Our server, Andrew, was very attentive (I think he touched our table every single time he passed us) and super upbeat. We could tell the staff here have a good time with each other. Their laughing/shouting back and forth to each other (for more ice at the bar, etc.) and even occasional singing (don't get me wrong -- we loved it) gave the place a very casual, laid back, sports bar kind of atmosphere. This isn't the vibe I was expecting, but it worked for our chill date night. Certainly not a complaint. The lost stars are strictly for the food. The sauce for the mussels was a lot sweeter than I expected. It left an odd aftertaste which was a bit off-putting for me. The swordfish and the lobster tail were both a bit overdone, leaving the swordfish dry and the lobster tough. It wasn't the freshest lobster either, but that's to be expected when it comes with a permanent price tag, rather than a fluctuating market price stamp you expect with good lobster. We had the brownie for dessert as well. The brownies (we guessed) are shipped to the restaurant frozen, not made from scratch in the kitchen, but it was tasty either way! The appetizers were great, the food was delicious, our waitress Jackie was phenomenal, and the manager was incredibly friendly personally greeting us and ensuring that our needs were met. Had a nice meal in the summer and took advantage of the outdoor seating area. We ordered 2 crab cakes but they did not look similar at all. One was very nicely cooked with a little crisp on the outside and the other was very light and a bit mushy. For the entree, I had a mixed dish with mahi mahi and shrimp that was good and came with a side of rice and broccoli. Great atmosphere though a bit small on the inside, it's still a great place for family, friends, or date nights. The drinks are great, I enjoyed the new Pineapple Martini along with my entree. Service was good, usually on busier nights it can be a bit slow but just have patience for your waiter/waitress. If it's cold outside, it can be a bit chilly if you're seated near the to-go door or the front - there may be a breeze. Although next time we agreed to order the fries and a normal Bang Bang Shrimp. For our entree we had Atlantic Salmon with fries and green beans. We tried all of the sauce options and they were pretty good. The Salmon was cooked nicely and grilled perfectly. The green beans however were almost flavorless. I was looking forward to trying Bonefish but this visit came up very short for my mom and I. The bang bang shrimp appetizer is really good. It has the perfect amount of spice and sauce. They also give you a good portion. The complimentary bread and oil was tasty too. Unfortunately our main entrees were terrible. We both ordered the fish and chips and man are looks deceiving. The breading was lacking seasoning and fell right off the previously frozen garbage pieces of cod. The fish was absolutely disgusting. It tasted like tough rubber. It was not fresh by any means. It tasted like it sat in the freezer for months and was just dethawed. It was almost inedible. I wouldn't recommend Bonefish. Went on Memorial Day for dinner. Food was great - all four ordered dishes were prepared just right. The portions are also just right - there was nothing left to take home, which I wouldn't like to do with seafood anyway. Service - our server was very understanding with us (we took a long time to decide and also had some special requests), and he didn't bother us excessively. I hate it when servers stop by every 3-4 bites to ask if everything is ok! That's not to say he was inattentive- just that he didn't bug us :) With all these positives, why am I giving only 4 stars? When we walked in, we asked to be seated outside because the inside looked very cramped and way too dim. Luckily, a table was available outside. The tables are set very close together, and we were just lucky that the party next to us only had 2 people - otherwise, it would have been very uncomfortable to sit at the table. Finally, the worst thing was the noise. One source was the restaurant's speakers: the music was too loud for dinner guests (later at night, after a few drinks have been had, music can be turned up...). The second source was the incredibly busy street that the restaurant's patio is facing. Maybe it was just a popular night for motorcyclists and drag racers, but it made conversation VERY difficult. I don't know how feasible this is, but I'd hope the restaurant considers planting a row of shrubbery or something that would dampen those sounds One more nice thing was that the manager did a round of walking from table to table and asking if things were OK. I appreciated that he did that with minimal disturbance to us (no sitting down at the table with us like I experienced elsewhere). read more

We had reservations on a Friday night. When we arrived it was absolutely packed. We were right on time and they said it would be a 20 minute wait and we could wait at the bar? The manager witnessed what happened and approached us and when I told him our frustration he immediately called over his wait staff and cleared a table to seat us immediately. He apologized for any frustration and I got to give him credit he saw a problem an rectified it right away. The food and service were great despite how busy it was. Only recently have i discovered the true hot spot - the bar. The bartenders are terrific and the happy hour menu runs for two hours. My son got the steak and shrimp, which he said was good as well. He did order the Mac and cheese. We didn't care for it at all. It was dry and had very little cheese. My daughter ordered the Bang-Bang fries . They were topped with the bang-bang sauce and crab meat, they were a hit. We all ordered drinks. My son had a lemon-drop martini. He loved it. My daughter and I ordered the crushed pineapple martini. It's definitely one the top of the list of one of the best martinis I ever had.
