The guys at Buch Spieler are courteous, and so incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to all things music. My son loves spending time in here, and I cannot thank the staff enough for their patience and kindness with his questions, requests, and chatter! They don't just have vinyl! There are posters, cd's, coffee beans!, and awesome merchandise! For my birthday this year, my husband got me a new record player and speakers from Buch, and it is awesome! The sound quality of the speakers is loud, clear, and perfect. The system itself has great features and a nice cover to keep dust and wandering children's hands away from the vinyls! A great find. Was done work early and looking for a record store. Google told me it was a block…read moreaway. (How's that for fate?) Decent sized store with a more than decent inventory. Stereo equipment, jewelry, clothing, cds, and RECORDS!!! New! Used!! Repressed!! They have it. For the most part pretty well organized as well. One of the few record stores that actually has a country section! I found a bunch of albums that I hadn't seen before. Great find! I ended up with a couple of dozen albums that were a mixture of new and used, rock, metal and country. There's also a display case with pins, patches, buttons, and asst heavy metal wristbands etc where I did get some pins I haven't seen in decades. When it was time to check out, no bags. Nope. Don't want to have bags rip. A nice heavy duty shipping box that had all the packaging material so the records couldn't bounce around in the box. Very very considerate. Only downside was parking. While I did find a parking spot immediately in front of store, the pay kiosk is half a block away. I'm old and lazy. There is a walmart across the street with free parking. Had I paid attention, I would've parked there. But that's the only downside. I'll be back in Rutland in about a month. I will definitely make time to revisit this store. Thank you.

I shop for records all over the country and have never seen a more overpriced record store…read more They certainly have a commendable amount of inventory- in particular of foreign rock n roll pressings. If you are a KISS fan especially, there is a lot of specialized, rarer stuff here. But the rare inventory seems to come at the cost of all the inventory's pricing. The prices are 2-3 times what I've paid for the same condition pressings elsewhere- sometimes 4-5 times more. I'm not sure how it's getting these prices especially in a small town like Rochester. A bummer- if the prices were in line I would've bought a good dozen records!

Everything was well run, everyone in line was respectful and nice, I'm not sure if this is how all RSD events are, but, I'm glad that this was my experience. A plus is that the condition of all of the used records has been graded, and, to my eye, the grades are conservative rather than inflated, which I really respect. I walked out with a few used jazz titles that I have not seen elsewhere, so, despite the limited supply, there were treasures to be had! This was the first of three record shops I visited in Burlington and, if these three are representative, Burlington punches above its weight in the vinyl shopping department!
