I really enjoyed my first time here. I started off the night with the Lamb Lollipop Chops, small but very tender. I don't eat pork very often, but their Fontina Pork Chop which is a boneless pork chop, Fontina cheese, garlic, prosciutto, mushroom marsala wine sauce was very good. This was the best pork chop I've ever had. I almost passed out with the first bite. I suggest pairing it with sautéed spinach & potatoes au gratin. The waiter was very helpful in describing the entrees & how they are cooked. I think the price matches the quality of the food. I'll definitely be back. read more

Food tasted like the old cafeteria food. I've only eaten there twice and didn't like either meal.

The food was very good. But... server was awful. Ordered special. Didn't bring steak sauce. Had no opinion on wine choice cause " I'm only 20". Bill came and was overcharged $9 cause " we ran out of specials so I gave better steak". Never told us that. Our Bill had other couples appetizer. I gave him $100 for $75 bill and he didn't bring change. Assumed $25 tip?? When I asked for it he gave me back $15. When I asked for other $10 he gave it and said he was bad at math, other couples coffee was cold, their Bill had our wine on it. On way out we talked to manager and she asked if " anything I can do?" Instead of just offering a token gift card or something instead of making us ask for something... which we didn't. If this was lower end restaurant I'd maybe accept that service but here? Very poor training at least and when 4 people spend $200 on meal I expect better. read more

We always enjoy BG around the country, and this was our first trip to this one. We came for a late lunch, and both of us selected a dish off the lunch menu. My wife chose the lobster flatbread and I the fish & chips. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. When I asked about the fish, she said it was tilapia, aquaculture raised. That was new to me but is apparently a hybrid of farm raised & "free range". Our order took a bit longer than it does normally, and they weren't particularly busy. But upon arrival, I was pleased with the fish n chips. Well prepared, very hot (temp), with pleasing crispness and firm mild texture/flavor. But the flatbread was drenched with roumalade sauce, and on the limp side. Flavor was OK, but overall could have been better. I would've asked for less sauce or on the side. This was our first visit to Bonefish Grill in Turkey Creek, although we have been to other locations. This visit surpassed our every expectation! We got a friendly greeting as we walked in from the cold. The restaurant was extremely clean as were the restrooms. Our server Kelsey was attentive and prompt. The manager, Rachael Shahbas, came to our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. I noticed her visiting each table to check on everyone. She was called away a few times to deal with other things, yet she returned each time. I love when the manager comes out to visit. Rachael greeted us with a smile and made us laugh and suggested dessert must-haves. She knew the menu and specials and was able to recommend anything we asked her about and more. The staff seemed cohesive and happy to be at work! The food was incredible as well. I told the manager what I liked in a drink from the bar, and without hesitation, she went to the bar and ordered a fantastic Rum Punch for me! As far as seafood restaurants goes, Bonefish Grill does an acceptable job at providing a pleasant, up-scale(ish) dining experience for your friends or family. The service here is attentive and helpful. Our waitress was phenomenal in making sure our drinks were always full, and she was very accommodating anytime we had a request for additional sauces, drinks, etc. She did forget to put in one of our orders, but once she realized her mistake, she was able to get the dish out to us within 10 minutes. In my personal opinion, the appetizers here get you the most bang for your buck. The famous Bang Bang Shrimp is great if you want a creamy, spicy, and mildly sweet kick to your seafood, and the Singapore Calamari comes with enough fried octopus and peppers to feed 3 - 5 people pretty comfortably. I would warn against the Ahi Tuna Sashimi however. The tuna did not seem terribly fresh and you do not get many pieces for the price. Entree-wise, all of the fish courses tasted fine, but nothing is going to blow you away. I had the Longfin Tilapia Imperial, which I thought was fairly good. I particularly enjoyed the creaminess of the sauce that covered the fish, and the entree itself was pretty filling because the tilapia was stuffed with other forms of seafood as well. The vegetable side dishes were pretty sub-par. For the most part, they were all bland and undercooked. Three stars for the holistically average experience I had here. read more

I usually have a great experience at BG, unfortunately last night the experience went in the wrong direction. Ordered the Ahi (rare) and it came through fully cooked, generally not a big deal. It was taken back to the kitchen. A new piece came out, it looked much better, however was on the same plate at the previous. Not sure but restaurant 101 would say to at least put it on a new plate. The second piece was unfortunately spoiled, it had a very fishy smell, very similar to rotten meat. The taste was also not what Ahi should taste like. What I find unfortunate for this location,the manager never once came over and apologized. It was taken off my check and I finished sharing my wife's dinner which was great. I am associating this with only this Turkey Creek location and bad management. read more

My husband and I have long been regulars at Bonefish in Indianapolis, but the Turkey Creek one didn't measure up. We went for our anniversary. In the past, they'd bring out a little strawberry thing after the meal when we were there for that occasion. This time, nothing, even though they had asked on the phone if we were coming for an occasion when we made reservations. My husband's meal was not very good. Not only that, it was small. Even after two rounds of bread and dinner, he was still hungry. My meal was good, but also small, and I'm a small female. They didn't give me one of my sides--just completely it left off. For the price, the meal should have been more substantial. Then they made a mistake on our bill--charged my husband for his side, despite that one side should have been included. We sat there and waited for awhile for that error to be corrected. We ended up going to Dairy Queen for dessert, and won't go back to this Bonefish, and maybe not to any Bonefish. At $60, it was too much of a disappointment, and for the future, it will be too expensive an experiment. read more

We dined here and ordered a few of the happy hour bar bites and cocktails. The raspberry vodka Collins was fizzy and refreshing with fresh berries. We decided to split the calamari, bang bang shrimp and mussels Josephine. I think everyone knows how good the bang bang shrimp tastes! The mussels Josephine is my personal favorite and I love to sop up all the lemon garlic broth with the fresh bread they bring to the table. The calamari was perfectly cooked and the dipping sauce was awesome. The bar bites are only $6 and the happy hour drinks are only $5. Definitely a great happy hour deal. read more

The food was reasonably good if a bit overpriced, but it seems Bonefish has a coupon scam going on. Waitress picked up our 2 for1 coupon as soon as we were seated, but presented us with a bill for the full amount when we were finished. When questioned, she immediately returned with the correct bill. I guess they figure that you'll forget about the coupon after a drink or two (also over priced). Maybe such behavior explains why the dining room was mostly empty during peak dinning time. read more

Ordered bang bang tacos with greens on side (option was chips or greens). I received fish tacos and full house salad. Told waiter of mistake so he brings me a small bowl of greens while waiting on the tacos and then I find banana peppers in the tacos. Done-done-done. I didn't want anything for free, I wanted what I ordered and the manager wants to give me a free desert. How about giving me a dinner first. Best service I've had in turkey creek in a long time! Our server, Chris, greeted us immediately, and after he told us the specials, we decided to start with the Bang Bang Shrimp (highly recommend) and Sashimi to start with. When we both decided on the special, he recommended an excellent wine to compliment our dishes. My partner and myself noticed his impressive knowledge of the menu items and ingredients. After dinner, he recommended key lime pie and brownies to finish us off (as if my waistband wasn't already furious enough!). As it was a business meeting, we did happen to stay a bit later than his other tables. I was concerned, but Chris assured us that we could take our time, something that really helped me relax in the rigid business atmosphere. Bonefish for brunch is lacking, which is too bad, because the atmosphere is relaxed, the restaurant comfortable, and the menu is limited enough everything should be top-notch. Maybe it is playing to the all-you-can drink crowd, but maybe they should just try harder. My crab omelet was rubbery and only warm; a sure sign it stayed out, or in the skillet too long, or some other sign of expediter neglect. S/o's Benedict was only adequate, and other life unit's chicken was not worth taking home. Service was fine. Prices reasonable. Brunch could be a highlight here, and I hope it is one day. read more

I've been to other Bonefish locations and they're all pretty much the same experience food and service wise. I equate it to an "Olive Garden for Seafood" - on this evening I had the lobster grilled cheese and it was marginally good. The lobster and cheese both seemed over-processed but it was edible and I wasn't expecting more than I got. Surprised to see there aren't more reviews/better reviews for this place. Yes it's a chain but here in land-locked knoxville we don't have a ton of great options for seafood and this is one of the better ones in west knoxville. Shuck's is very good but it's quite a bit east has a more limited menu actually. This place is a decent seafood place, prices are reasonable for sea food which tends to be more expensive than your typical restaurants. I have not been a huge fan of their asian-fusion attempts, my mom ordered this noodle bowl once that was pretty awful but if you stick to fish, crab, lobster (aka, traditional seafood) dishes they are always very good. Their beer selection is decent and I like their cocktails. Their bread is very good. I like that you can add a salad to your mean for not much extra and they are very good. I usually leave there feeling that I ate well and healthy which is a good combination! I don't think its fair to call it an olive garden for sea food, its definitely better than olive garden but i would not attempt to stay its up to par with a great seafood place and if we lived in a city with better access to the ocean I would say it was less than average but we don't and it's relevant to judge restaurants compared with other options in the area. read more

I came here for Easter, ugh, big regret!! The food was TASTELESS!! Like did they ban salt and pepper in the kitchen or what? My mom and I both ordered the Chilean sea bass. I've had Chilean sea bass plenty of times at other restaurants. Unfortunately, the one at Bonefish Grill was definitely the Worst. I don't even think the fish they served us was sea bass. Anyway, it had no flavor at all. My moms fish was rubbery and uncooked. We told the waitress and she asked us "so what needs to be done? It needs to be cooked more or what??" Um duh Einstein! So she takes my moms plate. My mom also asked for rice but they put mashed potatoes on her plate and we told the waitress. The waitress brought out a bowl of rice. Then the waitress brings back the SAME EXACT plate with my moms food w the fish "cooked more". I have NEVER seen service like that; you're always given a new plate/new food. But the BEST part....they scraped off the mashed potatoes from the plate...UN-BE-LIEV-ABLE!!! LMAO, we were shocked and disgusted. Was it really that serious??! LOL! I hope they didn't serve it to someone else. The waitress was so dry and rude, I wish I knew her name. The manager was pretty friendly and nice. He tried to make things better by bringing my mom a free bowl of soup. I ordered chicken tenders for my daughter from the kids meal. Those tenders were the best thing on the table. It's as good as any other Bonefish I've been to. It seems like they're consistently busy. The fish was fresh, we have been twice with my in laws. I always enjoy the bang bang shrimp, I had the tuna special which was delicious. While being busy is good for them, the restaurant feels crowded to me for what is supposed to be a slightly upscale dining experience so we only tend to go when invited by others. read more
