Not the greatest experience. Our server seemed to be overloaded even though the restaurant wasn't very busy (understaffed?). Took a while to get our food order in after ordering drinks. The drinks were great, as was the bread and oil dip. We ordered the "for two" special which included a variety of seafood entrees. We are not huge seafood eaters but everything offered sounded delicious and the price was great so we went with it. It took quite a while to get our food and surprisingly it was lukewarm and the shrimp were actually under cooked, and everything else overcooked - dry and bland. When our server finally came to check on us we told him about the shrimp and he promptly returned with freshly fully cooked shrimp that were delicious. This was our first time at Bonefish Grill and will be our last. While service was slow our server was knowledgeable and friendly so nothing against him, but the food sucked. read more

(Old review posted late). Like most Bonefish Grills, this one had a high end vibe to the service and atmosphere. Menu had many great items to choose from. Tuna had wasabi which made it inedible for us unfortunately, but the rest of the seafood special was great. If you want a standardized semi premium meal, it's a good bet. read more

I ordered take out via DoorDash for Ahi tuna appetizer. Price was very reasonable for the amount I received. There were 4 things that came with it, wasabi. I really wanted to like this restaurant. I went to a BF, in Las Vegas, and it was excellent. Every time I visit this location I get served uncooked fish. Usually, I send it back but yesterday I just took it home to cook later. Also, our waitress didn't seem like she was very happy. This restaurant is amazing! We had an amazing server Matt. He was so nice and was just so happy to be there, even when it started raining he said "what a great ambiance for work today". I love how everything we ordered he kept saying like great choice or that's a good option and not condescending which is really great. Loveeeeeee this place. Grew up having my grandmother take me and this experience has far exceeded past experiences. The service was amazing: immediately seated, consistent checking in with refills and condiments, knew the menu front and back, and was bubbly and up for a conversation when needed. The food was just as good as I remember, if not better. Our group of four ordered 2 appetizers, 4 meals and 2 desserts. Every single thing was to die for and made to perfection. If I had to recommend one place to go and get an amazing experience, this is it. 12/10 experience and looking forward to dining again. Don't buy their gift cards. Their website says they never expire and there are no fees. My wife and I were there a couple of weeks ago, and they would not take a $10 bonus gift card. We went to brunch this afternoon. My wife ordered the breakfast egg tacos. When they arrived after a long wait, they were cold. We complained and sent them back. When they were returned, one egg taco was hot, but the other one was cold. After talkIng to the manager, they took the meal off the bill. Worse time we have had Bonefish. I was staying in a hotel the week of 10/26/2022 and was too tired to go out for dinner this night. It was a long day at work and I was looking for a good seafood meal to treat myself to tonight. As I was perusing the delivery service, I landed on the Bonefish Grill. I have been to other Bonefish Grill locations in my travels, and it was like I was ordering from a good friend's restaurant. For dinner tonight, I ordered the Maryland-Style Crab Cakes appetizer and the main entree of Cold Water Lobster Tails with seasonal veggies and Jasmine rice. The crab cakes were perfectly prepared with a side of a remoulade sauce and a lemon wedge. I can tell you that the crab cakes did not stay in my tray for very long as I devoured it like a hungry T-Rex from Jurassic Park. There were no complaints from my taste buds about its taste, texture, and yummy vibes. The lobster tails were perfectly cooked and came with half of a roasted lemon and clarified butter. Seasonal veggies today were green beans and it was topped off with the Jasmine rice. After I ripped into the lobster tails, I was still trying to pick of the remaining lobster tail remnants that were still connected to the bottom of the tails. It was like licking the bottom of a cake mixing bowl. It was that good. The green beans were awesome, not too soggy and not too al dente. The Jasmine rice.... I love rice, and you cannot go wrong with the Jasmine rice here. All of the items perfectly complimented each other. Next time I come out to Wilmington, I will make sure to eat at Bone Fish instead of ordering. In a pinch though, they came through in a pinch and the food was still fresh and thoroughly satisfying. Another wonderful meal at Bonefish! I came for a late lunch with my mom, boyfriend, and a friend. We had the bang bang shrimp (delicious!), the pork chop with a side of pumpkin ravioli (YAY!!!), the burger with a side of bacon mac and cheese, and a seafood pasta dish. We sat at the bar and were served by Giselle who was absolutely amazing. She took such good care of us, made sure we got fresh warm bread, that we loved all our food, and had our drinks refilled almost immediately. Last night my wife, our son and I had a delightful dinner at Bonefish Grill in no small part due to the exceptional hospitality of our server, Aleah. We ordered the special priced three course meals and were delighted the food was delicious and Aleah was so attentive and welcoming to us. We kept her busy and she couldn't have been nicer to us. This experience was really bad. Worst part is that it was a make-up dinner for a horrible experience we had at the Bonefish in Myrtle Beach. Anyways, we were seated and our server came up to us. She seemed slightly annoyed at having to wait on us and, as it turned out, someone else took over in the end so I think we were at the end of her shift. We had reservations and were seated in the bar area on a Friday early evening. It was not busy at all. The drinks were tasty. Then the food came and my wife ordered a pork chop with mashed potatoes and spinach. It was served with roasted potatoes, but she specifically said mashed. Whatever, nbd... and if it wasn't for the hassle that we were treated as we were, we wouldn't have really cared. I wait for my wife's mashed potatoes to arrive before I start eating and... mine were ice cold. Like... what? So were hers that the waitress brought out. Awesome. We finally told the waitress and she said, "can you scoop them off your plate onto a new plate?" Wow. Really? So I scooped them onto a bread plate. I mean it just rude and ridiculous... no apologies, she was just annoyed. And wth is the kitchen staff doing back there with cold mashed potatoes? It was 6 pm on a Friday night! She finally brought out some warm mashed potatoes so we actually could eat our dinner. The food was fine, but at this point, everything was getting a little cold. The waitress must have gone home and then the bartender took over. She was really nice. Wish we had her the whole time, but at this point, we were over it and just wanted to go home. Seriously bad evening out and really sad that it was supposed to make up for a former terrible experience at a different Bonefish. Booooo. read more

Stopped in today for lunch....arrived at peak lunchtime hours....11:55 am and was seated promptly. Noticed I was the ONLY patron in the restaurant. I mean the-only-person-other-than-staff. That's sad and clear sign something needs to change, or it will soon be closed. I've noticed a huge decline of cars in the parking lot during the evening dinner service for the past two years and am kinda shocked they are even open for lunch. No lunch menu or lunch specials (whaaat???) - even though main website showed a lunch menu, this location doesn't have it. Clean, super clean establishment (could use some new ceiling tiles in main dining room from past water leaks in 6-7 sections), but gleaming floors and clean tables. My waitress (Jennifer), was very engaging and absolutely perfect! The bread and dipping oil was fabulous as always! Yum! But the beef & ginger potsticker appetizer for $10.00 was bland and quite soggy from sitting in the bowl of sauce. Wouldn't recommend - wasn't horrible, but could have been better. The Bang Bang Shrimp tacos with fries were delicious , but a bit much for lunch (at dinner pricing too) .... Sad that the whole entire hour I was there (11:55 until 1pm) not one other person was there. read more

We came here for mom's birthday yesterday. It was our second time at Bonefish grill this year (second time in my life). What a wonderful experience we had! The restaurant is nice and clean. The staff are all nice and friendly at all times. Our server was very attentive to our needs and made our visit such a pleasant experience. The food are fresh and super delicious. I know I've only been here twice but I'm already a lifelong fan of this place. I can see myself coming here for casual get-together and special occasions. I sincerely recommend this place. Seated immediately by a very friendly hostess only to watch 2 servers avoid making eye contact with us for @ 10 minutes. They were less than half full. We finally got up and walked out without ever even being acknowledged. Saved me over $150 thankfully. Crazy when your staff is trying hard to avoid a $30+ tip on a 40 minute table for two. Another great dinner. We had the new shashimi tuna app and it was delicious. My husband has the chicken marsala which was of course delicious. I hadn't been to Bonefish Grill in years; after ordering them to-go for lunch recently, I understand why. I had their Lily's Chicken with whipped garlic mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The chicken was very dry and didn't have much flavor--even with the artichoke hearts. The garlic mashed potatoes were very dry and it was hard to denote the garlic taste. I think someone forgot to season the coleslaw--the texture was great, the flavor not so much. Hopefully their seafood is better, but I didn't want fish-breath while I was at work. read more

We ordered to go for Father's Day. One of the orders ( there were 3 entrees) was the Lobster Thermidor Well we got the Thermidor without the Lobster. Here's the picture from the website Below is what we got NO LOBSTER! Where s the lobster? It's supposed to come with a measly 4oz. I guess it was too much to ask for Lobster that came with the meal. Of course we didn't discover this until we got home! And there was no bread in the bag , ( only one pesto, fortunately we caught this mistake before we got out of the parking lot. But of course we couldn't see thru the window of the container. That's bs. Ruined my wife's Father's Day meal. Oh we did receive an extra side of mashed potatoes in the bag. Who is checking these meals ? Apparently no one. I'm only giving 1 star. I wouldn't even do that but when people read and see no stars they'll think I forgot to check the rating. read more

Stopped by for lunch with a buddy. She had salad with grilled chicken and spicy shrimps also. She loved it. I ordered the lunch special. Cup of chower and blackened cod tacos. The chowder was delicious. Creamy, good flavor and had crab in it. Yum. But... The tacos were disappointing. First off it was covered in mangos. No where on the menu did it mention that. Second pieces of dry crumbled fish was layed in the taco bottom and was awful. I told the waitress and Showed her last nights dry fish, that was now in my overly sweet mango taco. She shrugged and said sorry you didnt like it. Offered nothing. But we did talk about her nails shaped to a vampires point which was the newest trend. I let it go so my friends lunch could remain positive. Dang, i would of taken another cup of chower, called it even and paid my $11.00 with pleasure. I'll never eat the tacos again. They dont know how to make them. Sorry. I'll stick to the things i know at Bonefish. read more
