I started using Bonnell Ford after having issues getting a timely appointment at Stoneham Ford where I normally go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I found the Bonnell Ford online scheduling system very user friendly and the experience at the dealership was reasonable at my first visit for warranty repair.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After that first positive experience, I booked an 5k service for today. As I left the dealership, after my service was completed, my 2025 Explorer began making a loud scraping sound under the front end. I pulled over and discovered the underbody panel, just below the front bumper, was hanging down and dragging. I returned to the dealership and told them it appeared that some screws were not reinstalled by the lube tech. I also asked the service writer to please have someone do a quality check and make sure all the fasteners were installed properly as my 2025 has only 9900 miles on it and is still like new. He returned with my vehicle and assured me that he double checked personally and all was correct. When I got home, I slid under the Explorer only to find several screws were still missing and the large under body panel was not secured properly. I also found broken clips and hardware which I grabbed as I went back to the dealership where I spoke directly to the service manager. The service manager had my vehicle immediately brought into the shop and then invited me out to have a look. He stated that there would be no reason for the lube tech to take off that particular panel and pointed out what appeared to be scuff marks and suggested that I brought the vehicle in damaged. I argued that my vehicle was like new when I drove it in, and it certainly was not dragging an underbody panel which they already attempted to fix once. He continued to defiantly state that while they would attempt to secure the panel it was not something they caused. As I waited outside for the repair attempt, I walked over to where they stage cars for pick-up, which is where mine was earlier that day. I noticed the curbing is much higher than you would expect it to be, and they are noticeable drag marks and broken pieces of plastic on the ground. Presumable whoever staged my Explorer for pick-up must have driven into the curbing and damaged the underbody panel. Mistakes happen, and in my view it is what you do to remedy the situation that matters. If the service manager had simply made the mistake right instead of blame shifting onto the customer, I would have been more than pleased. Avoid Bonnell Ford at all costs!! They claim to be a "Premium Ford Car Dealership," yet they can't be trusted with an oil change and have ZERO integrity.

The same day I brought my F150, mentioned in my previous oil consumption review, I also brought my wife's expedition in for an oil change. We were headed to NH to see the foliage and figured an oil change was in order. In Littleton, NH, 145 miles away our check engine light came on. Upon inspection I found that the oil fill cover was left off by Bonnell's technician and was crushed and imbedded near the air intake under the hood. I covered the oil fill with gorilla tape. I called the Bonnell service department and told Jeff Bonnell of the problem. Engine light stayed on until a helpful auto parts store got me a replacement the next day. I have not heard back from Jeff Bonnell concerning this incident. Do yourself a favor and have your vehicle serviced anywhere except Bonnell Ford. Pictures attached.

This is a long overdue review of Scott. My wife and I have used Scott twice to replace her cars,…read moreand both times he delivered and surpassed our expectations. We were introduced to Scott by a colleague of mine who also used him and was happy with him. And we remain grateful for that introduction. Looking back, I can see that we continued using Scott for 4 primary reasons: 1- We trust him 2- We value his expertise 3- We enjoy working with him 4- We don't have time to handle getting new cars ourselves. We first used Scott in 2021. After reviewing what my wife wanted in her X5, he rightly advised that we go with a custom build. Scott handled everything from the negotiation of the deal to placing the order to finalizing the documents which we simply DocuSigned before the car was delivered to our home. Throughout the process, Scott tracked the progress of the car build and kept us updated, and my wife was extremely happy with the car she ended up with. Despite the car being a custom build, Scott was able to get it at 9K below MSRP at a time when car prices were already starting to get somewhat crazy. Scott's involvement didn't stop with the car delivery. The car had some tree sap on one of the mirrors, and he ensured the dealer took care of that as well. The second time we used Scott was toward the end of 2023. The last few months of 2023 were trying for us as a family with the loss of my father, then a close uncle, then our dog, and then my wife's stepfather. Those losses combined with our jobs made it difficult for us to work with Scott with much lead time. We ended up asking him to find my wife a 2024 X5 matching a specific build and he literally had days right before Christmas to do it. And he DID it. This time, the new car was again 8-9K below MSRP. And Scott again took care of handling everything from finding the car which he did in a weekend, to negotiating the deal, to finalizing the documents for us to DocuSign, and finally ensuring the car was delivered again to our home. With everything we had going on in our lives and our jobs, I can say without the shadow of a doubt that if it weren't for Scott, my wife would not have been able to get a new car by end of 2023. We highly recommend Scott, much like he was highly recommended to us. And we are grateful for his good nature and calm dealing with our constraints in 2023 because we know that couldn't have been easy for him. In a world where everything is inflated, Scott is one of the few exceptions where the value you receive far outweighs the fee you pay.

I found myself googling "can you hire someone to buy a car for you?" And that's how I found Scott! He made the process positive, exciting, and absolutely stress free. I cannot imagine buying a car any other way. I was very overwhelmed by all of the car options and had no idea what I wanted. After a brief phone call, Scott was able to narrow down 2-3 cars that would be perfect for my needs. I literally did not have to leave my house one single time. As a nurse who works long hours, and primarily overnights, this was so helpful for me. Scott was very flexible with my schedule. The best part is that he is one of the nicest people, and you can immediately sense his passion for cars and for genuinely wanting to help people and make the car buying process as pleasant as possible. The price for Scott's services is extremely reasonable considering everything that he does for you. He will also make sure to get a very fair price for your car. I have told literally everybody I know about Scott's services, and will continue to recommend him for anybody buying a car. Thank you Scott!!!

AWESOME CUSTOMER SUPPORT!…read more My van radio died, so I bought a used replacement on eBay for $50. I was careful to buy the EXACT same model. My mechanic told me I couldn't replace it myself because it had to be "reprogrammed," and suggested I call a dealership. I called Grava Chrysler. They told me it would cost around $160. I made numerous appointments to have the work done, and every time I showed up there was a problem--they had no record of the appointment, I needed the VIN number of the original vehicle, the guy who did that work was out that day, they don't do that kind of work, etc. It was like a comedy sketch of what deliberately bad, abusive customer relations look like. Only it wasn't funny. After numerous phone calls and 3 (dis)appointments with Grava, I gave up on them and called Lawless. Within 5 minutes, the guy at the service desk asked me for the serial number off the replacement radio, gave me a code over the phone. In another 5 minutes I had the radio "reprogrammed" and working. No $160 fee, no run-around, no incompetence and scheming to bilk a trusting customer. Just old-school helpful advice. If I ever need future work on my Dodge Caravan, these guys get my business. Grava will get nothing but bad reviews for as long as I drive Dodge Caravans (and I've owned 5 of them).
