Stopped by today for some taco Tuesday specials and this place did not disappoint. I had the burrito bowl and all the ingredients were fresh and very flavorful. My partner had the mini chimichangas and I can admit the chicken was slightly dry but good flavor as well. Guacamole wasn't the best. The service was amazing, and he even let us taste test some items before making our decision. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who'll listen. read more

I can't believe I've never reviewed this restaurant before! This is hands-down, my absolute favorite restaurant. I started at the franchise in Tempe and have made it a mission to try all of the different locations. This one is my favorite! I remember noticing that they don't have refried beans which some of the other locations do but the regular pinto beans have grown on me especially with some cotija cheese on top. Their salsas are pretty spicy but the barbacoa salsa (yellow) is mild and extremely tasty! All of their ingredients are as fresh as they come and you get to build it so if it doesn't taste good to you, I don't know what to say than to take my advice and order it like you see in my picture! I like the chipotle chicken, it has a ton of flavor with a kick! The vinagreta chicken is also good but a lot more subtle in flavor and kick. I would definitely give this place a try! read more

So impressed with this taco shop! Great portions for the price, and prices are reasonable. I love that you can customize everything and add various different toppings to your order. We have tried a few different items there- the tinga chicken, vinegretta chicken, green chili beef and red carnitas. The green chili beef is delicious but seriously spicy. The tinga chicken is also awesome but I think my favorite is the vinegretta chicken. I love the tacodilla which is a cross between a street taco and quesadilla, especially the thicker corn tortilla it comes in. A bit messy of a burrito today, but still good enough quality. It just needed a tighter roll, but I usually get no beans, so sometimes it is my fault. In this burro, I had the red chicken, rice and whatever else I wanted to add for free. The chicken is white meat and flavored well. Drive past this place everyday and I'm sad I took so long to try the food. The TACODILLAS are my go to now and I love that they keep the beans whole. I've only had the carne asada street tacos ($2 each). Decent size, thin double tortillas, and they throw your choice of toppings on it (cilantro, lettuce, pico, onion, pickled onion, cabbage, etc). Hot sauce is good and has a kick to it and a smoky flavor. If you think tapatio is hot it might be a bit much for you though (they do have mild options). Small place that was walking distance from where I was. The inside was full of masks which made for an interesting interior design. The tacos were very good but what made it even better was the salsa. I tried almost all of them and it was tough to say which one I liked the best. The staff seemed nice but as it was my first time they did not answer all my questions and I felt a little rushed ordering even though no one else was in line behind me.
