I have been going to the store since they opened. I always have issues when I go to the store because I can speak Spanish, but I don't want to speak Spanish. The cashiers don't even know how to tell you the total in english. I went in the store yesterday and I spent $75.44. When I first went to the Cashier, her name was Nayheli. I asked her how she was and she ignored me. I asked her a second time how she was and she laughed. It may have been a nervous laugh, but it was rude. I asked her a third time how she was and she looks at the other cashier and ignores me again. When she tells me my total, she tells me how much it is in Spanish and I asked her in English "how much is it?" Nayheli looks at me and told me the total in Spanish again. I asked her again how much it was in English and she just looks at me and was waiting for me to pay. I refuse to put my card into the machine to pay until I was told in English how much my total was. The cashier then looks at another cashier and ask that cashier to tell me my total. The other cashier could barely tell me my total. I debated whether to call the store and talk to the manager. I called the store today and I asked for a manager and I was hung up on. I called back a second time and I was transferred five times until the manager Maria answered the phone. I told Maria I was very frustrated with the specific cashier. And she just said it was a language barrier. And yes 95% of their customers are Spanish-speaking customers. What about the other five percent? I'm married to a Mexican. And I hate when I go into a store and they can't speak english. Since I'm doing a Yelp review, If you get water at their water machine, they have the nastiest smell Outside And it smells like Dirty sewage. if you go early in the morning comma and get water from the machine, the smell is very overwhelming. I was there two weeks ago and there was a worker outside cleaning any apologized for the smell. I told him *oh it's here all the time*, But he didn't understand me. The water that comes our of the machine is good. When I was on the phone with Maria the manager, I told her I was very frustrated and I did not feel like she cared about my complaint about the cashier not being able to speak english. I told her since she did not care, I was going to go do a Yelp review. Since I'm doing a review, I will mention that they always have random weird people In the parking lot. They sell windshield wipers, they want to clean your headlights, etc They're aisles are extremely narrow, 2 grocery carts definitely can NOT PASS side by side in the aisles. They are overpriced on most items, but you pay for convenience. The food from the Taqueria is decent, but very pricey. The fresh bread is very good, but pricey. I got prepared carne asada taco meat and it was $7.99/lb. Oaxaca from the deli was $6.99/lb. Everything is very pricey, but people will pay for convenience. read more

We stopped there because we were looking for menudo and our usual places were still closed. We ordered a menudo and a chorizo con huevo and ate there to see if we liked it enough to take some home to the rest of the family. My husband liked the menudo and I really enjoyed the chorizo! It was so much I took out home. The salsa they served with it was also delicious. We will definitely return! Service was quick and friendly. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! I come to this supermarket because it's the closest to me, but lately they've been really shady. About 2 months ago I was in with my mom and did some grocery shopping. My mom ordered from the meat counter, she ordered some bones for a beef stew. How much can bones be?!?! Well instead of charging her for the price of the bones, they charged her ground beef price. Like WTF Anyway it was like a $8 dollar difference. A different day I went in and bought a few items including some queso fresco. When I get home, there was no queso fresco in my bag smh. I should've gone back but I was so tired, I just said whatever... TODAY I went in with my mom again and bought about $75 dollars worth of stuff. I get home, queso fresco is missing and my tortillas. I was very frustrated, called the store and the girl on the phone said (after she left me on hold for like 7 mins) there was nothing left at the register. I'm done with this store!!! I remember this market from years ago as ok but when I returned recently I found it way better than that! They have many Latin staples, hard to find ones plus cheese and hot food counters, all well stocked and clean. The pan Dulce case was stocked well and the several pieces we bought were fresh and tasty. All the employees were super friendly as well. I like that it's small but it has a lot in it. They also have a taqueria and I prefer going there over Cardenas which is huge. The prices here were fair. read more

I have ordered from here many times the food is okay but they have messed up so many orders and when I ask for a partial refund, they cannot give me a refund. There's no supervisor on duty and they offer me a drink or a beverage instead of giving me a refund on my food or some extra food, they wanna give me a drink that they just throw away at the end of the night. My son can't eat chicken and I order carne asada over the phone , I had to speak to 3 people due to not understanding me (that's okay) but when I go in they lied to my face and told me that it was Carne Asada because they didn't want to re-cook the meat because they didn't have any ready so they just gave me chicken and so I got home and noticed that they were chicken tacos and not Carne Asada and I went back and they didn't really say sorry and they had me wait for so long because I had to make a call and I am never going back since they can charge me and take my money and mess up on my order but not compensate me for my gas going back and forth. Came here on NYE for salsa and cilantro. It was packed , but at the salsa counter no one was there. The lady working was busy so i tried to be patient and wait for her to look up. Some gentlemen came up after me and waited briefly then got her attention. I thought maybe they will tell her i was here first NOPE! She proceeded to help them get several items. Another woman walked up while i was waiting. I figured its my bad I should have done what they did. But when she was done the fact that she had to question whether to help.me or the lady who came after me PISSED ME OFF! I ended up telling her i was there before everyone. The place has plenty of parking. It's nice to have a store where you can stop by and get a thing or two without it being a huge hassle. They have plenty of Mexican Mexican bread. A large selection of fruits and vegetables. Not to many dairy products. The meat section seems good and the butcher will but the meat to your liking. They have lots of different salsas. A small restaurant in the back. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is the rows are too small one cart barely fits in an aisle. Besides that it's ok. The prices are reasonable. This place has excellent prepared foods (salsa, ceviche, etc) along with baked goods & butchery. The taqueria in the back also has excellent food but I have only one peeve, it's that they don't wrap the burritos tightly so when you unwrap it, it falls apart. When you order food from here please!!! be careful and don't do my mistake of not reading your receipts right there in the moment or not looking at your order and trusting them that they go it right because they overcharged me for food I did not receive Which my order was 3 burritos and 2 tacos and I didn't receive that order instead got only the 3 burritos and it wasn't like they over charged me 5 or 10 dollars it came out to 50 dollars!! This little place in the back of the grocery store is so yummy!! Had NO idea this place was that good. I've lived in the area and just recently tried the Carnitas Tortas! So delicious and completly authentic to the ones in Mexico. I have always tried Tortas in other restaurants hoping that they will be similiar and usually I am very disapointed... Not here though. I had my first bite and couldnt believe it! I was so happy!! Finally I found a place that has authentic delicious Mexican Tortas. I go there every couple weeks. The serving size is huge and they also give you a side of grilled jalapenos and onions. The prices are great as well. Love this place! read more

You'll always find great deals in their meat department, as well as fresh produce. I mostly come here for their taqueria in the back. You can't beat flavorful Super burritos under $5.00! Lots of different meat choices, specialty menu items on the weekend, and lots of free delicious salsa for you to take home! It's a great little place for when you don't want to drive far or if you're right in the next town, it's a quick little drive. Great customer service, only complaint is they can be so busy they sometimes forget I ask for extra cheese! :) But that's okay, because their food tastes great regardless! read more

Dont knock this joint, there is a hidden taqueria at the back of this Hispanic grocery and its authentic! What place do you know serves lengua (tongue) burritos, cabeza (head meat) tacos, and the the pastore special is to die for. Alright, the food here is really good! And the groceries are on the cheaper side for great quality stuff, which I love. The low rating comes from a sour personal experience. Normally, I really love this place. I come in every now and then to either get groceries or eat at the little spot in the back. I guess there has been an issue with stealing because now they have a sign in the corner that says you can't bring bags in the store. Not sure if it's always been there or if I only noticed it because the police officer stopped me from coming in because I had a backpack. Meanwhile, I see several women enter with large purses of their own or other bags. This makes no sense to me. I think this store needs to work on the way they handle their security.
