Stopped by Farmstead's while in St. George and it is a popular place for a reason! Such a delicious selection of sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. I ordered a BLT with mozzarella on crunchy baguette and it was light and satisfying. My latte was well-made. Only wish I'd gotten the flatbread pizza that came out right after I ordered! There was a big lunch rush when we got there but the service was fast and friendly. It was very chilly and there are only a few tables indoors. They have lots of patio seating but it's all in the shade - would've been perfect with a few portable heaters but we took it across the street and sat in the sun. There was a very long line of 30 people waiting to put their orders. Surprisingly they served us very fast. We were in a rush to go to Arizona from Vegas and we went through the line in less than 30 minutes. The food was very good. Prices are a little more expensive than most bakery but well worth it. There isn't much of an ambiance but you pretty much just place your order and get your coffee to go. We don't go for the ambiance so I don't think it should affect the rating. read more

AMAZING!!! A gem in southern Utah!! If you love pastries and breakfast sandwiches this place is perfect! They also do pizzas. The line was pretty long but they got us through really quickly and were constantly refilling their food. Also it's adorable and the seating outside was nice for this time of year. Really good pastries and coffee drinks. We cozied up here for an hour before walking around.

Beautiful pastries but not superior taste--croissants do not have that super buttery flavor, donuts are good but lack that freshly deep fried flavor. We will return because the staff is great and all in all for the price they are a great value. read more

Located right downtown, parking is usually easy to find. This is a popular spot and there is often a line of customers whenever we're there, but it moves quickly. Yelp reviewers then reinforced Farmsteads popularity of establishment and quality of product. The space is small yet bright, clean and inviting. Coffee - I am usually skeptical about either coffee at a bakery or baked goods at a coffee shop, Farmstead knocked both out of the park. Now this is a bakery. The donuts are light and airy, which is what makes this place so legit. We tried the Boston cream pie donut and the salted caramel apple fritter and both were delicious.
