Bunnies, ducks and chickens were all full to the brim with animals. The store associate said her siblings had already passed and they had not sought out any veterinary care. Upon taking the baby home, she was infested with fleas and covered in flea dirt. I probably removed 30 fleas from her tiny body. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts She passed away a few days later. I'm begging the owners and the workers of this store to do better. These animals deserve so much better. I'm absolutely heartbroken.

The first time I went was at 5:30, thinking I had until 7 pm to get the DIY wash done. I was told the store closed at 7 pm, BUT the DIY dog wash closed at 6 pm, so I only had half an hour. I knew that wasn't going to be enough time, so we left and came back the next day, much earlier. The staff was empathetic and very nice both times. The wash went well, and the staff was super-helpful, equipped with towels, a choice of shampoo (or bring your own if you like), and clearly articulated instructions. The water was hot to the touch. I was told a new water heater was to blame, but if I waited a minute or two, the water would cool off and become warm, which it did. My pup was not pleased at all with the "blow-dry" setup. It is a loud shop vac with hoses extending through the drying bays. We politely aborted that part of the process. It was actually okay, since we had enough towels to get her 90% dry. I was happy with the outcome.

This time, I'm really glad I trusted my gut and bought the smaller 12 lb bag instead of the big one because sure enough, she didn't eat it. When I went back, Katie was incredibly helpful with getting me set up for an exchange. I wasn't looking for a refund, just something my dog would actually enjoy eating, and she made the process smooth and stress-free. Just a heads up for anyone there is a 30-day return policy, but you do need to bring the bag and have your receipt (email or text works great) to avoid any hiccups. Also, Kat was there sampling the Nutri Source, and she was amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and great with the dogs. She gave me some samples and really took the time to understand what was going on with my pup. Since my dog is grain-free, she suggested possibly rotating between grain-free and grain-inclusive options, which I hadn't considered before. I ended up trying the chicken and rice recipe so we'll see how that goes! Overall, everyone there is always welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about helping you find the best for your pet. All of the trainers are wonderful, however John has been exactly what I was looking for. He is incredibly knowledgeable, not afraid to be direct to ensure I'm training correctly, and is always taking the time to individually meet our pups needs even in a group setting. Having a Malinois is challenging, but with the proper guidance and training - has made all the difference. I would recommend this place to any dog owner, new or old!!

Unfortunately I trusted the Zoom Room website that their trainers would ensure a safe environment…read more My 11.4 pound puppy attended a puppy playgroup and less than 10 minutes into the session was stepped on by a very large Great Dane puppy. My puppy screamed in pain and the "trainer" started yelling at me to "get out!" and as I carried my screaming puppy out he mockingly shouted to all the other owners "She's just a drama queen!" My puppy would not bear weight on the injured foot. X-rays showed there were no broken bones, so the veterinarian bandaged her leg and we waited a week until the bandage was removed to find out if she needed an MRI to assess ligament injury. Fortunately when her bandage was removed she was no longer lame so no ligament injury. We had an almost $500 veterinary bill from her injury at the Zoom Room and the owner/manager never contacted us. The "trainer" said he would refund our $25 puppy play group fee and did not.

Brenda and Foothills Canine was recommended to me by a trusted friend who also is a dog trainer…read more(but who lives too far away to work with my pups). We signed up both of our dogs for the beginner class and made a lot of progress in the 8 weeks of classes. The class size is limited to around 10 and that's great as she is able to see what everyone is doing and give some personal attention when needed. She is a very patient instructor and never makes anyone feel badly for asking a question or needing to see a demonstration again. The facility is very nice - open and clean and easy to get to. And she clearly adores all of the dogs. They make her smile and laugh and in turn that makes us all love our pups even more.
