Wow. Wow. Wow. Why oh why can Coffee Fellows not be closer to my house?? My husband and I were doing some shopping through the area and decided we needed an afternoon iced coffee. He googled and decided to try Coffee Fellows based on the great reviews. Bless Google for leading us to this land of liquid gold. First, the place is so cute. It was pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon with people hanging out and working on their computers. We were headed back home to Spring, otherwise I would've loved to sit and bask in the ambiance for a bit. The coffee was strong with a great flavor! We often struggle finding that with our iced vanilla lattes. They're usually too sweet or too milky, but Coffee Fellows got it perfect! Keeping my fingers crossed they eventually expand into North Houston. read more

Pretty decent! Not much to complain about here. Great selection of drinks, good food options - sweet and savory, and nice chill atmosphere. Sometimes I think they even have live music! Great spot in the Katy area. Service can get a little backed up but I'd say it's worth it to come here. The food was just good but a little pricey and the coffee was just good but it took forever to get a regular cup of American coffee for a takeout order so eventually I got tired of standing and waiting and needed to sit down which gives you an idea of how slow things went. The lady who took my order was kind and extremely polite and helpful which made me feel good but it appeared they did not have enough staff.. The coffee cup was also a little bit on the small size compared to the price. This is a place similar to Starbucks but it's a more relaxed atmosphere. The furniture appeared very well worn. Maybe this was to simulate someone's old home furniture? There is a drive-thru and service inside. As well as plenty of parking nearby just off of the highway. read more

We went through the drive-thru and it was quick and easy, perfect for a coffee stop on the go! Service was super nice and welcoming. We've been inside before and their food and pastry selections look great, though we haven't tried them yet. I got the tiramisu cold brew and it was so good, great balance of sweetness with a smooth, solid cold brew. I usually get my cold brew black, and this might be changing my mind. Coffee Fellows is a German coffee shop first opened in Bel Aire, but since then they spread out across Houston so we wanted to come and see what the hype was about! Service was great! Emma gave us some great recommendations. We got the sweet mocha latte from the Spring Seasonal menu and the tiramisu cold brew. To eat we got the sausage egg and cheese sandwich and the berry Forest cake. Really nice vibe with lots of lounge chairs to hang out! For the coffee definitely like a 4/5 for both. The sweet mocha latte was very good especially if you're more of a dark chocolate person. The tiramisu kind of just tasted like a normal latte with a hint of extra flavor so I was hoping a little more. The berry forest cake was DELICIOUS!! It was a little small but TONS of flavor. It was like half cheese cake half cake with a sweet jelly like layer on the top. The breakfast sandwich was good too! Overall definitely a 4/5 for me, the coffee wasn't quite what I expected, but the food and service were amazing! Definitely want to come back to try the passion fruit cake and the chocolate twist. read more

Yep, trying to find that ultimate fast, friendly, affordable cup of coffee... This one is on par with vast majority of its direct competitors. The cost is a dollar less than the average is true, but so is the smaller size cups. The nearly 5 minutes from order to delivery of a hot cafe' americano was a bit long, especially for a drive through. The taste was solid, and the service was pleasant and friendly. read more

Coffee was great let me start there. The taste and smell was one of the best I have tried in a while compared to other coffee shops. My 3 Star was customer service and the portions for the price you pay. I drove up the drive thru lane and the lady taking our order seemed like she was in a hurry and didn't want to be there. We had two pastries, the chocolate croissant was good and the maple apple pecan didn't have pecans and was pretty small. The portion of the coffee was almost $6 for the medium size but the cup was halfway filled majority was just foam. Probably go back to get another coffee without foam to see if they give a little more. But it won't be my first option. read more

Maybe it was an off day or something but I was completely underwhelmed by this place. I met a coworker here for breakfast (dine-in) and we ordered 2 drip coffees and breakfast sandwiches. Our coffee was LUKEWARM at best. The sandwiches were bland and were microwaved so long the bread was hard and inedible. We need more coffee shops in the area so i was hoping it would be a winner. I've been waiting months for this place to open up so I was really excited to try it out. However I wasn't impressed. For starters, I ordered a MEDIUM chai matcha latte but I don't it was flavorful enough. Also, I got a medium and it was ridiculously small for practically $6. The prices ($8-9) for the sandwiches were unreasonable for small they were, so I passed. I thought the staff was very friendly though and the decor is very nice. The food and coffee are overpriced. The food is tasty but portion is small and how long it takes to heat up is crazy. If I get food I'm there for about 10minutes. The speaker is so low they can't hear you and vice versa. The staff don't come and tell you anything like "sorry for the wait". I live down the street I have been probably about 8x and it's like this every time whatever time of day. Today was the last time I'll give them my business. Took 10minutes for my frittata (no coffee order just one sandwhich and no one in front of me in line) and they only heated up the English muffin not the actual frittata so I had a warm cold Sandwhich. Why is it so hard for them to get food out in reasonable time for a drive thru and they always seem short staff. read more

I was anticipating Coffee Fellows to open in the area, but sadly it didn't live up to my expectations. The only thing that I would say was wonderful was the customer service, they were so friendly in the drive thru. Unfortunately though, the coffee tasted very watered down and not sweet/or much flavor at all. I ordered a Vanilla Latte with cinnamon, and they made an extra on accident and gave me a free Pumpkin Spiced Latte to try. The Vanilla Latte was probably 5/10, and the PSL I would say 2/10- no hints of pumpkin at all and just tasted like milk. If you don't like your coffee sweet, then you could probably try Coffee Fellows. Overall, I personally prefer other coffee spots in the area. read more

We came on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one car ahead of us and not many people inside, yet we waited 15 minutes for our 2 drinks. It also felt like I was an inconvenience when I asked for recommendations because it was my first time. When we got to the window, they completely got our order wrong and had to reenter it. This is a nice clean coffee shop, kind of out-of-the-way off of 99. The atmosphere is nice, and the service was good. However, the basic drip coffee was awful. It wasn't the roast. While I prefer a dark roast, a good medium roast is still a good cup of coffee. I can't tell you whether this was a good medium roast because the coffee was made so weak That it tasted more like water than coffee. When I mentioned this to those who were serving, they did not seem to understand what I was talking about. My guess is the coffee would be better if they just added more grounds to the filter before brewing. There is literally no way to taste the quality of the coffee when the over bearing taste is water. Fortunately, drip coffee is still not particularly expensive. Although I drove a significant distance to try out this coffee shop while meeting a friend. I will not be back. read more

Coffee: 5/5 I judge a coffee shop by its flat white because so many places fail to do it correctly. Coffee Fellows's supervisor Ashley made it right! It was very enjoyable. It only comes in an 8oz (small) due to the way a flat white is made, and it was worth the $4 (with tax). Ambiance: 5/5 I love the plush bar stool chairs and how many sofa chairs there are. The music was low enough to not overwhelm me. Service: 5/5 Ashley was very kind and I enjoyed chatting with her about how flat whites are made. Where is the expresso?? I ordered a medium caramel macchiato, 3 shots, half sweet and extra hot. They did the extra hot right, but that is all. Could not taste the coffee, thus the reason to order 1/2 sweet. Pretty sure I got a small and only 1 shot. Didn't feel like paying a toll to go back and waste more than the $7 I poured down the drain (literally). Came home and had a MickeyDs in the Keurig. Good luck! My bagel was perfect. (Not the one pictured here.) I ate it and when my mother arrived, she ordered a bagel. Well, the person that made my bagel was no longer there. First: barely toasted. Second time: toasted but cream cheese was melted away. Third time: This is what they gave my mother. The person who looks like a manager had a bad attitude and the young girl brought this bagel over knowing it was burnt. I was excited to go here with my friends after work. We got 2 different drinks and 3 different food options. It was all terrible! I got the campfire frappe, and a friend tried the cinnamon latte. There was no coffee in the frappe, but even as just a frozen chocolate beverage, I'd rate it a 2/10. It tasted very artificial. My other friend ordered a slice of pound cake, and it tasted more like sweet cornbread than a pound cake. Both sandwiches we ordered were burnt and hard as a rock. My Caesar chicken sandwich had spring salad and marinara on it. It was so gross! My drink and sandwich cost about $17. It was definitely not worth it. I couldn't even make myself finish it. Someone is always available, I never see them not working. I think sometimes people are expecting 5 star hotel service or 5 star Michelin rated dining service and forget this is just a coffee shop. I was patiently waiting for this place to open! I had a medium white chocolate iced latte. It comes with two shots of espresso. It was perfect! The staff was cool and bring your order to your table instead of yelling your name. I love that aspect and that they serve your drink in a glass rather than a plastic cup! There are different seating areas. I found it it be comfy enough to sit and do work for an hour. I'll be back. Everyone leaving bad reviews should give them another chance because they just opened. Ordered my drink, a medium seasonal latte. Got to the window, paid. Waited five minutes or so (mind you, I'm the only one in line, and the place is dead). They finally come back to the window, after I had already paid, and let me know they had run out of the syrups necessary for the seasonal latte. Maybe don't charge me before checking that? She says she can make something somewhat similar, I say fine. She brings me a small. Their small is all of 3oz? Not sure who would ever order a small or why they offer one so tiny? Asked if I could have a medium. Got told by the employee that she rang it up as a small (despite having repeated it back to me as a medium when I was ordering). I didn't want to deal with them anymore so I took my 4 sips of coffee and left. The coffee wasn't very good. The breakfast sandwich I got was also not very good. Will not return and don't recommend others go either. I try to give the smaller businesses a chance but this is why people end up going to Starbucks. read more
