Bonita's is absolutely delicious!! We have been here a few times and have tried the carne asada burrito, fish tacos, breakfast burrito and the pozole. Everything is great, especially the carne asada!! Chips and salsa is delicious as well as the baja sauce. We've ordered to go and have also dined in. We'll definitely be back!! read more

They have the best green chili burrito hands down. I used to go to Richard's for green chili burro but they closed down years ago. I was so sad because I never thought I would ever again be able to have such an amazing green chili burro. Bonitas have creeped into my heart and makes me very happy. I ordered the enchilada style burrito and it was pretty good but the beans,rice and chips were old. The older lady that took my order was really friendly but she went to her break. This other lady with long black hair brought our food and was really rude. She slided my chips and plate across the table without a word . Just so disappointing. Came in under the power of a Groupon for take out. Ordered mini chimis. Soggy. Sitting on a bed of slimy old iceberg lettuce. Ordered macho nachos, guacamole was brown. Literally just scraped it out and threw it away. Ordered dulce chimi, soggy relatively unimaginative and tasteless with caramel sauce one one side of chimis with cream cheese on the other. The other reviews are really positive here, but trying to reuse old guacamole and old lettuce along with the presence of a Groupon indicate doom maybe eminent. Today's performance only helps. Just ordered some food from Bonita's, a Carne Asada burrito and a cheese quesadilla and I got to say I couldn't of been happier the Carne Asada meat was tender seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection!! The cheese quesadilla had the perfect amount of cheese and the perfect amount of Crispness to the tortilla and I cannot begin to tell you how good all their hot, mild,medium sauces are especially the habanero!! If you are looking for a great little local Mexican food restaurant I highly recommend Bonitas! I just ate the worst mexican food ever. I ordered a carne asada burro and a drink. The bill was $10.60. The burro was awful. I removed the meat mixture and ate the tortilla. For that amount of money, I expected something edible. It came with a little bit of lettuce on the side and three small containers of horrible salsa. I think that it should be noted first that this is more of a taqueria than it is a sit down restaurant. The service is great. Food was brought out to us and we were continually checked in on. As far as the food, it was just ok. The carne Asada did not taste fresh, the Tacos were very plane, and it all seemed like something I could easily whip up at home. I like the food here but the customer service leaves slot to be desired. I came Monday and ordered 3 chimichanga combos and 4 cheese enchiladas paid 47 something almost $50 had to wait about 15 minutes which wasn't too bad they bagged everything up I got home and I had to put some things away my husband and son started eating in on theirs and when I got my fingernails like was the beans and rice so I called them and they're like oh I know you ordered burritos enchilada Style and when I told her no that was not my order I requested chimichangas enchilada style I did not say it and I want rice and beans and are you saying if I ask for the enchiladas styled it takes off the rice and beans anyway she States well I don't know what you want me to do that's what was on the order and then so I hung up then I looked and I realized oh wait this isn't even a chimichangas just a burrito so when I call her back about that she wanted me to come in right now and bring the food and showed refund me but was very very rude about it to the point I was very angry and I chose not to go back in because one of us probably would have wound up in jail with her attitude the way it was on the customer I paid good money and I didn't get what I ordered at all the only thing that was right was the cheese enchiladas I guess they really couldn't mess that up too much could they read more

I stumbled across this place by complete accident. I couldn't have been more pleased. Their fish tacos are amazing. The prices are reasonable. It's in a convenient location (right around the corner from where I live) The lady at the front counter (not sure of her name) is alway pleasant. And you can't beat those $1.25 tacos on Tuesday and Friday. I recommend this place to anyone craving decently priced Mexican food from someone other than a Berto brother. read more

Today was my first time coming here after hearing so many great things about this place and WOW I have to say that it lived up to the hype. The young lady at the front had great customer service wasn't bothered by me not knowing what I wanted she even gave me samples as to what she recommends. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito. It was horrible tasteless it was nothing but potatoes and watery eggs no flavor at all. I opened the burrito to see if there was even bacon in it and the bacon looks like it was barely cooked and tiny little pieces of bacon in the burrito. The whole time I could not taste any bacon in the burrito.
