We had the best late lunch early dinner at Bonjour Cafe on Kingsland Blvd across from Taylor High School. My better half had the Croquet Madame which was made with homemade bread, turkey, ham, gruyere, Swiss, chives and a fried egg on top served with a green salad with a traditional French vinaigrette. I chose The Quiche of the day which was prosciutto with spinach & mushrooms served with a green salad with a traditional French vinaigrette. We finished off our meal with one of their Sweet Crêpes, we chose The Apple which had fresh apple, creamy salty caramel, and cinnamon. The crêpe was topped with a light & airy apple purée, a salty creamy caramel, and whipped cream infused with real vanilla bean. Do yourself a favor and stop in for breakfast, lunch, or a delicious dessert with coffee. You will not be disappointed. read more

Food ls pretty good but you can only count on them to have crepes and salads. I've been there on several occasions when they have a sign up advertising a home made soup or some other special that is not ready or they do not have. In other words, it's unreliable. They sometimes don't even have Crossiants ready past noon. I wish the chef would make sure to have the foods on the menu ready during the hours they are open. read more

I normally don't do reviews of places, but this café deserves one. The ambiance of the place is so relaxing and the music is very calming. The service is great as well! And the food.... The food is heavenly. Me and my girlfriend shared a sandwich and we were full, despite wanting to eat more. The portions are big and everything was made from scratch, and you can tell. The bread melts in your mouth and has a nice crunch. The presentation for the food as well was picture-worthy. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! read more

This cafe is an adorable place for a good meal. Everything from the seats and decor to the way the food is served on the plate is aesthetically pleasing. The macchiato was more watery than anything, but the french toast was amazing! The worker was also super friendly and gave me plenty of napkins when I asked. Definitely will be visiting again soon! read more

Service is very bad unfortunately... we where told it would be a 20 min wait and after 35 min we had to come back and ask because she did not text us. the waiter did not bring us menus for 15 min and instead of telling us they ran out of what we ordered they brought us something different. Very unsatisfied after waiting for so long. I expected my experience here to be different. My little sister was so upset she cried :( the managers attitude could've been better as well. This used to be a great location, with great service and taste, but they clearly have changed the chef, or something happened in the kitchen, as the plates take forever to come out. We were waiting for a french hotdog for over 45 minutes, with the restaurant empty and without competing orders-to-go: it looks like whoever took over the kitchen that day was just very very slow. And the taste was not good at all. It is a shame, as the staff has always been so friendly and useful, but we will not come back here. read more

Bonjour cafe is a neighborhood spot for me and my family. We love it so so much. It's one of those places that I want to share with everyone who visits. It reminds me of the movie "You Got Mail" because it's as precious and full of quality like the small bookstore in the movie. You have to check it out. The service is impeccable too. It was wicked good. The Cheesy Bacon definitely lived up to its name and the potatoes were delicious. I wish maybe that there was more spinach in it but it was still very very yummy. So, their closing time is 3pm and I was so excited to try them for the first time since I had just found them and I get there 2:29pm and they say sorry Kitchen is close. Kitchen closes at 2:30pm and because it was 2:29pm they couldn't take my order. That is not good customer service for a first time client so now I won't be coming back. read more

Had to drop my dog if for a bath and grooming so I decided to pop in and try Bonjour. Keeping it simple, I order some croissants to go. They were fresh out of the oven. Having spent time in France, I can say without reservation these are the BEST croissants in Katy. Extremely flaky, so buttery yet very light and airy. A must try for foodies out west.
