There are 17 Newfoundlands at the kennels who literally never get human contact other than when they get fed. They do not get walked regularly and sleep on cement floors with a small access door to the outside. I'm not quite sure why there are so many if there is no time for them. However, they may be used to that. The main issue is this, if you are bringing your dog here, they will not get ANY human time or a walk unless you pay extra. Customers bring in blankets and beds for their dogs well being. Your dog will not have this. They are put on a shelf or stored away. Return customers bring in blankets, etc. If not going to allow the dog to use it, why not say that? Your dog will sleep on a cement floor. It is loud, noisy and I can only imagine your dog feels abandoned. Do not pay for this service. While the intention is good, it is not executed as you will be led to believe. There are only one or two staff to care for all animals here. Not good enough.

This office is awesome. It is really a long hike for me out to Scottsville, but I continue taking Freddy here now just because the quality of care is so high. The front desk staff is soooo helpful, kind, and loving towards every pet that walks in the door - same with the practitioners. You never feel as if you're taking up too much of the doctor's time with questions, and they have a great notification system that lets me know when Freddy is due for her boosters or monthly meds. I am hesitant to take her anywhere else since they've known my girl since she was a baby, and it is hard to find really high quality care for our pets! If you're living on the west side and looking for a wonderful care community for your cats, dogs or critters - I would recommend Riverside in a heartbeat!

I contacted owner an explained our situation. She texted that if i had contacted her a little sooner (hours) it would not be an issue. A question i had for her was what difference it would have made if you have a no refund policy. She informed us about the no refund policy. Told me she needed the money for rent, check cleared the bank and issue was closed. I'm not disputing the policy in which i signed, I'm letting others know how she chose to handle. I even offered to pay for her visit, again No Refunds. I can understand if she held place in her schedule and we caused a financial hardship due to cancelling at a point weeks later. At this point she has our money and has done Nothing for it. Is this someone you can trust! In life we have all been in a similar situation, Life Happens.
