This market is literally 2 minutes away from my house, however I'd rather drive down to Mi Tierra…read moreon Willow pass, Cardenas Market or La Superior both on railroad Ave. This store is cheaper than the ones I mention above but YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! Their fruits and vegetable section is FILTHY with rotting fruit and vegetables out for you to "buy" there are fruit flies as well. I've attached two pictures taken on Wednesday Jan 23 2025. Also like other comments mention the cashiers are not very friendly either.

I've been coming to this store since I was a child, and it holds a lot of sentimental value for me…read more I remember the previous owners and how different the experience used to be. it pains me to say this but Unfortunately, under the current ownership the quality has gone way down. The produce is often spoiled or expired, and it's still put out for sale. Prices are also very high, especially for items that aren't fresh. I'm giving two stars purely out of nostalgia--otherwise, this would be a one-star review. This store used to be a dependable neighborhood market, but it's clear that things have changed--and not for the better. The current management either isn't paying attention or simply doesn't prioritize customer experience. One of the biggest issues is the checkout process. The cashiers, mostly younger women, often spend more time gossiping with each other than helping customers efficiently. While it's understandable to chat during slow moments, it becomes a problem when it delays service. Many of them seem distracted, and it shows in how slowly they bag items and how disengaged they are. Multitasking seems to be a challenge for some of them, and the checkout process ends up taking much longer than it should. Only one or two staff members consistently provide quick, professional service. Beyond that, the store seriously needs to improve the freshness and quality of its products. Additionally, the store could benefit from paying closer attention to quality control. With a few improvements in staff training this place could regain its former reputation
