We wanted to have a nice Valentine's Date and chose Bonefish Grill for the evening experience. I'm glad we had reservations as other guest had decided to enjoy a wonderful Valentine's Date. We were seated immediately and our server Ryan brought fresh bread, and olive oil with fresh herb to dip our bread in. After reviewing the menu we decided on the following. 1. Lobster Bisque served with another toasted olive oil season. However the toast with hard as a rock and not very appealing. 2. We ordered the buttery fish with crab and two sides - fresh steamed asparagus and coleslaw. We asked if they could split the order as we don't eat very much. We received our order within a few minutes and we were surprised as to the excellent taste of the fish. It had a outstanding buttery flavor with the right amount of season. The two sides were prepared properly. The asparagus was steamed to the correct doneness. The coleslaw had an excellent light balsamic flavor that enhanced the coleslaw. Our server, Ryan ensured that we were well taken care of. It was a wonderful and memorable Valentine's Dinner. read more

Dinner for two on Valentines Eve. We had a 5:30 reservation, but decided to remain in the bar area as we had a good waiter (Salvio) and there was more action. Ordered a three martini flight and a smoked old fashion. Both were very good. Had to follow up the old fashion with a bourbon and the wife added a vodka soda. It was happy hour so we added a small order of calamari. Calamari was okay, small pieces accompanied by a good sauce. Bread came rolling through and it was perfect, a little crusty on the outside and very soft in the middle. More bread appeared just as we finished the first portion. They had a nice Valentines promotion, choice of salad, a choice of several entrees, and a slice of cheese cake. I had the house salad and the wife had the Caesar. Both were good, served in a nice cold bowl and all elements were fresh. I had the Mahi Mahi Oscar. Perfectly prepared, moist, a nice creamy white sauce, a couple of shrimp, and asparagus. Comes with a choice of sides. This was the only negative. Choose the rice and mashed potatoes. I'm tired of broccoli. I suppose it holds up better on the steam table, but... Both the rice and the garlic mashed potatoes were terribly bland. The wife had the salmon on a cedar plank with a cherry bourbon sauce. Again, perfectly prepared. She also opted for the garlic mashed potatoes and was it supposed to be jasmine rice? We took the cheesecake home and ate it this afternoon - delicious. All in all it was a good night. Lunch treat from a co-worker because I wanted seafood but the restaurant we were going to didn't serve seafood at lunch. So she suggested this restaurant and it sounded good. Shared parking but we found a spot and went in to wait for someone to seat us. It was quiet and no hostess up front. Finally two servers came over and showed us to a booth. They brought menus and asked us for our drink orders. She went with iced tea and I had water. We chose the mussels Josephine and imperial dip appetizers to start with while we perused the menu for entrees. We both decided on the tuna poke bowl from the lunch menu. The pesto was delicious. She proclaimed it the best thing she'd eaten after we sampled all the appetizers. I had to agree. It was zesty and had good flavor. Light and not too oily. The bread was soft inside and crusty outside. Great for dipping and soaking up the pesto. The mussels were good but many were closed so not edible. The dip was average. It wasn't my fav. The seasoned tortilla chips were tasty but I didn't care for the seafood blend in it. The tuna poke bowls were on point. Fresh tuna with a soft texture. Not too saucy and the combination of red onions, peppers, cilantro and sesame seeds added to the yumminess of the dish. The slices of cucumber were odd. I would have preferred thinner slices or just added to the other veggies. The rice was not as soft as jasmine rice could be but I ate it as I was hungry. What did I think of the meal? Good service and a good meal. The server was training another and they both checked on us enough. Refilled my water just as I was going to ask for more. They decorated the take out container for my friend and it was cute. I like the date on the box because it lets you keep track of when to eat the food. Seated promptly with reservations at a large, softly lit booth. Restaurant was quiet, so conversations were easier even though almost full on a Wednesday night. Older crowd. Excellent and competent waiter who was very attentive to wife's allergies which preclude most choices at most restaurants. Wait staff seemed well trained and happy to be there. It's been a while since we went to Bonefish in the tech center, and we were very disappointed. It was my wife's birthday, so we were out with friends. There were five of us. We went on Sunday night - I had made reservations and mentioned several times that it was my wife's birthday to the person who took our reservations. We arrived on time and the place wasn't very busy - maybe two booths and a table. They sat us in front of the huge picture window radiating the freezing cold. An empty restaurant and our small party of 5 is in front of the window? Our server was off - he seemed sick, as several times he was off running to "cough it out." In the middle of taking our order, he excused himself to go cough. I hope he washed his hands every time. If your sick, go home dude... We ordered three appetizers - the calamari, the potstickers and the bang bang shrimp. Calamari was really good, but the potstickers were swimming in a soy mixture that looked like burnt soup and made everything soggy and salty, and the bang bang shrimp had more mayonnaise sauce on it than shrimp, so much so that my guest joked about "a little shrimp with the mayo". Dinner arrived staggered, three of us got severed before the other two, and everything felt like it had been sitting. The steak was overdone, the fish all looked and tasted old and the clam's linguine was sitting in a pool of thin, soupy sauce. Kitchen was definitely off. As we were in a celebratory mood, we didn't sent anything back, but my orange roughy was awful - cold, flimsy and just didn't taste right. The herbed potato side was covered in a garlic mayo (aioli) and again, there was an equal amount mayo and potatoes. Everyone ate about 1/2 their food and the table was cleared and our server asked if we wanted any dessert. I mentioned to him that it was my wife's birthday and he goes "oh yeah yeah" and asked what we wanted. Then, he ran through the list of options and ran off to get the menus. One dessert menu for the whole table? Desserts arrived staggered again, three of us got served WELL before the last two, but desserts were good. The lava cake, the brownie and the cheese cake were good. No "happy birthday" to my wife from the server or runners. Nothing special for her. Not even a mention when the desserts arrived. It was very disappointing. We won't be back any time soon. It was a memorable night, but not for the right reasons. Note to staff: If you are sick, stay home and stay away from my food, dudes. I woke up feeling ill the next day and my guests all privately texted me that "something was off" with the food and restaurant. We got cod and salmon as entrees and the portion of the cod was very small and the salmon was overcooked and tasted burnt. Sides were steamed broccoli and plain, dry white rice? Could have made it better at home for $30 tops alongside a 6 pack of beer. Before the entrees, the bread and pesto that they give you for the table was very good, but we got the popular bang, bang shrimp and felt it was just drenched in mayo... not our thing. So I mean, it was a good dining experience and all but the food was pretty lame and I can't really think of a reason to go back. The host explained that some tables were taking a long time to finish and suggested that I could walk over there and tell them to hurry up. Not my job. There were empty tables, but the host explained it didn't matter because their waiters were understaffed. This is what reservations are supposed to allow you to prepare for. As to the food, it is good but not exceptional across the board. The portions of fish are OK but not generous. I wish I could say get the pineapple shrimp with coconut risotto topped with macadamia nuts, but it was a daily special. If you find it, get it! The shrimp and scallops were also delectable. The bacon Mac n cheese has real, crispy delicious bacon on top creamy while macaroni. And the Bang Bang shrimp was irresistible!!! Always order that. The service was slower than I wanted but efficient. I knew I was waiting for fresh cooked food, and it was worth the wait. Our server was cordial and kind. I had the crab cake & sirloin combo with double mash potatoes and it was pretty great! The crab cake I wish was bigger but it was still good nonetheless. My steak came out perfect medium rare and the mash potatoes has a good garlic flavor that's not overwhelming and very creamy. The service was excellent as well. They stopped by every 10-15 minutes or so to check in and I never had to ask for a refill. The place is a bit more on the upscale classy vibe to it, which I didn't really mind. read more

Bonefish has gone down hill over the last few years, especially this location. The portions are extremely small. I think I got maybe 12 french fries with my last meal. Our office went to bonefish in the tech center for lunch. We got there at 11 o'clock no other tables in the restaurant we place our order. We didn't even get our soup and salad for 40 minutes then our food came out 45 minutes later we had to get it to go. They said they had a big catering. For $6 we also added bangbang shrimp. Yum! We both had the house salad (the other option was a caesar). I really enjoyed the pumpkin seeds and heart of palms (?). Light, crispy and super fresh. I tried their lobster which was heavenly with their melted butter. My bf had the steak, which was super thick! For desert we had the macadamia nut brownie and coconut pie. Both super rich and worth every bite of calories. I love the ganache on the brownie! The service was really good and very accommodating. The atmosphere was bubbly and upbeat! Bonefish is an interesting upper-scale chain. Really warm cozy setting with solid happy hour offerings until 6:30. I feel this place is really pricier though than $$ conveys on the listing, and the setting is more adult and high end. Went with the Atlantic Wolffish & Lobster Roulade from their specials menu, which had a slight kick of spice, lightly fishy taste, but overall good. The Caesar side salad was sheer perfection served on a chilled plate with the perfect amount of dressing and super crispy romaine. An interesting "problem" was that they were so fast here. My salad was out seconds after my order went in, and my main came out as I was taking my second bite on my salad, so I felt a little rushed, but otherwise good service and good food. They have rotating daily specials worth checking out online to pick a night to drop in. read more

Ughhhh I am so disappointed. We had not been out to eat in months and were craving our favorite Bonefish dishes. Once we arrived at the restaurant I immediately noticed that our two favorite things, that we always order were not on the menu. The ahi tuna sashimi and the saucy shrimp. The waiter said the ahi is one of their most popular dishes so it will be back on the menu soon. Why would you remove one of your most popular items?!? I have been ordering that at bonefish for over 10 years. After burying our sorrows of no ahi with a couple of cocktails, we ordered the Imperial Dip and the Bang Bang shrimp. The Imperial Dip was not good at all. Honestly, I'm not even sure why they even serve it. It was a gross cheesy mess with a few shrimp thrown in. The dip was listed in the "Specials Menu" and on the regular menu which makes it not that special. Since our appetizers were not good and our favorite dishes removed from the menu, we decided to skip dinner and go home disappointed. We have eaten at Bonefish a lot over the years...but last night was a very disappointing visit. We ordered calamari appetizer which they brought twice overcooked and third time replaced it with one where they had barely cooked it and the coating tasted quite doughy. Two of our party had the green beans with their meal, which were barely cooked. El dente does NOT mean barely cooking...the veggies still need to be cooked and not almost raw! None of us were blown away by our entrees...they each seemed to be quite mediocre in quality. I had the featured lobster ravioli....which would have benefited greatly if they lost the green onions and served with steamed asparagus tips instead. The sauce also was quite gutenous and would have been better not so thick and maybe a bit of lemon zest for more brightness. All around disappointed! read more

The place was about 30% full on a Thursday night, before Good Friday. The hostess tried to sit us right next to the restrooms, but I stopped her and asked to sit somewhere else. We sat near the wall at a great table. Our waiter was top shelf, he was there right away and was incredibly attentive and professional. He got an A plus. The food was a nice try but everything was salty. The calamari was tender but salty, the Ahi Poke bowl was better than ok, but too much sauce. Visited a few times recently at this GV location. Arrived with a group of six and Logan went above and beyond. Kept everything straight and had no problem splitting checks. Checked in with our table numerous times despite being crowded and not fully staffed. Visited again with a friend and received excellent service from Aidan. Aidan was quite conscientious about checking on us and providing good recommendations for our selections. He continued to check in with us even after he ended serving the dining room and went to the bar to bartend. Both Logan and Aidan were professional, helpful and pleasant. The crab cakes are always excellent. Not overdone with breadcrumbs or mix. Try the fall 2023 special of the pumpkin ravioli. Quite tasty. It's really the food and the service that makes the place good or bad. Bonefish lately is hitting it out of the park. read more

After our last experience, Bonefish reached out and invited us back. I'm pleased to say that last night we had a much improved experience! I had the mahi mahi and it was cooked perfectly. Hubs had Imperial cod and enjoyed it. Our friend had the fish and chips and said they were great and crispy. Our only complaint is that the standard sides are a bit boring. I upgraded to the crispy Brussels sprouts and they were great. Thanks BF, for inviting us to try again. We'll definitely be back. read more

I'd never been to Bonefish before as it's a bit upscale for my tastes and budget, but a friend had kindly given me a $10 off promo card so I was excited to give it a try. I called on 3/28 or 3/29 to order a brunch entree to go, but the women that answered said they weren't doing brunch at this time due to Coronavirus/a limited menu. No biggie. I ended up placing an order over the phone on 3/30 for the lunch Lily's Chicken (with broccoli and mashed potatoes) for pick up. The man who answered was super nice but said he was in back or somewhere where he couldn't tell what the total cost would be and he expected the only option would be the dinner pricing, but would I like to wait for him to check? I said it was fine either way. They were still ironing out the new practices with the Covid-19 to go/take out situation I think. I'd imagine it definitely isn't the kind of place that normally does much (or any) take out. I picked up my food and it was excellent, beyond what I had expected. I am still thinking about that chicken with the spinach and also the mashed potatoes. Just to be nice, he also gave me a free cookie. I didn't realize that they include free bread too! I expect the same man that answered the phone, probably the manager, gave me my food, and he was incredibly gracious and personable. Unfortunately the place was empty and I expect I was the first (only?!) order of the day, and this was definitely in the afternoon. The cost for my meal including tax was $21.55, before my $10 off. Therefore it just isn't somewhere I would go regularly, but I'd go back for a treat or to take my mom out for a nice dinner for sure. read more
