Each month Bonefish features a specialty 4 course menu where each course is paired with an alcoholic beverage. This month's theme was prisoner of love. Of course because it is the month of love!! The month the courses were paired with a wine. You must arrive on time as the courses all come out at the same time. I truly enjoyed the experience and even dined at a shared table with a nice couple. I think the service could be a little better if they served the wine first then the food. We often got the course first and had to wait for the wine. Outside of that small detail it was a fun event. They raffled off vouchers for dinner on another night which was a great addition! Next event is 3/20/25. Featured beverage is martinis!! Check out their website!

First time visiting this location. We decided to grab dinner here because it's a chain so we knew what we were getting. The bread never disappoints. First can I point out a small thing that makes such a difference when dining out especially when it visibly not busy? When we were welcomed in at the host stand we were greeted with this response when I said "2 please." Hostess said "Absolutely, right this way." It really was refreshing as apprised to "do you have a reservation?" The dining room seemed to have a few too many tables and not enough booths. It was quiet when we were there but I imagine it gets loud when they are busy. Service was great. The bread is awesome as always. The corn and crab chowder was a bit too spicy for me and the broccoli was way too Al dente. Too full for dessert. Dine rewards are still accepted there which is great.

I really wanted to enjoy this more but the Baja Scallops and Shrimp Scampi was a bit underwhelming. The scallops were very small. The sauce relied to heavily on old bay seasoning, lemon and garlic. Maybe it wasn't old bay but that's what it tasted like. I'm a big fan of garlic but this sauce had way to much. This dish had potential but the effort fell short. The Mussels Josephine was delicious in every way. The flavor of the sauce was well balanced and elevated. The crab fries were really good. You get plenty and lots of crab to top it off. The bang bang sauce is a nice compliment to the dish.

Rainbow trout. Looks far, far better than it tasted.

This wasn't good. We got takeout. We started with calamari. It was a pretty mediocre calamari. A little too much grease. A little too much breading. And served with a sweet sauce that was pretty unappealing. Marinara or aioli would have been better. As mediocre as it was the calamari was the highlight of the meal. My rainbow trout was just bad. It was dry and overcooked. I ordered it with a lemon butter caper sauce. I could see the sauce but I couldn't taste it at all. No flavors of lemon, caper, or even butter. It was strange. The whole thing just tasted like burnt charred trout skin. I got it Oscar style, which means it is was topped with a few anemic asparagus spears and a very small handful of what I would describe as utterly flavorless crab crumbles. Sides of green beans and mashed potatoes were also lacking in flavor. My wife said that the cole slaw was mayo-based but suspiciously sour. She tossed it. Bad meal, especially for the price. I won't be back.

Our family 1st time try this restaurant, we had a wonderful dinner tonight! The receptionist was very friendly, she gave crayons, painting paper for my two kids. I requested to sit in the booth. Our server Maya (Hope I'm spelling correct) was very friendly, helpful, excellent customer service. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. The food was great with reasonable prices. Only my Sirloin is a bit overcooked (requested for medium well). Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and the restaurant experience! Will definitely come back!

Made a reservation for 6:15, and can't see being seated prior to 7:15. Completely overbooked! No good, not fair to diners!

Is this place good to bring kids?

Not really! They don't have a kids menu that I saw and the inside isn't very kid friendly. High tables and booths and intimate lighting.

This time, I confirmed with the waitress how it would be prepared, but what came out was completely different, filleted with a tomato based sauce, peppers, and onions. I told them that was not what we discussed and made it clear I'm allergic to tomatoes. I was told it wouldn't be a problem to make the fish I actually requested. Instead of remaking the dish, they took the same fish back, removed the toppings, left the tomato residue and brought it back out with the same side; including cold rice. After I clearly stated an allergy, serving the same fish with the tomato residue is unacceptable. This was careless and disappointing. If a customer mentions a food allergy, the dish should be remade, not modified and sent back out.

I needed a glass of wine to wash away my photo-sorrow. But boy did our meal make up for it.... talk about a great unexpected find. We opened with the claims in white wine and garlic, was a bit on the salty side but was still a welcome opener and we dunked their fresh bread until it was gone. We then shared the Mediterranean Meatballs, wow, nice texture, soft not hard, flavorful. Nice dish. For our entree we shared the veal marsla which was accompanied by roasted potatoes and asparagus and the penne vodka... both were delicious and pretty platting presentations. The food had both highlights and disappointments: * Lobster Ravioli: Tasted very good, although the portion was small. The sauce was flavorful and enjoyable. * Cioppino: This was the standout dish of the evening. It was loaded with delicious seafood, and while the pasta was slightly overcooked, it was still a very good meal. * Penne alla Vodka: The sauce was delicious and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked, but we still enjoyed the dish overall. * Caprese Salad: This was disappointing. The mozzarella balls tasted like they came straight from a container, the tomato wedges were not ripe, and instead of fresh basil there was a dark green paste-like topping. It did not taste fresh. * Chicken Parmigiana: This was the weakest dish we tried. The chicken was neither crispy nor particularly tender or flavorful, and the penne pasta was very soft and overcooked. Bread with olive oil was provided, but salads were not included and had to be ordered separately. Overall, this is a decent restaurant with excellent service and some very flavorful dishes, but consistency in the food and pasta preparation could be improved.

When we mentioned we do not know the brand to look, she replied "me neither, I threw out the box." Needless to say - the food is great, but honestly, the family owned business officially sucks. There's a way to respond to things and that just isn't it. Especially as someone taking orders. So thank you for ending this streak for us. The crap service made it easy to make this place a 1 star.
