I bought lunch for a co-worker today, for her birthday. She wanted Brushfire. Drive thru and pick up only at this location. No indoor seating. Which is fine. We are aware that it is not an eat in place. Usually the food is great. Right on point. Today the food tasted good but was definitely on the cold side. I was concerned about this because I received an alert at 11:10am that my order was ready. Only problem is, I set my time for pick up at 1130. My husband picked up the order at 1127. He brought to me about 10 mins away. By the time we all sat down to eat, it had been sitting around for 30 mins. So needless to say, I am very frustrated. Not only is our food now cold, or Luke warm at best. Deeeee-licious! I got a chicken burrito and large horchata here after school via drivethrough. I'm impressed at how fast I get my items from the both times I have been here. With such friendly service and smiles, too! Both items cost me around $20. The horchata is okay! It is a bit more watery than I typically like it, but I did like it nonetheless. I got the chicken burrito with the wildfire sauce on the side. The chicken burrito is HUGE! And very filling, especially since it comes with rice and beans too. The chicken is very tasty and tender. I always appreciate there not being an extra charge for guacamole. The fresh veggies in the pico complement every other component well. I also loved the wildfire salsa. It is ACTUALLY spicy which I love. Actually next time I'll upgrade to the even hotter Inferno! Honestly, ~$13 for a burrito seemed like a lot to me but I think it's okay time to time especially because of the amount you get. I am struggling to finish it right now. Stopped by for a quick breakfast before embarking on my trip to California. The quality of the food is as good as I remember from my last trip. My favorite is the Chorizo tacos with salsa verde. The tacos and the filling are less like a traditional taco and more like an unfolded mini breakfast burrito. The meats are well seasoned and the mayo adds a nice bit of spice and tang. The green salsa is very refreshing on an otherwise very rich and savory taco. My only gripe is that the prices have seem to gone up, which is understandable with inflation and all, but it feels steep considering this is something I have easily made at home many times before. I went to Brush Fire yesterday. First off... the girl who took my order and helped me at the window was delightful. I decided to order the carne asada salad bowl, and OMG it was soooo delicious. Verde brought a freshness to the tacos. Inferno did infact bring the heat. This is a small operation. The person who took my order was also the one who also checked me out. After payment, she then assembled the tacos. There was only one person ahead of us. From ordering to food being handed to me was about 5 or 6 minutes. I couldn't see far enough inside to see if a second person was cooking the meat. A rewards program is available. I tried to scan the qr code to sign up. We were in the area and breakfast tacos sounded good. First off the parking lot arrangement for the drive thru is horrid. It's right next to Dutch bros and we all know there is always a never ending line there. There was people hanging out of the lot being honked at to move. It was eventful while we waited lol. The breakfast menu is served until 12:30 and there are burritos, tacos and bowls. We went with one of each taco. They have steak, chorizo and bacon which all came with potatoes, eggs, cheese and spicy mayo. We weren't sure how the spicy Mayo would taste so we ordered on the side with a side of verde sauce and brushfire. The wait was about 10 mins but the employees were friendly. Total was around $9 and change. The food, the hubs loved the steak taco and said it was the best, I didn't even get to try it but managed to get a pic before it was snatched away lol. Plenty of meats in all 3. I liked the chorizo taco, the potatoes were crisp and tasty, plenty of egg and cheese. The spicy mayo actually tasted really good too! Our least favorite was the bacon taco, it was a bunch of crumbled up bacon which didn't taste bad but we could pass on it next time.
