It was good to see BoomerJack's was open during such challenging times. The four star is for the cleanliness, sanitation, social distancing, hand sanitizer and masks requirements. They were following CDC guidelines. The outside seating was a bit crowded, but everyone was still 6 feet apart. The boneless wings were about a 3 star. They looked good but were a bit cool on the inside. Their bone-in wings, burgers and fries were really good. I would revisit and give their boneless wings another try. read more

Hostess was incredibly rude the moment that we arrived. She had rather play on her phone than have to do her job. She took us to the table and tossed the menus on the table and walked away. 12 minutes later our server finally showed up to even acknowledge the table. 24 additional minutes passed by the time the drinks arrived back to the table (3 fountain sodas and one small draft beer) once the drinks arrived we ordered appetizers and the server said she would come back to take the food order. We waited and waited, to the point we finally got up and asked the hostess (still playing on her phone) to ask the server to come take our order. The server came back and took our order a few minutes later. We ordered two burger fry meals, a kids burger meal and a flatbread. From the time we ordered it was 45 minutes ( over an hour and half since we sat down at the table). The restaurant portion was not very busy, but the patio was full. We didn't see much food going out to the patio mainly drinks and appetizers. We had to get up to find someone for napkins, we had to get up and find someone for refills to drinks. We had to get up to find someone for to go boxes and we had to get up to ask for our ticket so we could pay and leave. The table that sat down next to us after we got our drinks was the only reason we really got service at all- each time someone came to help them we had to ask them to get our server or whatever we needed. I eat out usually at least one meal a day, and I can honestly say it's been a decade since I've had this bad of service. I'm incredibly understanding and observant to my surroundings to see why something might not be going smoothly but in this visit there just wasn't an explanation. The only person that seemed to be truly busy was the bartender for the patio area. Our server never offered even an apology for the insane wait times for fountain sodas, burgers, or having to hunt her down every time we needed something. We paid and left. Ive never stiffed a server on a tip in my life and didn't with this visit as well. I'm an incredibly generous tipper leaving 50% on a regular basis. This visit went down to a standard service tip which wasn't earned at all. The kicker is before we even left the parking lot both adults that ate burgers were sick and feeling like they were going to throw up. I prefer chains because of the consistency of food, this location however is not the same as other boomerjacks in dfw. The food tasted different, especially the fried food so maybe it's a difference in oil? Either way, we wouldn't recommend this location. read more

I was at this location Saturday night to watch the Tyson Fury fight while on a date. The location is large and super spacious. We got there around 7:30 pm and it was not super packed but a good crowd as they were still watching a football game. We ordered the sampler with lemon pepper boneless wings, Southwest egg rolls, and cheese bites. We also ordered a beer and patron margarita. Our waitress was super friendly and very accommodating. Our sampler came out and the egg rolls were burnt. A manager walked by before our waitress came back and he apologized and said he would get it taken care of for us, which he did. We ordered the gummi bear shot, and one of the glasses were dirty, this was a Saturday special and I do not recommend it was nasty. My date then ordered some chips and salsa but the chips were stale so he sent it back. We them ordered a fireball and lemon drop shot which both came out hot and not chilled at all. My lemon drop looked more like a fireball it was so dark. The waitress apologized and got it chilled, she actually remade the drink herself for me. Our last drinks were the the cherry blitz and a beer which were good. Overall was underwhelmed with the food and drinks but I do understand it was a super busy night. The staff was super friendly and accommodating which literally saved this review from being one star. read more

Despite the bustling atmosphere due to the Texas Rangers World Series, I initially had doubts about the quality of service we would receive. However, to my surprise, Celeste provided us with exceptional service and offered various options. She was so fast, and I noticed she was making so many drinks for the restaurant while still interacting with us and other bar guests, Now thats dedication! Went to the new location this week during lunch and was underwhelmed with their service. We sat at the table for 15 minutes before having to call the manager via phone. Granted we were given an appetizer on the house and a couple of extra punches on a card, It's hard to reason why when we literally one of five tables in the whole building. Food was okay. I am a huge fan of Boomerjacks. I love the food, drinks, and the crowd no matter what location I go to. Had a very unsettling experience at this location on Saturday. It was my first time at this location and I was there for a family birthday party which was amazing! However, when one of my uncles tried to pay for his drink with an older $100 bill that is still in circulation, the restaurant refused to accept it saying that "they did not have the technology to verify that it was real." This came from a manager named Neal. The waitress took the bill from my uncle and ran off with it without giving him change or even letting him know that she needed to go check with a manager. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! My uncle was horrified by all of this. We did not make a big deal of it at the time and I decided to call the location this morning (Monday) to get the telephone number for the corporate office to try and understand the restaurants policy and how they can refuse cash because THEY do not have the appropriate technology. I called the restaurant and Kiera REFUSED to give me the corporate telephone number or let me speak to a manager! What the heck? I will be filing further complaints. read more

They have some really good wings, salads, Teriyaki Salmon, Chicken fried steak, mixed veggies and all was very good and tasty. I really enjoyed the food and the service. On another occasion I ordered food to go, and I thought I had arranged curbside service. So when I called to let them know I was outside. She said we don't deliver outside anymore, so I told her I had a broke arm . She apologized and asked what spot I was in. She bought my food out to me . She was so kind, I tipped her good!! Went to Boomer Jacks on a Friday evening for a fun family dinner. I have to say the food, drinks, and our waitress Isabella were amazing but management needs to practice on their hospitality. I call to try to make a reservation but was told them they did not take reservations first come first serve. my husband and I arrive 1st to try to secure a table. as the hostess was speaking to us the manager came up and interrupted us. He refused to sit us an a large table until our whole party arrived. Which would have been fine but his tone was rude and he answered my questions with an attitude. Three meals were missing when entrees were served. Server never came back to check if the food was right. I had a chicken fried steak with mash potatoes and Mac and cheese. Chicken fried steak taste and looked like it came from a school cafeteria. They put some sort of brown gravy on it that had no taste. No white gravy option. Mac was watery and bland.
