They do great work they make sure every thing is done and they do extra if they need to.

Had an issue with my door to where it would not open from the outside called them that day to make an appointment to have Shane (one of the owners) take a look at it...he stated that I did not need an appointment and to just stop by. I stopped in not even 10 minutes later they had me leave my car there, fixed it in less than an hour and charged me $20 bucks. I took my car there after my wife was rear ended by a state farm covered driver. State farm recommended Boone County Auto Body. A couple of days after they took my car in, I got a call that my car was done. It wasn't. The trunk opened and wobbled terribly. And it would not shut. Remember, they called me and told me it was done. I took it back. They apparently fixed the trunk. When I picked it up I drove it home and checked all over the repair. The Trunk still wasn't fixed, the tail lights did not line up where the trunk meets the body. The trunk was warped. There was interior damage that was blown off underneath the rubber weather seal in the trunk. They just ignored it. How do I know they blew it off? How do I know this repair wasn't done correctly? I called state farm and asked for someone else from State Farm to check the repair. Dean from State farm came to my home and informed me that not only did they not fix my trunk, there were other things they didn't fix that they thought I didn't notice. Dean was great. I felt Boone County Auto Body tried to rip me off by trying to tell me my car was repaired when they knew it wasn't. Dean asked if I wanted Boone County Auto Body to try and make things right or take it somewhere else. They already tried to hide things from me so I asked Dean to recommend a body shop. He recommended Anderson Auto Body in Genoa. Anderson fixed the shoddy work that was done at Boone County Auto Body and fixed the other problems they ignored or missed. State Farm made Boone County Auto Body pay for my loaner during the Anderson Repair so I commend State Farm for making things right. I just wonder how many customers used Boone County Auto Body thinking there car was repaired properly never knowing for sure if it was. maybe this was just one of those things but I'll never give them another chance to find out. read more

Bought a vehicle that was painted at this location. Called for some touch up paint. Eventually found my way to the gentleman (Shannon) who said he painted the vehicle ( silver 82 Corvette). Was rushed off the phone but said he would make some paint and send it in the mail. Gave him the name and address to send the touch up paint (Location being open 24/7/365. 1week passed, then 2 weeks, then 3weeks, then 4 weeks and nothing. So I called up and spoke to Shannon again. Rushed me off the phone again and said he would send some touch up paint. Again gave the name and address to where to send the paint to. It's been 8 weeks since the second phone call/ paint request and still nothing. At this point it's not even worth calling for a third time to get brushed off and lied to again. Very disappointed in the services provided from this facility. Buyer beware.not worth it read more

I really wanted to like this local business but can't. After my wife got into an accident took here and let them know that this was being covered by the person who hit my trucks insurance. I explained that even though the damage to body was minor the truck went up a high curb, more than 8 inches, and I was worried about under carriage steering and suspension. I was told no worries all will be great when done. Also told them I had state farm and if something wasn't going to be fixed by other insurance to contact state farm. I was told no need as their a direct repair facility for both companies. Truck will be done in 3 days. A week goes by and I called to see what was up. Lady said truck is done come on down. No call from them. So my wife goes to pick up and 2 miles from their shop the power sterring goes out. She also said that when she went to get the truck the battery was dead and needed to be jumped. Also the drivers side running board wasn't replaced as they said that they couldn't find a match and they would write me a check for the difference. Call them and they said not related to accident. No sorry let's get it looked at etc. Get my insurance to tow to local shop who said power steering line and cooler bad. Call the shop and again sorry can't help not related to accident. So I pay the shop directly to fix the cooler and lines. Now get truck back and seems OK except alignment which they were paid to perform but not going to make a major issue as I have a lifetime agreement where I got my tires replaced. I called about the check for the running board and was told I would have in 7 days. Nothing. Call again and got a song and dance about business office is busy and they will get it to me. Now I go in a week later and no check. I pushed for 3 months and finally cut my losses. Now the truck is sitting in my driveway because a brake line started leaking and after checking it is the right front and the metal line is smashed almost closed and cause a leak from impact where my wife went up the curb. Also the entire left side that had paint work is rusting horrible with bondo chunks falling off. Great work from a local owned shop. Never again. Steering clear if you can. read more

Friendly and professional. Finished my car before expected. Looks like new again. Had another pice get touched up and had a drip in the paint. Did not notice til I got home a couple days later. Figured it was my fault for not noticing it at time of delivery. Never brought it up to the shop at that point. read more

Had some work done on one vehicle was pretty satisfied until about a month passed and I went to use my windshield washer. After my vehicle was reassembled the small hose for the window sprayer wasn't snapped back into place, so when the hood was closed it cut the hose. I thought no big deal and got the issue fixed with a few cent part. Few weeks went by and I decide to have another vehicle detailed. When I went to pick the vehicle up I wasn't happy with the work. When they buffed the vehicle, they went all the way through the paint. The spot was definitely noticeable, about a size of a pen. Not sure how that got passed inspection, not to mention the wax and polish residue all over the trim, door handles, bumpers and even headlights. Finally had the vehicle touched up and when I went to pick it up after hours, they forgot to leave the vehicle out. Went another day and got the vehicle, It was raining that day so I couldn't see the work done. Upon inspection next day I was disappointed again. Lots of swirl marks from the buffer. Definitely not worth $200 detail job. Will never do buisnes with them again. I had to leave one star because there was no option to leave it blank. read more
