My boyfriend has worked in a number of restaurants when he was younger. Brass Rail of NY, Henrysis's, Allgauer's, some fine restaurants back in the day. Just saying he understands what server's, bartender's and line cooks go through from good and bad customer's. Friday we decided to go the Bonefish as we have not been for a while. Martini's are great and the Bang Bang Shrimp are outstanding. We like to go early. We bellied up to the bar about 4:15-4:30. There were three ladies sitting together one bar stool away,  a couple a stool from them and a man 3 or 4 stools down. Not a busy time as the dinner rush hadn't started. It took probably a good 5-7 minutes for the bartender to notice us and take our drink order. She didn't seem the friendliest person but we don't get upset much in this day and age. But the problem isn't with us. The three ladies were having conversations' back and forth. Not loud by any means. The one lady furthest from us had a laugh that was a little loud but not obnoxious. The lady in the middle was talking at a very reasonable decibel level and watering down her drink with her table water. My lady and I could carry on a conversation with no problem and my boyfriend is deaf in one ear and has a hearing aid in the other. The lady closest to us was the "quiet" one. Found out she was the designated driver. The manager comes up the three ladies and states some obscure law that I never heard of and tells them they are not being served anymore! As embarrassed as I'm sure they were I was embarrassed for them. They were not loud, they were not being obnoxious, they were not out of line. If anything we all should have been complaining to the manager about the slow service with that few people in the restaurant. Sorry guy's but that Bonefish location just gave me a bad taste in my mouth. If/when I go back and that bartender or manager are still there I'll walk out. Willing to bet those ladies will never be back. Business is bad enough because of Covid. Why make it worse? read more

Bang bang shrimp was BOMB! We got rainbow trout, it did not have any flavor, all the flavor was in the artichoke on top, ha. The breading was nice, but no flavor whatsoever. The mashed potatoes were great, well seasoned and buttery! We also got a small steak with a crab cake. The steak was exactly what you'd want in a steak. Juicy, well seasoned, nicely medium rare, and made me want more. The crab cake was kinda sad because of how small it was and fell apart, but it did taste like crab. There was also a key-lime cake. The cake slice was big, but it was sour. The frosting was really sugary and had most of the key-lime flavor to it. The first bite was nice. The cheese cake was better than the key-lime cake. The service could have been better and more professional from the bartenders behind the bar. As we sat listening to them talk about social media and their latest snap chat antics. And disappointed happy hour menus were not given to us, but were presented to the couple who sat next to us. Stay away! I ordered food yesterday (5/13/2020). The gentlemen on the phone..rude and impatient .. then when I walked in to pick up my food I received looks from the staff that was sitting in the booths like I was bothering them for coming in. I ordered bang bang shrimp , and the shrimp and scallops meal with mashed potatoes and broccoli... the shrimp and scallops were good and appeared to be fresh but the bang bang shrimp... DISAPPOINTED. Mind you I only live 5 mins away, the shrimp were cold and old and the bread they give you on the side was rock hard. I know we're all going through things during these trying times of COVID19 but a little respect or smile doesn't hurt anyone . I was actually okay with the almost 30 min wait for a table because I figured long wait means great food.. or so I thought. Our waiter was friendly and explained some of the specials. I ordered the crab cake entree and my husband ordered the shrimp stuffed with lobster. Overall the meal was mediocre nothing spectacular. We had a gift card we were given for xmas so we weren't to upset with the overall $75 dollar dining experience or so we thought. Upon our trip home we both started feeling very sick to our stomachs and spent the remainder of the evening in the bathroom. I'm not sure what the deal was since we both had entirely different entrees but I feel like something had to of been going wrong in that kitchen. The night started out to be an One-Star event. We were seated promptly but no one came to greet or give us water for like 10 minutes.
