I'm not generally a huge fan of fried chicken but I have to say that I LOVED these chicken wings. My favorites were the Louisiana Rub and the Lemon Pepper chicken wings. My third favorite was the spicy flavored wings. The chicken was moist and tender, but not greasy, and the flavors were amazing. I also tried the onion rings and fries and they were pretty yum. Just stopped by here today first time. Was working on the area and wanted something to eat. I checked out this place on Yelp had pretty good reviews so I had to come see what's it all about. After playing out so many other chicken spots I just needed to find a new place to eat at. Man!!!! I gotta say this chicken is amazingly good! The tenders crispy and so tender and the sauces are on point they know just the right amount of seasoning and sauce to add. Best thing yet, whoever was taking my order over the phone (black male) asked for my name and said verbatim "oh I'll be remembering that name" before ending the call. Top-notch customer service. As I was leaving, the black male that was on the phone peaks out from the kitchen doors and asks me if I was phone earlier. Then he starts sizing me up ("what's up? Was that you on the phone? You sounded agitated over the phone") as if he's boutta pounce on a customer for ordering with common nomenclature for fried chicken wings (Tbh I was annoyed by the way they antagonized me over the phone for my vocabulary choice. This happened more than once. I'd have to do the math for them and tell them how many wings I wanted). I made some bullshit excuse to de-escalate and left. I'm not risking my current employment by getting into an altercation with these clowns. There's plenty of fried chicken game in town (coaches, Buffalo wild wings, taps challenger house, wingstop, etc) that I'm not remorseful about leaving them in the dust with my business. They probably can't make it through this whole review without opening a dictionary, if they even encountered one in their entire lives. I'm good with it. Anyhow, be warn. Okay so I've tried other competitors and I must say this is the best!! And they are open Monday through Saturday from lunch to dinner. And no huge lines as of yet. A must try!! Boom Chicken is the Lancaster location of their tasty Palmdale shop (Boom Boom Chicken), they lost a Boom along the way. Tuesdays are .60 wing day! The chicken is just as tasty and well done as the Palmdale shop. The wings are large and well cooked, while remaining juicy and tender. They have all the delicious sides on their menu. I recommend the corn salad. Unlike the Palmdale store they have a soda machine, unfortunately you can't fill your own and have to ask for refills causing traffic at the front counter. They are a bit disorganized and the eat in side of things is very small as well as a bit unkempt. They were having difficulties with one of their terminals, credit cards worked but debit cards did not. I gave up and paid cash. The girl at the counter was pleasant and helpful and the young man helping the cook fulfill orders was also pleasant. The order was quicker from here than my experiences at their Palmdale location with no sacrifice of quality. They were very busy so I hope they stay in business and tune up their growing pains. Been a regular since this location opened. The manager Vincent is a great dude, always friendly and makes small talk when I come - sometimes alone, sometimes the wife, and sometimes my dad too. The wings ate truly the best I've had and I'm hooked on the Louisiana Rub. The fries and onion rings are fried perfectly. They're never soggy and the onion never slides out like it does at most places, it goes with the crunch of that amazing fry-job. It's a small location, but they're always cooking up great wings. I pick up my order in the Lancaster area it's not a very nice place to go, no parking, dirty parking lot and does not seem to be a safe to go...I place my order over the phone and ready within 10 minutes, when I got home unsealed the bag and look thru my chickens and onion rings all I saw was old dry, hard burn wings inside the box and greasy warm onion rings.
