Had dinner the 2nd night we were in Vegas. The food was FABULOUS. Chef Paco was wonderful, checking on everything. For dessert, my wife and I had the Flan. It was Fantastic. I have had Flan before but this was a new experience for me. We even went pack before we left Vegas just to have a drink and the Flan for dessert. Alebrijes is located on Fremont, if you park at the Neonopolis parking take the elevator up to the 3rd floor you're there! Very convenient and easy to find. The moment I walked in my breath was instantly taken away. This spot is sooo beyond beautiful from the vibrant colors to beautiful decor. The staff is so sweet and inviting and Chef Paco is a true gem you can see how much passion he has for what he does and it shines through in his establishment, his staff and his food. I've come here a couple times already and the service is exceptional and the food exceeded above and beyond any expectations I had. Being part Mexican I absolutely love that Chef is highlighting different Mexican cities each month on his menu. They are such unique dishes and so delicious! I had the tortilla soup and the broth was the best I've ever had. The chips and mole was something I haven't had before but the mole was perfectly seasoned, chips nice and warm and perfectly salted. If you choose to do their 5 course meals, they pair it with an amazing drink through each meal which I thought was really special. Both times I've come here I've had amazing experiences. The space is very large inside, they play lively music, have a stage if you want to get up there and sing live music and sometimes they have performances as well! Way over priced for the attitudes they serve here. The server was annoyed to serve us. The hostesses had a bad attitude. No one is here and we've been waiting 15 min for margs... Wtf is up with this place? The chef was also rude Update. The owner responding to me the way he did- WOW! This place had a lot of "hope" however there's no way they will last with how they treat people. Telling me I can't afford to eat here and go to Taco Bell.... To be clear we didn't even get to order and tried talking with staff before we left because of the service! We ate here for the first time this past weekend. We had the salmon burrito bowl which was so good as well as the steak fajitas which were okay. We finished off with a delicious vanilla flan. The beer was ice cold too! Our server was very friendly but despite a small crowd he didn't check on us enough. My beer was empty long enough that by the time I finished my meal and he finally checked on us I no longer wanted a fresh beer but rather the check to pay. The food was priced fairly with above avg portions but the price of a 16 oz beer was a little much I'll go back again and try some other dishes because I like the location and friendly staff. read more

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and it was probably the most depressing restaurant I've been to. 1. Located in a decaying shell of what used to be an outdoor mall. It is on the 3rd floor and the elevators and escalators did not work. 2. The restaurant was empty and just kinda sad looking. 3. There was a 'Drag Brunch' going on and, at first, I was kinda stoked about it. I've been to a drag brunch in Palm Springs and had a blast. This one was just kinda sad. The poor emcee was trying her (his) hardest to get people involved but there were only like 9 people there. 4. The service was HORRENDOUS! It took 25 minutes to get our drinks (we were a party of 6). We had NO alcohol, just sodas and water. 5. The food....oh the food. I was super excited to try this place based on the stellar reviews. I was willing to kinda overlook the negatives if the food stood up to the reviews. Well, it did not. I ordered carne asada street tacos and my wife ordered the chicken enchiladas. Both came out cold. Normally I'd send it back, but considering we waited 45 mins to get our food, I just decided to eat it as is. The carne asada was tough and had no flavor, my wifes enchiladas were not good. Like El Torito is way better than these. Their chips were stale and obviously store bought. Just not good. With all of the other options nearby, I was sad we chose this place. 6. Ambiance. Came here before a show next door. It was a weekday and we basically had the place to ourselves (5:30pm). They have a nice outdoor patio that overlooks the Fremont Street experience so we sat there. They provide free tortilla chips with mole. Mole is not my favorite thing so I would have preferred salsa but I do appreciate a place doing something different. I got the chicken enchiladas and my boyfriend got the mahi mahi burrito. They were both pretty good. The enchiladas had 3 which was maybe a bit much with rice/beans. The entrees were about $20 each. We also had the tropical and berry margaritas which were good but a bit weak on the alcohol. The service was excellent. They also have very large bathrooms so definitely not likely to wait there... seriously, it absurd on the amount of stalls but I'm guessing this space was originally something else. High quality food and great service! Beautiful, clean restaurant. I attended an SBA business event here this evening. There were well over 100 people and the staff handled everything perfectly! They were friendly, accommodating, and able to validate parking (NOTE - Google Neonopolis Underground Parking for the garage). We also had a buffet that included chips and salsa, salad, chicken taquitos, chicken and beef fajitas, beans, fluffy white rice, and pork. Everything was flavorful, fresh and so good! Went for an early dinner at Alebrijes and was blown way by their quality of food. Each dish was excellent in its own right. Both of us had the Green Corn Tortillas soup. It was delicious and filling. Absolutely perfect! We were the first ones in at exactly 11 and was greeted by Marvin. The service is one of the best on the Fremont Experience and the food was outstanding! The views from the outdoor patio is something you cannot find unless you are here. When we arrived it was nice and quiet so you can really enjoy your meal and have a conversation. The carnitas burrito was excellent, the meat was perfect size and very tender. The duck tacos are excellent but the habanero hot sauce makes it top notch. I had the habanero hot sauce for the burrito and it really kicks the flavors. Will definitely be back, hope all of the servers are as attentive and friendly like Marvin! read more

If I could give a review on just the view itself they would get a five the restaurant bar is gorgeous it has the most amazing views and probably is a great place to hold a party. They serve Mole chips as the appetizer . I feel like this is a taste not everyone enjoys and it probably should be salsa instead. I do really like the case of Fundo but was it the best I have ever had probably not but it wasn't the worst either. The staff was amazing the margarita was great. Amazing find! Came here after a show at the Noteriety feeling hungry and loving the theme. The server was very nice and welcoming, the atmosphere felt festive and authentic. We had the roasted corn (amazing), chicken enchiladas with the mole sauce (YUM) and the cochinita pibil (sooo good). All dishes were fire. First time trying cochinita pibil and it was just perfectly flavorful without being too rich. We couldn't finish everything and had a little to go home which was awesome. Bill for an appetizer and 2 entrees with left overs did not even hit a bill including a decent tip. We were pleasantly surprised to find a great restaurant on a whim. To top it off, server brought out a flan on the house, and my boyfriend said it might be the best flan he's had- really creamy and pretty rich so don't let the size fool you, it was filling. We went to Alebrijes because it had high reviews on Yelp. It was actually pretty hard to find on Fremont since it's located upstairs. We ordered the carne asada burritos and the camarones a la diabla. The restaurant wasn't very crowded -- just a few customers. When the food came out, my rice was cold and the shrimp were small and barely lukewarm. I mentioned it to the waiter, but I don't think he heard everything I said because he only brought reheated rice. My husband's burrito was also lukewarm. We didn't come to pay high prices for food that tastes like it was microwaved. Nothing felt freshly made. The mole chips were okay, but I'd rather stick with traditional chips and salsa. Las Vegas Restaurant Week 2025 adventures continued with dinner at Alebrijes Cantina by Chef Paco at the Fremont Street Experience on Wednesday, 6/11/25. This restaurant was hard to find! We looked all around based on the address for the restaurant. Couldn't readily find it. Had to call and ask for directions. It's on the 3rd floor down in an "off-shoot" of Fremont Street. There's no visible signage for the restaurant until you walk down towards Denny's. Then you see a sandwich board type sign. $40 dinner: Started off with the runner brining us a little order of chips and mole. YUM! Very good mole. First course: I ordered the Panuchos: homemade corn tortilla with black beans Cochinita pibil, fresh avocado, pickle onions, and queso fresco. Delicious and savory. The meat was moist and the corn tortilla was light and airy. Second course: I ordered the Mar Y Tierra Tacos: Corn tortilla with toasted cheese, guacamole, chipotle ancho dressing, salsa pasilla, steak, grilled shrimp, bacon, cilantro onion, and queso fresco. The steak on this one was a little over cooked but the salsa pasilla and the chipotle ancho dressing helped. Nice surf n' turf tacos. Great flavor. But the corn tortilla fell apart easily so made it semi-messy. Third course: Flan: Chef Paco's family recipe, available in 2 amazing flavors: traditional vanilla or coffee. I ordered the coffee flan; which was a dense flan with a very light coffee flavor and the caramel sauce under the flan worked well together. The restaurant is decorated very authentically "Mexican" and the various little figures through-out the restaurant were super colorful and great mural artwork by the stage. Our server was super friendly and attentive. Quick to get our orders out to us and get us whatever we requested quickly. Very good experience and priced well. read more

My wife and I shared the Mar y Tierra Burrito Bowl. It was perfect for two to share. We were both stuffed! I also got the Mescalita Margarita and it was yummy. I added the passion fruit to it. Both Marvin and Nat were very nice and helpful. It's on the 3rd floor so a little tricky to find and Marvin was incredibly helpful to us. We topped it off with the flan. My boyfriend and I were heading down to Fremont Street and were in the mood for Mexican food. We noticed this place on the second floor so we thought we would give it a shot. We got seated right away. The hostess was very nice. The restaurant was actually bigger than I thought it was. They also have outside seating. They have both table and booth options. I did notice a very small stage so I'm not sure what events they may have there, but they may have some. We were greeted pretty quickly when we sat down and given our menus. My boyfriend and I got tacos and a burrito. We did order a soup, but unfortunately, it came out cold and because it seemed like it was microwaved when it came back to us, and not fresh we ended up sending it back. The tacos were absolutely delicious. One of the best tacos that I've eaten. The steak was tender and very flavorful. The burrito was also very good. We did have a nice waiter. Though there was quite a bit of time where the staff got busy and we were waiting quite a long time to be checked on. I did feel like if we sat outside we probably would've been helped a little bit quicker. It was a little surprising to me that ourselves, and only one other couple were inside at one point and with all the people working there, no one came to check on us. The portions were a pretty good size. The tacos were so good though I do wish it did come with four tacos. The chef did come introduce himself, which was nice. I would come here again. I did like the food and there's a few other things that I would like to try. I do recommend coming here if you're in the mood for some good Mexican food. They do have restrooms inside, though I did not use them. They did have a TV on and some music playing. The restaurant was really clean and nicely decorated. It is located on the second floor. Husband and I went to try it out for date night. The decor and ambiance were fantastic! Service was spot on... unfortunately, for my husband and myself, the food was subpar. I got the chile rellano with rice and beans. The chile rellano was overcooked and underwhelming. The rice was a bit on the crunchy side. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos. He said they were alright, but nothing to get excited about. We also ordered the guacamole and chips. The guacamole was clearly not made to order, it seemed like it may have been made in the morning and that's what was still there at 7pm. I know they have only been open a month, so I think we will wait a bit so they can work their kinks out and maybe we will try again. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this place. It's a must-visit spot when in Fremont. Although it's a little hidden away on the third floor, it's absolutely worth it. From the moment you walk in, the hostess warmly greets you. My group and I were quickly seated, and our waiter promptly took our drink orders while also suggesting some appetizers. We had a chance to look over the menu, and everything sounded amazing. Since I wasn't very hungry, I ordered carne asada nachos, complemented by a Paloma for my drink. My husband chose carne asada tacos along with a draft beer. Our friend joined us and went for carne asada and shrimp tacos, also with a draft beer. Everything was delicious, and the wait staff was very attentive to our needs. Towards the end of our meal, Chef Paco came over to greet us and brought us a complimentary flan. He was incredibly humble and shared that it was his mother's recipe. Before we left the restaurant, we spent some time talking with Chef Paco as he shared his inspiring story of how he became who he is today. Getting to the restaurant is like a treasure hunt, on the third floor, you have to navigate through a run down open air 3 story mall. The place is actually a fancy place that overlooks the fun below. There was a live DJ there singing for about 6 tables. The food is good and the bartenders will work to make your cocktail the way you like it. I asked for spicy salsa and that fixed them, the service is great but the food is lacking my sis ordered the salmon a $30 dollar plate, only the veggies and were well seasoned. I was looking for a great Mexican restaurant to cap off my week here in Vegas, and Alebrijes did not disappoint! I have lived in Southern California for the last 12 years, got married in a small town in Mexico, and I've had the best and the worst of Mexican food. I would not hesitate whatsoever to recommend this place to any enthusiast of Mexican cuisine. I started with the guacamole and salsa with a special side of Chapulines. Even if you are a bit nervous to try the delicacy, I highly recommend it for the out of this world flavor. For my main course, I had Conchinita Pibil, which was marinated and slow cooked to perfection. The drinks were phenomenal - I had one tamarind mezcalita and one regular. The service was phenomenal - Daniel had great recommendations and guided me through the menu with a great depth of knowledge. Chef Paco was kind and welcoming and 100% deserves your business.
