Lunch menu choice of Chile relleno and beef taco soup and drink included :) :) :)
    Owen K.

Hello Yelpers! Hola, Bonito Michoacán! It's been over five years since we've eaten here. The service remains excellent, and the dining room is still clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We usually come for the lunch specials. My wife orders Timo's Special (5E), which includes a crispy beef taco and a chile relleno. The taco arrives with a satisfying crunch, while the chile relleno is the real highlight--tender, cheesy, and smothered in a rich, savory roja sauce that adds just the right amount of depth and warmth. I normally order the #21, Camarones Sarandeados. The shrimp are juicy and perfectly cooked, coated in a smoky, flavorful sauce that begs to be scooped up with warm tortillas. Shrimp lovers should definitely give it a try, and be sure to ask for extra tortillas so none of that delicious sauce goes to waste. This visit, I tried the #15 Carnitas instead. The pork was exceptionally tender with crispy edges, bursting with savory flavor and seasoned with a well-balanced blend of spices that made every bite satisfying. The chips and salsa were better than average, with crisp, fresh chips and a salsa that delivered a bright, zesty kick. The first basket is complimentary. Lunch specials also include a soft drink and a bowl of fideo soup, a warm and comforting starter with a homemade feel. Bonito Michoacán continues to deliver a consistently enjoyable lunch experience with flavorful dishes, attentive service, and outstanding value. If you're looking for a reliable spot for authentic Mexican comfort food, this restaurant deserves a place on your list. Five years later, it's just as memorable as we remembered--and we'll be looking forward to our next visit.

In my infinite wisdom, I bought a Groupon for Bonito Michoacan maybe 6 months or a year ago, thinking I had forever to use it. Time flew by and I checked the expiration date on Monday to see that it was expiring on Tuesday. Breakfast only! LOL. It was 11am so I got in my car and zipped on over. The restaurant is beautiful. Colorful paint inside and out. Big, heavy, wooden furniture. Very Mexico. They have a large menu. I picked Califa omelet from the breakfast menu and it was pretty good. I took the flour tortilla home and it was good too. Decent service. I went alone so I was in and out and no frills. They have a large drink menu too with a lot of choices. I'd consider checking it out if they have a happy hour.

ALFREDO the waiter was excellent! Very attentive. The food was very good. Best I've had in Vegas so far. Many locals were dining there. A good sign on a Monday after lunch hour. Highly recommend. Especially Coctel de camaron (shrimp cocktail). Huge! No skimping on the shrimp.A must try!

Just meh for me. Chips are a little hard, I like my chips crispy. The chips came with refried beans, salsa and some tomato type soup which is definitely different and not something I have ever had as a free starter. I had the combination of chicken tostada, taco and enchilada. It was just okay nothing to write home about. There was some live entertainment going on which is great. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. Three stars only because the food is just mediocre unfortunately. PS what is going on in the bathroom? It's like a zombie apocalypse happened with ten old locks removed and grates added at the bottom of the wall and door to keep things out!!!

Let me start off by saying he server (Richard I think it was) was fantastic. Attentive, personable, and genuinely made the whole experience better. Unfortunately, the food fell a bit flat for me. Maybe it was just what I ordered, but nothing really stood out flavor wise. The Michelada in particular was a letdown; it lacked any real depth or bold flavor. That said, the ambiance is solid. They had live music, the place was packed, and it's clear they're doing a lot of things right to draw a crowd. It just didn't fully hit the mark for me overall.

Chef/kitchen was really off today. Burrito was made incorrectly. Waiter took back still came back wrong. I Just gave up and didn't send it back again. Ordered a steak torta to go. Got home it was missing the steak and made wrong? Very disappointing, $16 a burrito and they can't make them right as requested. Tried calling location no answer twice, Left message on answering machine. Don't think I will be back after spending a total $42 on two burritos.

Great service, solid menu and food preparation. A welcoming and friendly place. Their long and successful run in the restaurant business in the City of Las Vegas proves their consistency. We had one fish ceviche and one shrimp ceviche. We switched plates halfway to taste each others. Fresh, finely chopped deliciousness with a squirt of lime. The guac was out of this world. I enjoy the beans here with queso - silky smoothe. A solid choice when in Sin City.

Shrimp ceviche on oysters. Half dozen.

A true 5 star experience!! It is one of those Mexican restaurant experiences where as you take a bite you are naming off who you want to bring here when they come to town. The service is 100% my #1 reason to come back. Everyone was very friendly from the host to our server to everyone on the team. Quick service + very polite. The food was amazing. We came with a craving for seafood so we ordered the shrimp chile rellenos which I would highly recommend if you are looking to leave feeling full with great taste. We also ordered the shrimp ceviche and our favorite, the oysters with ceviche added. They came out very cold and was not salty. For beverages we ordered a michelada, cantarito and strawberry margarita. All 3 were delicious but the margarita outshined in taste. If you like a strong drink would not hurt to order an extra shot on the side. The regular size is so much but next time i will be ordering a jumbo for the experience. In the future it would be nice to see a shrimp added on top of the michelada to give it its final touch. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful. Our table was a hand carved portrait that was perfect for photos. Short version: YES.

Tried this place out, and was not disappointed. They serve chips, salsa and warm bean dip. First bowl is free, then its $3.50 for the next bowl. Kinda odd, but they were delicious! The chips were homemade, warm and crunchy. Not oily or overly salty. I added salt because I like them slightly salty. The salsa was cool, very tasty and a bit spicy. I love spicy, so this was just a little less spicy than I would have liked but still very fresh and tasty. The bean dip was excellent. Smooth and rich. Also you get a soup with noodles before even ordering. The soup was very rich, warm with a slight beef broth flavor and pepper. You would drink this down on a cold winter night. The noodles were tiny and tasted very good. I ordered a golden margarita, 16oz. $10 for happy hour! It was really good, and I highly recommend coming back during happy hour! My entre was the Zapateca, beef enchilada and tamale. Comes with rice and beans. The enchilada was pretty good, with melted cheese and a very good red sauce. Not spicy, just rich and tasty. The tamale comes with a brighter red/ orange sauce which was OK, i prefer tamales without the sauce. The tamale itself was OK as well. Im kind of a tamale snob, having eaten them all my life and actually made dozens upon dozens of them, year after year using my Nanas recipe. Having said that, they were OK. The prices are a bit steep if you miss the lunch specials, but happy hour makes up for it if you order some adult beverages. Service was quick and friendly!

Tacos de Pollo a la Parrilla! Delicious!

I returned yesterday to the Mexican gem! Again, I was greeted right away and sat immediately. Great, chill vibe throughout the restaurant. I tried the Tacos de Pollo a la Parrilla. I ordered the spicy, and I mean SPICY, tomatillo sauce to top them with. They were fantastic! I skipped dessert because the entree was so filling. I will definitely be back again!

Bonita Michoacan was such a great find! We stopped by on a Saturday evening about an hour before closing and weren't sure if we'd be seated, but they welcomed us right in--and the service was superb from start to finish. The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful: colorful, vibrant, and deeply rooted in Mexican culture. The decor honestly reminded me of my grandparents, which made it feel warm and nostalgic. It's a big restaurant, and every server who walked by checked in on us, not just our own--such a thoughtful touch. They started us off with chips, beans, and salsa, which I loved. The menu is extensive with so many great options that it was hard to choose. I finally landed on Tía Esther's (the name alone sold me), and it exceeded all expectations. The dish was delicious, comforting, rich in flavor, and incredibly satisfying. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, everything was on point. If you're in Las Vegas and craving authentic, soulful Mexican food, this place is a must.

Chuletas(grilled pork chops in red sauce)

Love this place in Vegas. Huge menu, beautiful bar and ambiance. Had the grilled pork chop plate(chuletas) with rice, beans, guacamole. It's a good ways away from downtown but worth the drive. Servers started our interaction with a free bowl of sopa de fideo to wet your appetite...very much appreciated too. I'd love tp come bzck for desayuno and/or to order one of my favorite Mexican seafood dishes; huachinango entero con mojo de ajo! My drink...the La Sangrona...( no me gusta)..I did not like...sounded and looked better than it tasted....was weak and coukd'nt detect anf booze...cost $17 too...woukd have been better off with a standard house margarita with an extra shot. Again...the pork chops were delish!

The comedy lineup was amazing and honestly made the whole experience so fun and memorable. Even though they forgot one of our food orders and no water was served to our table or follow-up was made to check if we needed anything afterwards, we still had a really good time because the atmosphere and performances were enjoyable. The reason I removed one star was not because of the comedians or the show itself, but due to an uncomfortable interaction regarding one of the tickets. Another group of BTS fans had an extra ticket they couldn't use, so they kindly gave it to my cousin rather than letting it go to waste. While I completely understand if the policy did not allow the extra ticket to be honored, the situation could have been handled more respectfully. Unfortunately, the Filipino lady working there (possibly a server or owner, though I'm not entirely sure) made us feel as though we were not being truthful about where the ticket came from, even after we explained that it had been given to us by another group who could not use it. A little more understanding and professionalism in that interaction would have made the experience much better overall. Before the show: Love the whole atmosphere and the food options , not to mention they did a remix of food choices so nothing can go wrong. Service was quick in the beginning and they were able to accommodate our group so quickly. I'll update more because we are about to watch the show that came with our bts ticket . It was around $40 for early bird and comes with drink and appetizer which is great deal and a show now that's a deal we can't miss!!

Walked in to a Bob Marley "Waiting in Vain" cover and already knew the atmosphere was gonna be solid. Didn't even realize they had Filipino dishes on the menu so we had to try the pork sisig. As a Filipino, I'd say it was good, just a little sweeter and heavier on the mayo than what I'm used to, but still enjoyable. We got Combo 1 with 1lb shrimp and 1/2lb crab legs in the signature Cajun medium sauce plus a side of the Cajun coconut sauce. The Cajun coconut was easily the winner for me, actually so good. Shrimp was a little overcooked and harder to peel, but overall still hit the spot. Added one of each add-on too. For starters, the chili BBQ seasoned fries instantly reminded me of Potato Corner, so now I know where to fix that craving late night. The ceviche was also surprisingly one of the better ones I've had, super flavorful and a solid portion for 2 people. Drinks were the lychee margarita and passion fruit margarita, both really good. Only downside was the drinks took a while and we had to remind our waitress since our food came out before they did. Overall though, the atmosphere, music, food variety, and late night vibe definitely made this place worth it. Would come back again!

We had the steak tartare and it was great. I was able to order half size portions and it was still enough to share and not worry about having too much food or if it'd taste good when reheated. The Italian chopped salad was the delicious. I added a side of garlic shrimp scampi and they were yummy. We tried but ended up taking the carrot cake to go.
