Delicious! Local favorite and did not disappoint!

We are from out of town and stop by for a burger and was very happy with our meal! Service was great and friendly!

Had a really sketchy experience with the service as others have recently noted. Food was good and fairly priced , our group got burgers, salmon and grilled cheese. Draft beer was out due to lack of CO2. Umm what? Ordered cocktails including the $6 old fashioned. Bill came and they had been upgraded to $11 Woodford old fashioned without our knowledge. Tracked down server {hanging out chatting with other employees on their phones} who said they were out of the listed bourbon so he "picked one he thought would be good". Shady AF. If that's the case you let the customer know and let them decide. Glad I didn't order a second one!

Really good! Stopped into New Albany to watch the eclipse by the river. This was open, so we popped in for lunch. My kids got the mac and cheese and I got the salmon cake with wild rice. Really liked it and the entire bill was only like $29.

Friend and I got the ice cream mugs which were amazing. Friendly, attentive service - I'll come back again soon.

Gorgeous updates in the interior! This flooring is 70,000 pennies. Love.

Guys!! I don't usually get hyped up to write a review here, but I LOVED Boomtown Kitchen and I'm so happy that something so solid has finally moved into Southside - prayers that Boomtown stays long and prospers. The pretzel with beer cheese was fabulous. Gigantic pretzel, crisp exterior, warm, and just enough salt. Very good. The accompanying beer cheese was a large portion, probably 1 cup, and was smooth, creamy, and had a tad bit of heat. Delicious. For dinner we did the blackened salmon which was moist and had a great flavor, as well as the salmon cakes. The salmon cakes took the cake: big portion, pan-fried crisp on the outside, topped with pico and a nice, simple drizzle of aioli. We also did the house salad and the zucchini and squash - soo good. All fresh, wonderful ingredients, and loved the flavors of everything we had. Last but not least, the "Perry-Dise" cocktail was FANTASTIC. Fruity, sweet, and HOT. This cocktail was infused with a housemade mango habanero mixture, and it was awesome. Definitely recommend! Will be a regular here for sure. Appetizer, two dinners, a soda, and cocktail totaled $47.

The picture speaks for itself and the cheese is heavenly.

If you are looking for a good place to eat with simple food you have to check them out. Located in New Albany. It sits in the former location of the infamous South Side Inn. One of the best places to get fish in our area. While things have changed the food is excellent. They have a good beer selection. No kids menu but there is enough there a kid would like. One thing you need to pay attention to is the penny floor when you walk in. Dumb me forgot to get a picture. Go support this local place. Go shop in New Albany and then go grab some food. Plenty of parking. It is right by the river front area so you can eat and then go check out the river walk. You won't be disappointed.

I met up with a friend, and I liked the fact that we could hear each other when we spoke. I ordered the goat cheese appetizer and Moroccan meatball appetizer. Both came out hot. The goat cheese balls had a crispy outer shell and were very yummy. The meatballs were in a unique tomato-based sauce which I also enjoyed. I ordered the Voodoo pasta with blackened shrimp. I am not usually impressed by cream based pasta, but this time I was. The pasta was bursting with flavor as were the grilled shrimp. There was a generous amount of crunchy shrimp in the entree. I also had tried the Drink With No Name. I have nothing negative to say about it. You won't either. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive, so service was, in other words, perfect. Portions are generous.

Great ambiance and decor, feels rustic and chic at the same time! Comfortable chairs which is rare to find anymore. We were seated at a low table in the room at the front which was nice as it was quieter than the big open restaurant in the main part. My mom and I had a great lunch! The attentive waitress shared that the chef was new and it was a new menu. There were so many fabulous choices on the menu it was hard to choose. Goat cheese burger, fish and chips, Brie and jam grilled cheese, Nashville hot chicken, just so many things sounded good. I opted for the Nashville hot chicken, it was moist chicken breaded and nice and crisp, with a creamy slaw and a chili oil drizzled on it for more spice, then it also had habagardil pickles on it, the best pickles I have ever had! Only a couple places use these local pops habagardil pickles and they are spicy and delicious. The sandwich was delicious on a brioche bun. Messy, and magical this sandwich was. The fries were so good it was hard to stop eating them! My mom had the blueberry jam and bacon Brie grilled cheese with a drizzle of balsamic glaze, and she eats very little but she devoured this sandwich and also loved the fries! The tomato basil soup also looked good! I will have to become a repeat customer because I need to try that goat cheese burger and the salmon bowl, well, and every single entree on the menu!! Bringing friends back soon!! The chef here is creating some amazing food!! The only issue we had was finding parking. She uses a walker and the only place we could find to park was handicapped over at a neighboring restaurant and it was a bit of a walk for someone with mobility issues. Front doors are heavy, and you have to open both doors for it to be wide enough for the walker to go through, so getting in wasn't easy. Food amazing, accessibility challenging.

She was very friendly and was not hesitant to make jokes to keep the good vibes! The restaurant opens the side doors to let fresh air in on a sunny day which is amazing if you don't want to sweat in the sun but still want to feel a nice breeze. The sliders were amazing, the chicken was not dry which is common in bar food places. The concept of every bread being rolls gives the hot dog an extra security when picking it up. Really excited to go back when the days are warmer and can enjoy the patio section!

Even before we were seated, I noticed a server wearing a green bandanna speaking to another employee, who we later learned was the manager on duty, in a way that seemed unprofessional and unfriendly. After we were seated, my wife asked if we could move because she was cold. We then waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. When our server finally arrived, she acted like she didn't want to be there. My wife asked for a recommendation, but the response was vague and unhelpful. Our drink order was wrong. My wife and I ordered waters, and our son ordered a Sprite, but we received two lemonades and one water instead. After taking our order, our server disappeared. She never brought our food, checked on us, asked if we needed refills, or stopped by the table again. The manager walked past our table several times but never seemed interested in checking on our experience. The biggest issue was my son's meal. He ordered chicken sliders with the sauce on the side, but they arrived covered in sauce. Another employee took the meal back to be remade, but it came back wrong a second time. By then, my wife and I had already finished eating, and our son had been waiting nearly an hour without a proper meal. When I spoke with the manager, I asked that my son's meal be removed from the bill. Instead of taking responsibility and apologizing, the manager offered excuses rather than solutions. Mistakes can happen, but it's how they're handled that matters. Unfortunately, the customer service from both our server and the manager was disappointing. We left frustrated, and based on this experience, we will not be returning to this location.

The decor was fun with painted murals and designs covering every surface. I especially liked all the "climbing men" stationed around at various places. It was plenty of food for the two of us and Eveything was delicious. We left just enough room for the huge piece of Chocolate Cake, $14. We ate the bottom two tiers and took the rest home. Yum.
