I love Bethany, and I love bonjo. Coffee here is great, and so is the staff. I highly recommend this place to any coffee lover.

I no longer come to this coffee shop. I've been here a few times and loved stopping in, but something about the way the coffee was made turned me off of it. It has a bit of a stale taste to it, and the almond milk was just too thick and not very well mixed in to the drink. The baristas have always been very kind and accommodating, but for the price point and their wacky hours, I must say I rarely go in here anymore. Overall, not a bad experience (they rarely have lines in the early mornings or late afternoons from what I've seen) but I'm definitely no longer in love with this coffee spot. To top it off, their selection of pre-packaged sweets next to the cash register are horrifying in both taste and texture.. and they're somewhat pricy for what you actually get. Parking is a bit of an issue here, but not a huge one. So overall, 3 stars. read more

LOVE this place, used to drink the same old chain coffee but now I drink only my Bonjo! The coffees and teas here are delicious and superior. I'm from Seattle where coffee is everywhere, this place reminds me of a cute little Seattle coffee place, it has personality and I am always welcomed by the staff. Best coffee in Stamford. Lots of mediocre choices a stones throw from BonJo-both DD and Donut Delight are steps away. Don't waste your time. Go have a real cup of coffee. I do have 2 small complaints; parking is tight and the one time I got a croissant it wasn't very fresh. That was disappointing. Staff is friendly. read more

The coffee products at this place are great but pricey, it sets it self away from the competitors. Service on a few occasions there was poor, guess the attended need a cup of Joe herself. Don't frequent like I would because of poor service but when I do I enjoy the coffee. Good to know as well coffee roasting done on premises. read more

I purchased a bag of whole roasted espresso beans from BonJo and noticed it did not have a Roast On date like many other coffee roasters do. When I grinned the beans and make an espresso I noticed the coffee tasted stale. I contacted BonJo on a few occasions and asked them when their beans are roasted and why they do not put a Roast On date on their bags. BonJo has never responded to me. They have very poor customer service and are selling stale beans at premium price. Go elsewhere for fresh coffee! read more

Customer service at Bonjo is poor. Girl with nose piercing at the counter didn't greet me, actually she didn't even acknowledge that I walked in the place or that I was standing right in front of her. Finally I had to ask her if I could order. She was talking with a co worker, used poor language, then got on her computer. Went in for the crema di caffe and it was really good. The price is a bit steep at $4 for a tiny 4 oz cup. She could have served it better rather than letting it drip down the side of the cup. I asked her how it was made as I've only seen crema di caffe in Italy and she said it was a mix and she didn't know. I believe Bonjo may be the only coffee shop in Stamford with crema di caffe. I would not go there typically for any other coffee and may skip on crema di caffe completely after this experience. read more

As an avid coffee drinker I am very picky. I usually go to Starbucks not because its great but because of its convenience and its consistency. However, anytime I am near BonJo I get my coffee there. I find the taste to be robust and as I like to say chewy. That is a very good thing in my book. So for all the of the people in the area I strongly recommend you check it out. I also heard they are opening a second location. Don't know if that is true yet but I am excited if it is closer to my home or office. read more

Had just stopped by New Harvest Roasters in Pawtucket RI (excellent coffee and service) as I was driving through and was greatly disappointed with Bon Jo's lack of knowledge on their roast and coffee notes. Just a black cup of coffee out of a kraft. The looks of a great shop were deceiving. Drive on to Greenwich for Coffee Cafe. It is just 12 min away. read more

It breaks my heart, when I trusted this Co. When I purchased a used cappuccino machine that he told me he would guarantee it for a year. It has not been a year yet and it broke. I started this business on a budget n trusted him. He didn't tell me when he installed it & after testing it that the water is hard & I may have problems.It broke down & he wouldn't come & fix it. I hired another company to reassure myself, BonJo was being truthful. He wasn't. I want to warn others who are like me starting a business & beware of this Company. Let karma take its course!!! Absolutely LOVE BonJo Coffee! Recently having moved to Stamford from California, I was thrilled to find a local coffee roaster. There house blend, the BonJo BB Blend, has such a unique flavor that each time I order it, I find another flavor note that I didn't realize was there! I normally just drink drip coffee but having the chance in learning more about BonJo and how all the coffee and espresso are roasted on premise I was intrigued to try their espresso. I was blown away, the espresso, has such a rich flavor unlike others that I have tried in the past that now I never leave without having a single shot of espresso. BonJo also offers single origin coffees and different brew methods. I was always so intimidated by this process but at the same time always wanted to give it chance and I'm happy I did. The staff at BonJo are so knowledgeable and friendly that it was such a unique experience that now I go in at least once a week and try a single origin coffee. BonJo coffee is definitely a MUST try because once you go, you're going to be hooked and come back everyday as I do. I'm having trouble understanding all of these negative reviews as this place is awesome. Yes, parking is limited, yes, it is a small space, and there doesn't seem to be a bathroom, but get over it. It's a far better option than Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks. The coffee is smooth and delicious. the drinks are authentically made, there are countless flavor options and the staff is kind, attentive and efficient. I've been here a few times and I've never had to wait in line, have had all of my answers questions, and the barista couldn't have been kinder and more knowledgable. My drinks are also always consistently delicious which is super important when you're coffee obsessed. I don't need my coffee spots to be a place where I can lounge. If you prefer that kind of atmosphere there is a Dunkin Donuts and a Donut Delight within walking distance, but you won't get incredible drinks like this at either one of those spots. I've been looking for a place like Bonjo for the longest time in Stamford and I am so happy I checked it out. If you're familiar with Neat in Darien and Westport then Bonjo is right up your alley! read more

Finally made it inside this little gem after months of driving past it on my way home to the Cove. Cozy feel inside, like a neighborhood bar, expertly roasted coffee beans and people who know about coffee. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the beans sold and the selection is varied but not overwhelming. Nice assortment of pastries and cold drinks for sale. This place classes up the neighborhood, let's hope it attracts more neighborhood-friendly businesses to the area. read more

Best coffee in Stamford. It has a great look and feel! If you ever want a real coffee experience this is the place to go. All their drinks will use sugar free drizzle if asked.( I was a fan, since Starbucks does not). The owner comes out and has no problem educating you if you are t sure what to get.
